I had a DS4 in my cart and was waiting a minute to see if anything else dropped to add to the order. DS4s ran out and it was just taken out of my cart. Awesome. Guess having it in your cart doesn't matter anymore, you have to pay for it immediately.

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say it's intentional because they wanted to stop the issue of having "33 left" of a game that no one could buy because people were sitting on them in their carts. Seems like the better solution would be to actually enforce a "remains in your cart for X time" rule instead of making the whole site a race to input CC information.
