The New Silver PS2...better specs?

Will the new Silver PS2 coming out or that white one...do they differ in specs like any new features compared to the black one? Cause I bought the black one but I will probably return it if theres better features on the new one coming out. Color doesn't matter much to me, so ya I just want the best features so if anyone could say it'd be much appreciated.

Nope, just a different color. Will have the same functionality of the regular black systems; same guts under the hood. Now whether or not the silver units are based on the latest SCPH-77001 model revision just now hitting stores or the SCPH-75001 that has been around for a year remains to be seen.

What's the difference between SCPH-77001 and SCPH-75001? I'm not gonna buy the silver one anyways, just wondering.

I believe the release date for the silver PS2 is October 16th. I'll probably pick one up. I was planning to buy a PS2 soon anyway, and I prefer the look of the silver over black.

It's not like shipping out different colors of PS2 is going to slow down the PS3 manufacturing process at all, since the part they don't have enough of is the blue laser diodes for the Blu Ray drives. If these PS2 models had Blu Ray drives built in then you could complain.

I think it will, because they have to get the guy who's designing the PS3 chips to stop his PS3 work and decide on all of the PS2 colors.
