I paid a bit more than i normally would...however, i can probably sell my dupes to at least break even. I spent $450. It was in chicagoland. :) [edit: i already made back $115 selling a few dupes already]
wow that pretty insane, not sure if $450 is a good deal or not but I couldn't see myself dropping that much on retro games/consoles. But if it's a good deal then great pick up.

Saw this listing and my first thought was "b.s. yeah right" But emailed them they emailed me back said to come pick it up. Just got me a great condition 3DS with charger and stand and COD World at War (original DS game) for $50. I should of offered less because the listing does say "may take a little less" but when someone offers a fantastic deal in the first place, I don't feel right doing that so I just paid them the $50.

I just picked up Lord of the Rings: War in the North (360) Collector's Edition for $20 brand-new. Seller said she received it as a gift but doesn't even have a 360. She wanted $40 but I talked her to down to $20. Score?
My local Half Price Books has a CIB Donkey Kong for SNES, but it's $49.99. Seems too much
They're very hit or miss, either overpriced or under. My last find at my local HPB game related was Star Wars KOTOR 2 for 9.99. I typically walk away with some good reading material each visit, finding a good priced game there is a bonus for me.

wow nice find and yeah same with me if I'm getting an awesome deal or paying exactly how much I was willing to pay I won't haggle on the price

Same goes for me, never haggle down a price that good. I saw a posting for a 3ds the other day along with mario kart for $45 emailed, but no response. Guy probably got 20 emails.

Just scooped up a ps2 and xbox bundle for $40 bucks. turns out the memory card had free mcboot on it as well. pleasant surprise. 35 ps2 games plus console, 11 xbox games, and 25 ps1 disc only a good amount of solid titles in there.

Picked up the following today for $50...when I met up with them, they pulled up in a car w/3 people, all smoking, so I knew I was going to be disappointed in the condition. These will take a little cleaning, but I think I'll be able to do that and then flip them all for a decent profit. Will take pics later.

SNES - Breath of Fire (cart only)
NES - Romance of the Three Kingdoms 2 w/manual
NES - Final Fantasy w/manual
PS1 - Vandal Hearts (complete)
PS1 - Suikoden 2 (complete) :D

Also very nice, Suikoden II.

Seller wanted $20 I offered $40 to take it to me. It was about a 50 minute round trip. Most Labels are good a few have blockbuster labels though.

two people find Suikoden 2 in one day... man... I had a deal worked out for one on Craigslist at $50.00 last month and then the guy backed out last moment. Most disappointed I've ever been with a deal falling through, I've regretted selling my copy for 9 years now...

At least you got a good price. I sold mine for $20.00 because I needed to finish paying off my Wind Waker preorder. Suikoden 2 was my favorite game and I had paid $20.00 for my copy in the first place new at K Mart. I figured I would sell it (a guy I knew wanted to play it) and buy it back later. Didn't realize it was semi valuable at the time. (It was going around 70 at the time and I realized a few days later). I was 15 and just needed the cash.

Had a cool find today. Didn't think i'd get it, but lucked out. Emailed, texted, and called the person by 10 AM (lol I really wanted a DSI XL for myself), especially at this price. No responses or call backs / text.

Called again around 11:45 or so, was told they were at starbucks right now waiting for someone to meet them. But that person hadn't responded within the last hour and she had a bad feeling that the guy was going to flake. I offered to sell to me, and that id leave now. She still said she wanted to wait for that other guy. Said she'd call me around 12:10 if the guy didn't show up.

And, wait for it.. he didn't show up! Was so glad to hear that phone ring rofl.

Games are pokemon black, white, soulsilver, and platinum. Both DSI XL have screen protectors and appear to be good condition.

The blue one, the right top button doesn't spring back up after pressing it. And the black one was dropped and has a large ding lower left corner. But both are functional and work.

Paid $120 for it all. Going to sell the games to recoup most of my money and keep, one or maybe both DSI XL. Might sell my pristine condition DS lite.. but I wanted to keep that one for GBA compatability.

What is the best way to resell? CL or Ebay? BC I've accumalated a lot of stuff over the past month and have not had a ton of success selling stuff too fast on CL.

Got this stuff from CL this weekend:

NES Games
TMNT III: Manhattan Project
Kid Icarus
Star Tropics II- Zoda's Revenge
Crystalis
Donky Kong Jr.
Puss N Boots
Gauntlet
Gauntlet II

Sega Genesis:
Sub-Terrania CIB
Lost Generations CIB
Chuck Rock CIB
Chuck Rock II CIB

Wii
Twilight Princess: Nintendo Selects
Mario Super Sluggers

All for $4.00 :)
I've been looking for Star Tropics 2 for a while. Beat it last night so may go sell it now lol (or add it to my collection).

$15 bucks for a slim ps2 8mb memory card 12 games, killzone godfather sopranos all gtas. Kept a few games and moved the rest of it. Been a good week. Things in nyc are surprisingly hit or miss as far as good deals considering the amount of traffic and listings per day bc some people think there sitting on gold with a copy of madden 97 for snes asking $30...

Bought 2 DS3 and 1 sixaxis controller for $49.

Traded them into GS for $109.20

I also picked up a 2600 and 5 games for $10, but it has no power cord. Only one controller too. So I gotta find one of those to see if it works.
hey guys i need advice. is this a good deal? http://pennstate.craigslist.org/vgm/3276803970.html
If it works and is not beat up, yeah. But only since a lot of people think they are rare and try to sell them for way too much.

If you want one and find a nice one, just buy it. How much cheaper could you find one, $30, $25. Is it worth looking?

here's someone selling a set for $30 http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/vgm/3252509614.html

Some people think that they are worth way more and try and get $80-100 for them. But even on ebay they are cheap, one sold for $5 ($15 shipping) recently with a few games. And that's with ebay/paypal fees.

Finally accumulated two games I've been looking for a long time.

Paid 125 for the following:

Final Fight Guy
Donkey Kong Country 1,2,3
Legend of Zelda: LttP
Clay Fighter: Sculptor's Cut
Legend of Zelda
Metroid

The label on Final Fight Guy is perfect, while Scluptor's Cut has minor tears on the edge of the right side of the label. Finally acquired these two at a decent price, and extremely happy about it. Sad part is I found a copy of Final Fight Guy, Final Fight 2 and 3, BEFORE I found a good copy of Final Fight.

that is a pretty damn good deal.

$115 for the

(my input now, I'd trade all games except the pokemon one to best buy and keep the system. I just don't know anything about nintendo ds models to know if it is worth anything).

IMO no. But do your own research. Too many flippers keep asking senior flippers too much info. At this point I'm realizing its in no interest of mine to share my knowledge as all its doing is bringing in competition.

I truly don't care about the flipping part, more on if a DS lite is even worth keeping at this point in its life cycle (I have a little over 1k in credit at BB, GS and amazon right now, the flipping part doesn't bother me lol. I was flipping games before you joined the site ;) (not trying to be rude in any of this), just never got into newer nintendo games for actually playing.)

You're looking to flip.

If you're not looking to flip you wouldn't ask what's its worth because the answer to that would be whatever you're willing to pay.

I already know the cost/benefit of the system.

$125 for a DS I could trade to amazon for $50 (it comes with the original box and all paperwork). The games I could trade to Best Buy for 16 games for $90 right now with bonuses, and the pokemon game could trade in to amazon or best buy for $16, or ~20 on ebay.

I just don't know in terms of gameplay, battery life, screenwise if its worth $35 for the ds or if I should just pay more for the dsi xl.
^^^Even junk NES games go for $5 each around here.
Same here. The Boston area has a lot of retro gamers who would pay $5 each for the worst games.

Goodwills over here have NES titles $1.99 and up, some even being $4.99 and they always seem to sell within a few days of being out on the floor.

Like new Vita with box, charger, 8GB memory card, Hot Shots Golf, Touch My Katamari, Gravity Rush, and Disgaea 3 for $200. Texting the guy now. Good deal or what?

I got my vita + 4 gig + metal gear + gravity rush + unit 13 + case + screen protector for 160, i traded the games in to BB and got 62 bucks credit, so ended up paying 98 for a vita + case + 4 gig card. I think price is ok, but i would try for lower.

I'm trying to see if he's interested in any trades, but he hasn't texted back in probably 20 minutes. He said the price was firm, but he seems nice so I may try and offer a bit lower. What should I offer? FWIW, I'd probably be selling/trading Hot Shots Golf and Disgaea 3 and keeping everything else.
