A: Since it has been converted to pre-owned, there's no easy way to track down one. Your best bet is to go into your local store and ask if they have it in stock.

For everyone who got the Bioshock Infinite Premium Edition, where are the DLC codes for the digital soundtrack and Xbox Live avatars located in the box? I bought it a few months ago and it was opened. I guess it might not be there. It's the 360 version.

Iirc, it should be between the game case and the lithograph envelope when you first open it, and I'm pretty sure it's not in the game case. Guess someone took yours unfortunately.

 
Just catching up on this thread. I came across Dark souls CEs, one on 360 and one on pc, that had those funky prices on them. I think the 360 was 4x.xx and the Pc version was 57.xx. They both rang up as marked.

 
A manager I've known for years told me at lunch that another wave of conversions is supposed to be coming down today, but he didn't have it yet. Has anyone else heard anything?

Would like to add that the MSstore has X1/360 Watch Dogs LE on sale. I think the 360 sold out at $49.99, but there were some X1 at $44.99. There is a $15 off $50 floating around too.

 
So how are we confirming when games convert?  Is it because in-store they ring as the same price as a used copy of the game, or that inventory of a new copy of the game all of a sudden goes to 0 everywhere, or what?

Nope, went to GS and got the game for about $30 (w/o PUR card) PRE-OWNED. BTW Thank You to this site, the second I saw this post I immediately went to the store to pick myself a copy. BTW you are able to return THE GAME itself and KEEP the LE/CE goodies as long as it shows up PRE-OWNED, I would go to another store or wait for a staff shift though.

 
I thought I was being clever and printed a pre-order slip from a kiosk at BBY for Claptrap for XB1. When the cashier tried to scan it, it said "ineligible item" or the like. After several attempts and a manager helping it was determined I was not that clever.

You could try a web pre-order at GS. It is no money down and it will show up on your pre-order list. I don't know how to do it but I know you can. It will not get you a copy BUT you could make something up about how you were informed that this was a guaranteed pre-order from a GS employee. Another alternative is to ask a GS employee to contact (via email) inventory and ask for an extra copy of whatever CE/LE you want, in most cases they will special order one extra copy.

Conversions occur randomly but when they do they always fall on a Thursday, the NEW item is now PRE-OWNED and the CE/LE sku is no longer available just the regular game price.
 
Has anyone seen MK:CE for a good price or South Park (both PS3)? I looked through my local GS, no go...but there are two that are fairly far away I can also check if there've been any sightings lately.

Also, sorry for the novo question; but does anyone feel that the gamestop powerup rewards PRO card (or whatever they call it) is worth the money if I mainly plan on purchasing strictly PS4 games in the future?? Or is best buy's GCU better? Thanks a ton gents.
 
I was hyped to see Borderlands 2 GOTY convert until I saw that they keep it a separate, more expensive, SKU when it is used.  AC:BF CE is interesting so I'll look around if I get a chance.  Thanks for the info!

Strange, im still showing multiple stores in diff states that say its available for pickup new. Generally when stuff converts it drops off the locator since it is no longer new.

Glitch in the Matrix.

A couple months after the Gears 3 Epic Edition converted there was a store in NYC that showed it as in stock.

Just screwed up systems.

 
Fun fact, Gamestop usually has marketing at the beginning and end of the month (usually Sundays) which means they get rid a lot of the posters on display. Some are generous enough to give them away, use it as an incentive for a pre-order, throw it away OR just keep it for themselves, so if you are looking you can always ask.

"BUY NEW" "NOT AVAILABLE" I saw that myself so I imagine there was a delay on updating the site.
