I think maybe you're just a Japan hater like Temp.
Negative. I like Naruto. And I even liked Rise of a Ninja.

It's pretty much decided that I'm getting a trailblazer, now we just have to find one. Anything wrong with this car that I should know about?
Wasn't BIA $17.99 on Black Friday?
No idea. I know I got it for $9.99 through an Amazon Gold Box sale event though.

Nerd!

I don't hate all Japanese games. I love the Resident Evil and Parasite Eve series as well as Phoenix Wright and Katamari Damacy. So thur!
True, Rocko. I guess that's the price (literally) for naming your price instead of doing an auction
You could do a fixed price listing on eBay. But it doesn't stay up indefinitely. They have slashed the insertion fee which is nice. (Coupled with that they ballooned the FVF...)

When I fooled with it more I used Half for stuff I wasn't too motivated to sell and would set a highesh price. Every now and then something would sell for a crazy price.

So there's a problem playing Serious Sam on my 360.

It takes me to a generic Xbox screen, and I can hear a little noise that means a box asking me to download an update has popped up, but I can't see the box and pressing buttons does nothing.

When I open the disc try I see that mos asking me to DL an update for an instant, then it goes away and takes me to the dashboard.

So how the hell can I play the game if it won't let me DL an update?
I'm about to through my Outrun up for 35, effectively undercutting even most of the used prices.
I'd also get :bomb: at sellers that would do that when I fooled with it more.

A handful of sellers all chasing the bottom and before you know it the game's going price is cut in half.

take your xbox offline?
I dunno, you got any other suggestions?
Perhaps you'd like Maurice Blanchot's Death Sentence. Absolutely nothing happens.

I have many diapers. Most of them, clean."

Did you like it even though nothing happened?

I looked around, and I can't seem to find much more about it than it's title.

This OTT title is false.

Unless you include the large flightless bird gaming.

Picked up a Gripshift and a Logitech Cordless Precision Xbox1 controller for $7 each.

I love the book, but it's definitely not for most people. It's definitely more of an intellectual exercise than a compelling narrative. I wrote a nice little paper on it in my undergrad days. Basically, it's a book that exists because there is no such thing as perfect expression (i.e. language is insufficient to describe experience).

Hm... I will probably check it out then. At 82 pages, it shouldn't take long to read and ponder.

By any chance, have you ever read Roadside Picnic?

What was that song that brak posted awhile ago that the music video shows the band in the studio and it starts off with the one dude dinkin' on a xylophone?

Eucalyptus sounds familiar.

Ok should have just searched before asking.
Finished it. The parallels to the events of his life that he describes in the afterword are pretty fascinating.
Damn, you a speed reader!

I have not.

Which/What book Liquid?

EDIT: You must read that book BSB. It can be a bit hard to follow at times, but it is excellent.
legit question: What are some good retail PS3 games out right now other than Valkyria Chronicles, LBP, and MGS4?
Ratchet & Clank

Well, I played the first level of both I-Ninja and Serious Sam and they both played fine (both discs are scratched to hell) so I guess I should be good with 'em.

I can't believe the condition of the discs. I mean, I look at my games I sell on eBay and they look brand new. I don't see how anyone can get a disc as bad as some of these without deliberately fucking with it.

"Story of the Eye," budge.
Damn, you a speed reader!
47 pages in an hour and a half? I could do better.

edit: I guess these are 8.5x11 PDF pages as opposed to folded-in-half-book pages, though. I dunno, I've always read quickly.

I paid 12 dollars for Resistance earlier this week and it has kind of surprised me. It actually isn't that bad of a game. That and Heavenly Sword are the two games that I would recommend getting on the cheap.

I'll put it on my list. This semester is bad for extra reading (my grad class is a book a week and I'm teaching two classes), but I'll hopefully get to it eventually.
Ok cool. I'm about to post up my tradelist.
Is it really that short? Huh. Must be formatting. My copy is 97 pages, plus a couple for the afterword, etc..

Well, the book is fairly short. But it is a slow read, because it can be really complex at times.
Don't join the creepys Budge.
Yeah, I won't be reading Story of the Eye. That is just too screwed up for me.

EDIT: Do you have a suggestion for a good place to get eBooks Liquid? Or anyone else for that matter. PM me if necessary.

Shut up Casey. Heavenly Sword was weak and you can eat a dick for saying you enjoyed it more than God of War.
I dunno, I've always read quickly.
The only down-side to me being used to being a quick reader is that it absolutely DOES NOT work when reading philosophy. I know what needs to be done for me to fully understand my philosophy texts, but I'm always reluctant to sit down and take 2 hours to read 20 or so pages to really understand them. :/

I lucked out last semester because the intro class was kind of a joke (the material we touched on was all interesting, but god, the assignments and tests were absurdly easy), so I never had to resort to what's really necessary--slow reading--so I hope I can pick it up/get in the habit somewhat easily.
