We appreciate you helping keep this thread up to date. The sales change virtually every day so no one person has the time to update them all. If you notice a game is no longer on sale, feel free to delete its line from the sale list. Of course, if you see a game is on sale, add it to the list. Make sure your changes match the thread's format! For example, every game that's on sale is part of an unordered list. When adding a game to the list, copy an existing line and update the link, title, and prices. That way, the format stays correct. Do not list percentages off! We list the original price and the sale price here. If you have any suggestions for major changes to the post/thread, PM me (EastX) about them.

What is a CD key and where can I find it?

The CD Key is a serial number with a combination of 13, 18, or 25 letters and numbers - it can be found on a sticker inside your game's case or printed on the game's quick reference card.
The CD Key acts as your proof of purchase for the game - Steam Support may ask for it if you need to establish your ownership of an account. It is recommended that you keep your CD Key in a safe place to ensure the security of your account.

Although, I noticed Capcom usually puts one or two games on sale at a time. So while there may be sales around the new year, I bet this one won't be discounted.

I'm pretty sure (though not 100%) that the answer is no. It's an older game and it's not steamworks. So unless there was a specific deal to get steam keys (like Tony has been able to do over at Amazon) it almost certainly wont redeem on steam.

It's worth noting though, that it's often been said that the only Painkiller game that is worth owning is Painkiller Black. The rest are varying shades of God-Awful. I can't speak from personal experience, because Painkiller games aren't really my sort of thing. But I've heard it said every time that the games come up for sale that everything except Painkiller Black is pure crap.

just picked up a 20 steam card, im gonna get Hotline Miami but not sure what else to get. anything 10 or 13 bucks thats awesome? Oh and theres a 4 pack for Painkiller: Hell and Damnation so how much would that come out to if i did a group buy? $12?

Finally picked up Left 4 Dead 2. I know it seems to go on sale pretty often, but I never got around to getting it. So there's free DLC with the steam version, right? Is that just included when you download or do you need to download additional content files?

It's a good thing I'm a CAG - I know the art of waiting patiently for something that may never arrive.

It's included. In fact, if for some reason you didn't want the DLC, you wouldn't be able to avoid downloading it.

2K13 took like 14 hours to finally go active on Steam, it doesn't even have all the features, is already a month late and it was pre-order lol.

Hoping GameTap has a good sale from now until 12/31 so I can use this survey coupon. Dead Island GOTY for $5 woulda been good. Darkness II for $5 looks mighty good too

That dire looking game Clan of Champions is actually by Acquire. Which explains how inept it seems. It is ineptly configured as it looks but is still playable. It's a sequel to the Gladiator game on PSP which I think was a sequel to Colosseum Road to Freedom on PS2. Same combat mechanics. Naturally, even at that ridiculous price I couldn't resist because I love Acquire, as freakishly stupid as they are.

11.66 GB is the game itself. 23.33 GB is the game rendered in bullet time.
 
It's 35 gb because it's more cutscenes and jibber jabber than gameplay.

And they're all unskippable because the game claims to be loading during them when it obviously isn't loading jack.

My Acquire fanboyism led me to buy Clan of Champions and I don't think I like it all that much. The same combat of the delightful PSP gladiator game but without any of the soul. It's just MH style sort of "Please invite friends?" grinding based rather than the branching paths pseudo-VN of that gladiator game whose name escapes me.

Who here bought the Saints Row The Third Franchise Pack during the summer sale? Did it include the Horror Pack?

I know that the Franchise Pack didn't include the Genki Girl Pack & the Unlockable Pack, but I was also under the impression that there was another bit of DLC that wasn't included because it hadn't been released on Steam at that point. According to the horror pack's page on steam, it came out the day after the summer sale ended.

Yet somebody over on SPUF just told me that it was included in the pack. I'm skeptical, so I thought I'd ask here if somebody could check their DLC list for the game to see if the horror pack is listed.
 
I did horror pack is listed on DLC tab(not played the game...).. At the time far i know Horror Pack was not listed as part of 'Franchise Pack'...
 
Thanks for the reply. So it sounds like you got the horror pack even though it wasn't initially listed as being included. Sounds like that guy was right then.

Oh and it occurs to me now that I could have simply instructed people to go to the horror pack page and see if they had the green "you own this" bar. Probably would have been slightly easier than checking the DLC content listing. But, whatever. It looks like I got my answer.

EDIT: Does anybody who bought the franchise pack wanna click on the Genki Girl pack and verify that it's not included? I figure if they threw the Horror Pack in even though it came out afterwards, there is a chance that they also threw in the Genki Girl pack as well.

You DO get the Horror Pack, you DO NOT get Ghenki Girls with the Franchise Pack. The Unlockable pack came out after the Franchise Pack was released, and that along with Ghenki Girls is all you need to add to have all DLC.

I still have the pack in my inventory, and since I don't think I'm gonna get to it anytime soon, I've been thinking of just selling it off. I would need to list all the stuff it didn't include if I do decide to sell it and I couldn't remember want was excluded.

If I do decide to keep it though, I'm glad that the unlockable pack isn't included. That would kinda ruin the game IMO.

I'm afraid its a loosing effort. Most people just don't really care to pay attention to there grammar. Posts like his just won't have an affect.

It's interesting that I was able to completely overlook those and focus on affect. I didn't even notice, until you pointed them out but affect stuck out like a sore thumb.
