For the CAG'ers who are keeping track of your purchases across Steam, Desura, Amazon, GMG, Gamefly, etc what are you using? I am leaning toward using a spreadsheet hosted in Skydrive.
That's what I do but in Google Drive.

Bought the older TR games, I bought all of them for my husband last year, so I could just play on his PC, but damn, 60 cents each, I couldn't NOT buy them

Good examples, especially the one about Susie. Irony is deeply rooted in context and expectations. So by elaborating on a situation we can create irony out of it. For example:

Psydero was assured after contacting Steam support, that he would not receive a Tomb Raider card from purchasing Tomb Raider games. Gabe Newell contacted him directly, and assured him that Tomb Raider cards would not be dropped from purchasing $10 worth of Tomb Raider games. It was an impossibility.

Psydero was dying for a Tomb Raider card. So before purchasing the game, he idled for every card drop in his other games. He crafted every badge possible. He bought hundreds of dollars of other games --far more than he intended to spend this sale-- to get that card. Nothing. The very last day of the Summer Sale Psydero broke down and bought the Tomb Raider pack... and that drop gave him a Tomb Raider card.

Same coincidence, but the specifics of the situation are what make it ironic, not the coincidence itself.
That's not irony, that's getting
shaq-fu%2196.gif
'd.

Someone just listed the first Zombie Gunner foil at $2.45, but I used up my wallet funds buying cheap cards to resell already; as I was adding more funds to my wallet to cover the remainder, someone else bought it. :( I guarantee the new listing is going to be from Idiot, for about $5. :p

Anyone play Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army? Looks kinda fun...

I'm a sucker for zombies (and sniping - bad luck for me, I know).

Surprised that they still haven't fixed the Tomb Raider classics "price mistake". Could it be that it's not actually a mistake? Seems odd that they would have all the older games except Legend at 91% off.

Yeah, it could be not a mistake - I figured they would've fixed it by now.

If it isn't a mistake - maybe they (Valve, Square Enix/Eidos, and Crystal Dynamics) want everyone going TR crazy. ;)

Yes. I play it and I love it. I was so happy to see it get cards. I love it enough that I'll probably craft a badge for it.

It's mindless zombie killing fun with neat killcams, sound controls, and good graphics. It's a great co-op experience and I even like it singleplayer.

It's a lot like Left4Dead with better mechanics and graphics.

Back at E3 I traded in all my 360 stuff for a PS4 mostly due to their anti-consumer views and even though they've done a 180 I still refuse to support them but today I realized something I now no longer have a wired 360 controller and they're like $35!
Newegg has the wired controller for $25 shipped but it appears to be currently OOS:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826105438

+ $10 off w/ promo code EMCXNWW79, ends 7/17

Anyone know if they fixed all the screwy bugs/problems with age of empires 2 hd on steam?

Contemplating biting during this sale assuming its not still a complete mess

what he said, just fun.

I finally got my first booster pack and it ends up being skyrim. Ive listed it, but steam tells me its listed, while if you search for the skyrim booster, it doesn't show up.  Any ideas? I know some folks were having this issue before, but I dont remember if they resoved it or the cards still sold.  Anyone that could lend me a hand.  Should be a skyrim booster listed for sale under praehard, or medicranma, I forget which is my steam name. lol

It'll show up eventually, there's just massive lag. Makes proper pricing a bitch though, because by the time yours actually posts a dozen other people will also post. Boosters are rarer than regular cards though, so might not be as much of an issue. Think my last card actually showed up about half an hour after I listed it.

Tired of Ubisoft's absurd cheapness. I'm not buying anything from them until they realize that 66% off on something that's been out more than 2 years is unacceptable.

Figures, I thought that what it was. Oh well. Thanks for replying.

Hey. Anyone able to help me out with a Borderlands 2 4 Pack? I'm stuck on a cell phone for a few day with no PC access. I need 2 copies. So really I need two others to go in on it. And someone to pull the trigger. I'll get PayPal out as soon as I get an email. Just send me a PM.

So I have finally played all the games I own that have cards and now have 17 cards in my inventory waiting for me to decide:

Should I try to sell them now (all going around 15 cents or so after fees)

or

Should I hold off and see if the price goes up

I was planning on holding and waiting, but the prices have been pretty static for some of them for almost 2 days now. Only 3 are cards that I didn't already own the game before TCG were announced, so its all free money

Nothing so far for me today, which is a good thing. Might grab a few cosmetic pieces of dlc from BL2 that I was on the fence about the other day. Least I can refill my steam wallet a bit with all these new cards.

No point selling cards anymore, at least not right now, to me. Ive been crafting instead cause they are cheap to buy. Trying to trade my dupes instead of selling, as well.

BTW I have a Tomb Raider dupe and 2 summer sale dupes if anyone wants to trade!

I keep getting tempted to craft as well, but I'd rather sell them and maybe be able to get another game or two. Just don't see the worth in crafting them as of yet. Maybe if there was the chance of free random game I might be inclined to try my luck.

Greetings Gents, I was just going to throw my two cents out there, and get my fellow cags opinons on how I did for this steam sale. First, I do wanna say,

Mr. NinjaSquirrel, Thanks for keeping the OP updated, and for the tips. Althought I didn't follow all of the OP suggestion I think I did pretty decent.

Well, Lets recap the damage I've done so far...

Just Cause 2 @ 2.99

Bionic Commando Rearmed @ 2.49

Sonic Hits Price Glitch @ 7.49

Legend of Grimrock @5.09  ( I know this has been cheaper, but I played it at a friends house and figured what the heck .)

Puzzle Quest @ 2.49

Sniper Elite Zombie @ 5.09

Hitman Absolution @ 6.24

Last Remnant @3.39

Endless Space + Expac 11.89

FTL @ 2.49

Grand total of 50 dollar or so. Not including purchasing about 1.00 worth of just cause dlc, and finishing the skyrim and bastion badges, because I throughly loved both games.

Not bad for only having about 35 dollars in my steam wallet at the start.  So What you guys think?  not a bad haul? or did I make a mistake somewhere.

I have Idiotekque and MysterD dupes that I'd trade for those.

Yeah, I can. I just don't want to have to carve up the 4 pack by phone. Good question. Not having said that at first might have made me sound kind of fishy.

I just pinged my buddy about this, so I may be able to host the deal. Stand by.Edit: You can't run the Steam mobile app?

Was waiting for AOE 2: HD to show up. Got it for $4 something after card credit.

Purchases thus far: Surgeon Sim, Bully: Scholarship Edition, and AOE: HD

I'm so hoping Torchlight 2 falls to $5.

Depressing to go from scouring the beautiful affordability of the steam sale to, yet again, looking for a decent controller to use. Don't like my PS3 controller for PC anymore and the Microsoft ones are so stupid expensive. If someone made a good XInput supported PC controller for like $20, they could have all my babies forever until the end of time.

Used 360 controller from GameStop? I got mine for about $20

It's been awhile since I've owned an Xbox 360 controller, but I remember them being very flimsy after a year or two of use. Bumpers broke the easiest and after that the analog sticks started to drift off center and face buttons started sticking.

I feel very leery of buying a used controller.
