I think the Autumn sales (Amazon/Steam) tricked my easy-to-spend GabeN & Amazon credits this year. Just tallied up my total and I'm feeling kind of nauseous. But hey! What's a sale if nobody buys anything? :dunce:

On another note, I bought the latest Humble Bundle BTA just to see what "More games coming soon!" might reveal. :whee:

and we think it's time to finally let everyone in on the big secret: Today, we are proud to announce
that the Just Cause 2 Multiplayer mod has been officially integrated with Steam!
 
We will be releasing the mod on Steam this month and we will be holding our final beta test onDecember 7th.
If everything goes as planned, the test should run for the entire week until the 14th of December;
after that, we will make some final changes and release the client and server for everyone to enjoy.

Nice, I had been wanting to play this but kept missing the beta tests.

 
The real problem is that the Mafia 2 DLC isn't discounted.. I wanted to get Betrayal of Jimmy from Jake.. ugh.

bummer, I was going to ask if the Russian-only dlc was on sale. It's the only one I don't have. Gotta catch em all.
 
I farmed Dungeonland as my 125th card droppable game and finally received my first foil card and it's already cheaper than I would have expected.

I've still got 19 games with 72 cards to drop. Gotta go farm more.

Everytime I've checked the spreadsheet all of them have been used. Wouldn't be surprised to see some reddit assholes stealing all the keys each time like they did when Tony tried posting keys.

 
Shit I screwed up the Grid 2 Facebook contest for the second time. Can anyone give me tips? I read that you need to get 2:45 and that clicking the last pic at 2:30 will get you that time. I clicked then but came out with 2:36 final time. Fuuuuu-

It depends on day.

I'd wait until exact time you want then press last and ctrl+tab to next tab (This freezes clock, unless they fixed that).

 
Theres two new steam games out today that were in bundles, Finding Teddy and Postmortem. steam keys should arrive for those prolly later this week.

what do you mean by "press last" and do I change tabs back to the game immediately after switching? Do I have to use chrome, I've been using Firefox.

I have used both Firefox and Chrome successfully.

Last image you have to find.

You switch back after it loads next page. (iirc. Icon on tab changes when it start loading next page)

I just tried that. Apparently you can Ctrl+tab the whole time because I put up a 53 second time. Definitely won't get accepted, though. But that's a good idea, to do that to just barely beat the times already posted. I think the fastest is 2:43 right now.

Getting very fast time doesn't work. I tried for days.

Then one certain day I got very high time (Since I had to guess where to click, images were wrong) and sure enough got the key.

I tired getting the lower time for over a week, then I read about the cheat method - changing to a different tab stops the clock on chrome - a couple weeks ago. So I was then getting ridiculously low times & not winning.

Then I read that winners were getting times between 2:47 & 3:03 somewhere (probably here) & realized this is super easy to do by playing the first 2 portions of the race "the right way" and then clicking all over the last bit until you get to 2:40 or so, then finishing that section and changing tabs @ 2:47.

Won my code the first time I tried it & never went back since I was annoyed the only way to "win" was to do it backwards & cheat.

I then idled the game for cardz and never played it.. lol
