It's not highlighted on the sale page but Hate Plus is also $4.99 by itself which is the lowest price to date.

 
I should have listed my Titanfall beta Origin key for more

I just sold mine for 35 dollars on ebay

anyone that has no interest in playing and wants to make a few quick bucks on ebay I'd list it for more than 35.  Mine sold within an hour of me listing it.

Also, just to toss my opinion out there, Rust > DayZ in almost every aspect except graphics. It's not the prettiest game, but it's very polished and a TON of fun to play. I've been going solo since I started playing and I can't get SHIT done without being raided by a group of assholes (as it should be)! :p

That sounds just like DayZ. There's no zombies in Rust is there? That automatically loses that argument.

Love has cards now. I finished it on desura before it was greenlit.. just finished it on Steam and I have 2 card drops remaining. Takes 25 minutes to finish, probably about 40 minutes if you include "LoveCustom" which doesn't launch properly from Steam yet.

Nice. Thanks for that. By the way I got both those Fallouts now. Thanks to those that helped me with my question. I also ended up getting both Witcher games and Postal 2. Now my Valentines Day will be spent watching a Steam download screen all day.

Hmmm... Hate Plus has been on my wish list and I haven't seen it less than 4.99 before...

I enjoyed the previous game quite a bit but for some reason I'm not as stoked about this one. 

Does anyone have any opinion on Hate Plus?

Don't quite know if my Harddrive can handle all the action it's getting right now plus playing Skyrim. It might self destruct. I'm also watching Carlmundo's stream. Actually after the stream I'm going back to playing Persona 4 while it all downloads.

I too just beat it in 25 minutes and two more drops needed. Very easy to crank this out as one of your 4 of March.

I liked it better personally. There's some changes like having hyperlinks whenever a character's name is mentioned that take you to a page with a picture (in realistic style) and a background of who that person is. It's a minor touch but it help me keep track of all the various names and to visualize them and their role in the story.


There's 3 separate paths you can go through, one for Hyun-ae, one for Mute and one for both. They're all a bit different in tone. You'll probably want to play through it 3 times.

Another added feature is that the AI this time is actually sort of looking over your shoulder and comments on the diaries and documents as you read instead of waiting for you to show it to them. It makes a difference and helps a bit on the 2nd and 3rd run throughs you do on the alternate paths because even though the entries are the same the reactions you get may be different.

It's a bit adult in places but I think it's done well and fits with the world. Overall it does a good job with giving the background of just how the ship reverted to the state it was in when you found it in Analogue.

If you liked the first game I personally would recommend this one and found it to be an improvement on that formula.

One last thing is the Level Four Revive Materia achievement is unattainable so don't even bother trying for it. It was (presumably) done as a sort of meta reference to the whole internet rumor mill surrounding the revive Aeris thing with FF7 and I think Christine Love was trying to bother refer to that and recreate it. She seems to have succeeded doing that to a degree since they're a long thread about it with all sorts of theories and even people decompiling the game code. Some people made a mod about it too.

Oh and there's an achievement that entails actually baking a cake in real life and sending a picture of it Christine Love, and yes it's for real.

I really hate games with achievements that can't be unlocked, either because the dev is lazy or because they think it's "Meta". The Stanley Parable did this too. :(

It didn't bother me really, but it pissed some other people off greatly so I just wanted to put that out there to be clear so someone didn't get blind sided by it and have a conniption fit over a game I recommended.

I think it's just a necklace. It shows up in the item store as 0 points.

FWIW you don't even have to go into the game to get it, you can get it from the Secret World item store via the web.

I actually enjoyed it for both. The gameplay worked well in conjunction with the setting/story. Made intense moments more intense.

The DLC is really just more story but did add in a few cool parts where you could make bandits and infected fight each other.

I love singles awareness day. I just got the first "Welcome to Love" Foil from the game Love. That's a first. So now I have the opportunity to set the ridiculous value for the over-priced foil market. I'm tempted to go crazy or maybe I'll just stick to the norm of being somewhat unreasonable with pricing.

I doubt anyone's going to buy my "Love" but if someone wanted to it only costs $10 $6.40 $2.60?  :D eh eh?
