When I order online it shows X price for in store, but changes to Y price at checkout, what gives?
You can only do in store pickup for the clearance price if the item is available for pick up that day. If it isn't the price will be the online price instead. Sometimes the item will be shipped to that store if it is no longer at that store. It may adjust to the clearance price at pickup but it could also charge you full price for it.

Can I buy the item at one store and return / rebuy at another?
Yes but it is up to the stores discretion to allow you to get it for that stores in store price. If it is an online order, they are supposed to return it to the warehouse it came from so you will not be able to buy it back. It's YMMV on employees following this rule though.

Can I price match a Walmart clearance item at X store?
No. No store, including Walmart, PMs clearance prices. YMMV on getting PMs for these items but it is against every stores policy to do so.

I want to price match this clearance item at another Walmart, will they allow me to?
No WM (or any retailer) PMs the prices of other local stores.

BS said X of an item is in stock, but the employee said it isn't at my store, why did they lie to me?
They didn't. Sometimes items are misplaced, stolen, or the count is off. Employees are not all over the massive stock room nor do they know where every item is. Don't harass an employee or come on here saying they are keeping it for themselves. Sometimes, an item truly isn't in the store.

Why is BS always wrong?
BS is not wrong. Their information is directly from WM systems. Just like all stores, inventory and prices may be wrong for a certain store. Do not rely only on BS.

How do I find clearance items?
Go to the store and scan items, check SD, check this thread. Actually look for something you want.

Where in the store are clearance games located?

Clearance items in general can be on shelves, in dedicated clearance sections or in the stock room. For games specifically, they will be in the videogame glass cases, videogame value game isle or dedicated clearance section. It's random and depends on that stores layout / management.

What is the SKU or item number of this item?
Look it up yourself. There is a search function on this site, on BS site and you can Google the item almost 100% of the time. No one needs to spoon feed you this information and we shouldn't have 20 people asking for the same information that was already posted.

Acronyms to know.
WM = Walmart
PM = Price Match
TRU = Toysrus
BS = Brickseek
SD = Slickdeals

Anyone interested in an almost 10-year old DSLR new in box? A Nikon D40 kit popped up on a clearance table near me for $160. Doesn't even have a SKU, just a yellow sticker tag.
I'd pass on this camera just because I don't think it has video capabilities and also only is 6.1 megapixels for images. Save your money.

I saw that $18 battery pack there too. I was really surprised to find these $6 packs because the walmarts near me never have any good clearance. Just extremely overpriced clearance crap. I also the halo controller in there clearance section, but rung up $69.88. A whole 12 cents off.

I picked it up at $12 a few weeks back. Was checking for another one yesterday and noticed they had replaced it with a two battery package for $18

(Sorry if this has already been posted).

Picked up two Acer 24" HD monitors for $40 each at the local Walmart.

Item number (for brickseek): 45913241

Link for reference: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Acer-S240HL-Abd/45913241

They didn't have them out at my store - I had to ask and they checked stock in back.  The number they used to look up inventory is 552917251.

Note that the monitor doesn't have HDMI input.

Kinda disappointed I can't find stuff like this at my local Walmart. They have about two shelves of video games, and you'll have trouble finding most current gen stuff. Their last gen stock pretty much got wiped last Black Friday when the Batman games and a few others were $8 each.

Not clearance, but the PS4 500gb Disney infinity 3.0 bundle is marked down to $300. It's odd in that it includes Rise of the Empire which is the original trilogy version, but not Twilight of the Republic which is basically in every other starter kit.

Zune HD 16GB $85-$110 12029444

Also the North Huntington PA store appears to have dropped the SL1 to $30, but is OOS
Hahaha. I need to check my receipt and see if I can do another price adjust, lol.

And it looks like someone finally found the last one in that store if it's showing OOS now. At least I got mine.

EDIT: Gah, 15 days return/exchange on cameras, did my last price adjust on 6/1. I guess $65 is good enough.

EDIT #2: That Zune is mighty tempting, but I don't know if I'm going to feel up to the drive to Blairsville on a limited stock gamble. I was just out that way on Sunday, if I had only known...

Any way to find out if this is at my local store?

i found a shelf of clearance amiibos and similar figures, didn't check the shelf price because the stickers probably aren't accurate anyways, but do those flip to anywhere?

For the record the Zune HD is awesome. I use mine all the time still! (used it yesterday while I drove around Pittsburgh!)

Finally got my hands on the $40 monitor. Cashier had to check to make sure it was priced right. There were 2 left in South Haven MI although she said she was going to get one for herself.

Thanks for the heads up! I was able to get one. I just tested it out with a few games of Overwatch, its legit

Hope she knows it doesn't have an HDMI input, only VGA and DVI.

Does anyone know the inventory # for the older version of the Razer Black Widow keyboard. It was selling for $19.99. Thanks
The only one I can find is 36706663, but 'round here they are either $50.00 or $109.99 so I'm not sure that's right.

.

I'm glad my local stores don't have that monitor, I'm already stocking up on monitors for the apocalypse so I don't need more...

If I didn't just find an HP 2711x for $10 at goodwill a few months ago, I'd be all over that Acer. For being 5 years old, this monitor is amazing.

Stop trying to tempt me! I have a free day, fiance is at work and my youngest is at preschool and it's payday. Must. fight. the. urge!

logitech performance mx mouse was being sold for 20 $ at my local store.   did not see it listed on brickseek though .   13021177

I know this is In-Store Clearance thread, but there doesn't seem to be a different Walmart-only thread, so I wanted to ask here what people thought of online third party marketplace sellers. Asking because there are some okay prices on some "refurbished" Wii U bundles from a certain 3rd party retailer. For example, Wii U Mario Kart 8 Bundle (Refurbished) for $211.XX.

So marketplace sellers, safe? Yes? No? Would it come with the bundled game? Would Walmart step in if they wouldn't honor their return policy, like Amazon would? TIA

Pretty sure they've caught on now. The two stores near me sold out of the 43", which was the only one that reflected that price. The others all showed up at normal prices throughout all 15 or so stores that showed up on brickseek. And the website shows the higher prices, so price-matching is out too. :(

There was nothing to catch onto. Those are the actual clearance prices. There was no glitch ont he system though some employees will spit that at people.

Walmart severely discounts older model electronics when it's time for this year's models to be put on display / be sold. Everything year they get to 90% off at majority of stores regardless of stock numbers.

The deal is technically not over since there will still be stores that have these electronics. I just left a store that had a router for for $15 that is normally $100.

A few of my stores have those prices for TVs, but they are OOS (I would be shocked otherwise).  I have one store near me that has had a inventory discrepancy recently (FM6 :xb1: console shows online 1, has 2, and H5 :xb1: console shows online 0, has 1), so if that store shows the clearanced price for any of those I might mozy that way if they show 0 stock. :)

I saw the empty rack at my local store but forgot to look up the item number so I could search other nearby stores. Anyone have the correct ID?
sure, google this:

xbox 360 500gb hard drive walmart

It's the first result.

On the topic of TVs- I'm not ready to entertain the thought of a return/rebuy with the prices in my area. But I did score this Sharp 50" 4k that dropped to $274 (a few days ago) in one of only 25 Walmarts in my area. Was able to buy online and pickup that day so I received a refund of the difference.

While I was picking up I tried a few others and that was a serious lesson in Walmart futility. The electronics guy was using the APP to verify stock. I'm thankful he actually went into the back and looked. Could have been worse.

I went looking for those tv's like 2 weeks ago and couldn't find any. Now the SD posts has added more since I last looked and afew show in stock on brickseek and the Walmart app but not on Walmart website. Im sure they are gone by now but I might give it a shot later.
