What companies use the SLOW DHL/USPS Hybrid for their standard shipping service?

For whatever reason this service (DHL---> USPS) is much slower then the UPS/USPS hybrid or straight up Media Mail or Parcel Post.

I hate it because it takes forever and the delivery updates are NOT accurate.

I know that unless I upgrade DeepDiscount uses this service (Surprise Surprise).

Often times if shoprunner isn't available and I buy from Newegg and they ship from California then I get this service.

And this is also the service that my Groupon video game orders ship (Do we know who they have been partnering up with for their video game deals)?

Anyways this service sucks donkey balls and I am going to avoid participating in deals that use it.
 
NewEgg has used it in the past for me. Resulted in a nightmare where my item never delivered, but the tracking said it had. It eventually showed up, but took an extra week or so.
 
I've gotten packages from Amazon, Buy.com (or whatever they are now), Best Buy, and NewEgg that use USPS Innovations. I'm fairly sure I had a package from Overstock using that method too.

This is some DHL Global Mail / USPS crap. And don't get confused by the words "global mail" they are domestic shipments.

They take forever. At least 7 business days.

FedEx SmartPost is the same thing, save FedEx Ground in place of UPS.

DHL used to be a global shipping carrier back in the day, though now they're doing the same thing as FedEx SmartPost and UPS MI.

The only thing that delays the shipments with SmartPost and MI is the point where it's handed off to the USPS. It takes 1-2 days to get from the local UPS or FedEx sorting hub to the local USPS sorting hub, then 1-2 days to get to the local USPS office for your ZIP code, then 1-2 days to get to you.

I normally get the 1 day transitions from the three steps above, so it's usually 5-6 days to get something to me via SmartPost or MI. Though, since DeepDiscount is in Chicago and I'm down in St. Louis, they usually just media mail ship items to me rather than the other options listed i here.
