Yeah, and you've got to have at least 100 points to get them awarded. So, that's 5 months. Plus another month to queue your points to "pending" status, and then another month before you actually get them. So, 7 months for 80 cents worth of MS points.
I've easily spent $400 on Microsoft's stuff since the reward program launched in December. I've received a measly 750 points since then. I have an additional 260 points that just went to pending status, but won't get them until next month.
Microsoft hands out stuff to silver members all the time for doing nothing. Us gold members can rot for all they care.
If they truly wanted to be a real reward program, they'd give you points, INSTANTLY, for every single purchase, with the rewards on a sliding scale, so that for the more you spend the higher the points you'd get. Heck, most reward programs I've been in usually award between 5 and 10 percent of your purchase.
And yes, I realize they don't have to do crap for us. They are pretty near that now.
