What holds you back on purchasing a new console?

There is a high percentage of PlayStation 4 players not leaving it behind. PlayStation 5 is selling pretty well, but the game attach rate is lower than previous generation. Many people aren't seeing the reason for moving up, upgrading or buying a new console like PS5...

Sony found new ways to milk their own stagnant formula of 3rd person action adventure games: just remaster them. You know what they say when the band starts putting out greatest hits. . .

More freedom on PC, also if your console gets banned for whatever reason it turns into a brick from what I understand. There's a huge catalogue of older titles you can keep playing on modern hardware, PC exclusives, an insane amount of mods for games etc. With consoles you get the "luxury" of paying for online multiplayer... I'm on mobile so I'll leave it there lol.
