So within the past 2 days BOTH of my xbox's took a turn down the crapper.. One of them doesnt play any video(don't remember if it doesn't do sound but whatever) and the other one RROD.... Is there any way to home fix the one that doesnt play video so i can send my other one off. And will I have to pay to get them fixed since i dont think either of them are still in warrenty?

if you are using hdmi cables, maybe the port went up, if you are using component cables, same thing. maybe try the other cable and see what happens

it's the same cable for both of the xbox, just the a/v that switches between hdtv/regular tv. i'm trying it now but if it's the same, idk... is the 140$ repair fee thing if you have no warrenty thing true?

Get em reflowed (between 39-50 $) or you can get them swapped for fixed working units for around 60 $ plus shipping. Beats a hundred or more from MS since if they are out of warranty it will be more, possibly way more, than that. Check around and you will find it on evilbay.

the one without the RROD boots up, i can turn a controller on and it seems like it does everything but show on the screen? i tried both hdmi and regular tv connect. No sound or anything. reflowing sounds like a temporary fix..?
