Wtf? People actually like Butterfingers?

So with Halloween just passing, my friend and I were debating what the worst candy way, and I said that Butterfingers were high on the list. He, however, says that Butterfingers are awesome and then when we asked two other people, both said that Butterfingers rocked...

Please, someone confirm that the majority of people still have taste buds that function properly.
 
I never liked them when I was younger, but I love them now. Maybe you just need to try one again and see if you like it now.
 
butterfingers are damn good candy especiallu in icecream. payday however sucks.zero bars taste like ass too. and i hate kit kats. best candy ever is the peanut butter cup. and chocolate turtles.


reiji is right though you must have had one as a kid and thats why you hate them. i had one as a kid too and all i did was eat the chocolate and throw away the orange stuff. its more of a candy for older people. kind of like how really old people like bit o honey or neco wafers.

You know, I never thought about that. I hated Butterfingers as a kid, but love them now. I was the opposite with Bit o Honey - I can't stand them now.

Tootsie rolls too. I loved them as a kid, but think they taste like ass now.
 
They taste good to me, but I don't like picking the stuff out of my teeth for the next ten minutes after I eat one.

Same here. Even still, butterfingers are fucking awesome, especially in a Blizzard.

Odd I LOVED them as a child and hate them now.

They're okay, but Reese's Crispy Crunchy bar, 5th Avenue and to a lesser extent, Zagnut, take the same idea and do it better. :)
 
I'm 99% positive they've changed the Butterfinger formula. I used to love them as a kid and I don't think they're all that great now.

The chocolate tastes cheaper and the bar is more dense. This seems to be the case with almost all Nestle candy today.
 
Who the hell can eat that nasty POS? It's like artificial peanut butter inside...just go with a Reese's or dip a Hershey's in peanut butter.

I agree with this. Also, have reeses peanut butter cups shrunk?
 
yeah overall candy quality has gone down aside from the new push for dark chocolate versions of everything. theres only so much you can do you know they tried white chocolate stuff and that didnt sell too well ( white chocolate peanutbutter cups very nasty stuff).


best candy bar ever though was the mars bar. maybe someday they will bring it back because that thing was sweet. and cadvurry eggs are shrinking but still amazing.

I love butterfingers.

I hate Tootsie Rolls though. That stuff tastes like shit and I used to always get tons of those for Halloween.

Yeah. They need to ban giving out Tootsie Rolls on Halloween. When my group of friends used to go a long time ago, we gathered all of ours and made huge snowmen then left them on sidewalks =/

They're certainly not my favorite candy bar, but still fucking good. There aren't a whole lot of chocolate candy bars that I don't like really.

It's because Americans like sugar chocolate and not real chocolate.

The only think better is Hershey's Cadbury Mini Eggs/Balls. I had the Real Cadbury ones before and they were discusting!
 
I can't even eat them They are way too rich. As soon as I take a bite of that orange crap in the middle (not peanut butter), I have to vomit.
