Why can't I play as one of my two CAWs online, anymore? He's not on the character select screen, whereas one of my other ones is.

WTF is with limiting the wrestlers you can use in season mode? That's like saying that half of your superstars are nothing more than fodder.

I'm not sure how it works, but while making a CAW I noticed a green box in the upper right that popped up that said "NO ONLINE." I was in the costume area so I assume it has something to do with using costumes online. I don't know what the requirements are to be able to use it online.
 
Wow, this game has SHITTY online play.

You can't unselect a wrestler once you pick him / her, it boots you back to the menu after every match, you can't unselect a match type or switch it up.

Lame.

Online is fun as shit though besides the lame interface, me and 2fast have done a few rounds so far. Seriously, anyone else who wants to play hit me up.
 
Question...

When playing season mode, at the end of the Re-Volution storyline, I wrestled Triple H at Wrestlemania for a belt. WTF belt was it? Am I missing something?
 
I wish I could have played with you guys. Maybe we have some kind of router conflict or something like that. Since I updated my firmware I have not had a problem playing online though.

Even with all the problems this game has I am completely addicted to it.

No, don't get me wrong, me and 2fast are having a blast I just hate the fact we have to go through all this creating a new room every time we want to play, we can't even rematch the same match with the same wrestlers, we have to leave, make a new room, invite the other person, re-choose wrestlers.

I just don't get where there isn't a lobby.

Me and you got into a game fine, it's probably 2fast :lol: We invited Scorch but he never answered.
 
It's probably me, which is weird since I have had no problems connecting with anyone. Oh well, looks like I need to find a solution.
 
You invited me but I never answered? I responded right away to Batman. I just ducked out though, my 360 froze up after that 15 minute iron man match. That was awesome. If I didn't have to get up at 7, i'd keep playing.. must get Wii!

Yeah, I've seen that...

I think it might be when you use test / symbols on a character, because I remember seeing "NO ONLINE" appear when I added symbol to one of my CAWs.

Not positive, though.

I leveled up Ranchero a little bit last night, he is now a 48 overall, not great, but maybe his punches will actually hurt someone now.

Ok, I made a CAG belt, we can use that tonight for some more heated matches!

2Fast, the Rock comes really really early in Season mode, Wrestlemania is the second story line so you can unlock him in like 20 - 30 min.
 
I never even made it that far, I made it top the end of the first part with cena and realized I couldn't use the EXP. I was gaining towards my created guy so I started over and made it to the end with my CAW. If I knew Rock was that close I would have kept going.
 
Um... how do I put the title up in a match? It won't let me put my created belt up in a player match, just in a ranked match, so I can't put the title up against my friends??

Nope, it won't let me, the only one to put the title up is in a ranked match in which I can't invite my friends.

Yea, I spent something like 1000 or 2000 points making a bad ass CAG belt with a spinner and some jewels and the only way to use it is to make a ranked match and put the belt up against random challengers.

I'm kind of disappointed because it would be fun to have the belt changing hands between everyone.
 
Couple more questions, I've just been playing some matches with a couple friends and I haven't really gotten into season mode yet...

How do you get EXP? If I go into season with my CAW, do I get EXP every match? And do you make more if you play on harder difficulties per match?

you get experience every match in season mode. If you lose you normally only get about 200-300 EXP. But if you win you get up in to 2,000 EXP.

Not sure if those numbers vary though on which difficulty you play on.

And ya use your CAW, you can use, say booker T and still get EXP, but you can't use it towards your CAW.

John Cena's story starts REALLY close to Wrestlemania.

All I did was do the storyline with Big Show, team up with Show and win all 4 matches, finish the story, get a title shot, bam, Wrestlemania.

8 matches tops, and you can make the match against Triple H a no DQ match and just beat on him with a chair and win in a minute.

I am sorry I could not join you tonight Scorch. For some reason invites in this game sseem fucked up, or it might just be me. Afterwords I played a game to see if there would be any problem and it played just fine. Hopefully there is a patch for it in the future.
 
Stole this from GameFAQ's... VERY easy way to unlock the ECW arena.

To do unlock it, you need to win a Money in the Bank match on Legend difficulty against 5 other wrestlers. OMG, this is impossible! I tried alot of times and failed each time.

Here's the trick:

1) Go into create a wrestler, create a featherweight (i.e 180 pounds or as low as it goes). Make no other changes than this, leave everything the way it is.

2) You play as The Great Khali against 5 of these featherweights (make 1, copy the other 4).

3) They won't be able to hit Khali at all for the most part, and one punch from Khali will put them on the mat.

4) Inflict massive damage... they will go into the red quick and start bleeding. Don't use the ladder, this drains ALL of Khali's stamina and it's' not necessary. Use a hard irish whip (hold R+A) to throw them out of the ring, where they will stay down there knocked out for a long ass time.

5) Climb up the ladder, grab the briefcase, win.

I did this in under 10 minutes.

ECW Arena is awesome ;)
