Didn't actually know those few games were totally it, thought that was a small preview list or something, not the complete list. Just glad I didn't actually pay the full $5 or I'd really be disappointed.

Yes, Those Few. I thought there would be more choices, not just one rpg, one racer, two fps, pvz, peggle, and the rest sports. As I said, I thought the small selection was a preview list, not the complete list. I'll play the hell out of DA:I for the month and just not renew. Totally underwhelming Vault collection there.

It's still 15 games, 8 of which are sports games. If you want to play the games after the season is over then OK I guess you might be more in to it.

There's only 7 EA games not on the Vault.

NHL 16, FIFA 16, NBA 16, SW Battlefront, Need for Speed, PGA, and Unravel.

Not sure what you were expecting.

As prolific as EA was on the 360 I was expecting a lot more than they've apparently made for the One. Seems like three quarters of my games on the 360 sport the EA logo. Was really expecting just More. It was only $3.44 for the month, so it's not the cost, just there's so little there there's no reason to subscribe.

One tough customer there. I've gotten more than my $30 a year on sports games alone. I don't care about being "current" with my sports stuff.

I may have missed out on just how good PvZ: GW was without access. Add in Dragon Age: IA, BF: Hardline, Rivals (which enabled me to sell my copy at the time), etc. and I've been quite happy with it.

And, since I just play sports games here and there, those 10 hour trials of newer games last me a long time.

I don't know why anyone is surprised that praxus doesn't like EA Access. He's always been open about how picky he is when it comes to games, at least that I have seen.

Yeah, it's good for you if you have a wide range of game interests. I don't play sports games, I don't watch any sports, so never had any desire to play a sports title. PvZ I have on the 360 and I've played it once. Racers I can do once in a great while, but the Battfield games I've never wanted to try either (not a cod type game fan), so the value just isn't there at all for me to keep the service. Really, I just thought EA would've had more games out by now than they actually do.

If you know all this, why bother signing up for EA Access? In case you forgot, the current gen has only been there for a little over 2 years and half of EA's games are already in the vault. You just sound like someone who's complaining for the hell of it.

They published roughly 157 games on the 360. So ~14 per year.

And several of their yearly releases are now dead.

Did you actually read what I wrote in the several replies After the OP? I thought that EA had A LOT more games out than these few piddly titles, and that the complete Vault list was a small preview list of what's being offered. Over two years in I would expect that EA had a lot more titles than they do, non-sport related anyway. Sports titles they seem to have plenty of.

13/25 games they have released on Xbox One are sports games. Which is on par with their 360 releases.

 
I do find it funny how defensive ppl on here get of the EA Access. Shows that EA is turning it around since it wasn't too long ago that they were the most hated company.

EA Access is a preview of the future of gaming in my opinion. It will all be a service, the living room device is coming! I'm looking forward to buying 1 device to access Xbox Gold, PS Plus, EA Access, and Nintendo whatever they call it though, I just wonder how much each one will be for a year.
 
Note that we've established EA is the worst what do we think of Rivals Complete at $10? Think I'm more just bored and wanting to buy something than anything.

Good deal, if you want a good NFS game for this gen then that is the one to get. I bought it on launch when AMZ was doing the trade old gen get $xx off. I rebought it for around the same price like a month ago on PSN because I had a lot of fun with it.

If you like Hot Pursuit, then you'll like Rivals. If you don't like the whole racer vs cop thing, then you probably won't like it.

Lol... I dated this girl who had one of the largest plastic tube Tv's I've seen. I was helping her move, so naturally, I go to pick the thing up by the handles on back, and it just explodes in my hands. I shrugged my shoulders and we left it in the middle of the floor lol

Haha, before I bought my first crappy HD TV, I had a 36" Sony tube tv from the 90s. I moved that thing from Chicago to PA, and I finally gave it to my in-laws. That thing weighed ~300 lbs and even for two people, it was hard to move, but logistically, it was almost impossible to get a third set of hands on it.

I knew someone who had one of those projection models on wheels and it was basically this thing's here until we die or sell the house and then it's the next person's problem.

I loved Hot Pursuit and Rivals was part of the reason I got EA Access. Then I played Rivals and couldn't stand it. I hated having to make it to a garage to keep my race winnings, I'd also bump a car or pass a speed light and all of a sudden I'd have three cops and a heli on me. And every time I'd almost be out of range, a new cop would appear out of nowhere and reset my wanted level.

It made me too frustrated to enjoy playing, and after liking Hot Pursuit so much that was really disappointing.


Just to chime in on the Access hater, a google search could have told you what EA has put out already and what's in the Vault. As you said, you only wasted $3 so whatever. Just seems odd to me that you knew in advance you have no interest in sports or fps's, but still thought EA Access would be of value to you.

Yeah, but on the flipside, it's very similar to what would happen in real life if you do 200mph. So in that sense, it's actually the most realistic Need for Speed ever. It's actually better than real life because if you hit something at 200mph, you'd be flying through your windshield.

It's also ridiculously fun to play as a cop for the reasons you listed.
