I haven't seen any mention of it being exclusive and THQ Nordic is publishing so multiplatform seems likely.

Sine Mora EX was announced for Switch, Xbox One, PS4, and PC. It's the same with Battle Chaser: Nightwar.

 
So wait... I accidentally purchased some WWE 2K17 DLC because when I got my XBone it said the game was ready to download and I thought I owned it at first...

Also, does Microsoft have a number I can call to try and verify an account... I've had no luck using the online forms. An old account of mine that I own roughly 50 games on is currently inaccessible because I can't remember the password and the email tied to it was deactivated over a year ago

They might do it as a courtesy, but the new refund plan their rolling out explicitly states it doesn't cover DLC.

I have played Trials of games and many like to highlight the best parts and then ignore the parts that people end up not enjoying. It's not always the best indication on how the full game will be. Mechanics are cool if they work well, but if most of the levels suck, then it's not worth picking up.

^ The trials for the games in Game Preview are different - they are not like demos. GP trials are just the first hour of the game - regardless of what state it is in.

From the trial, I thought the controls were too janky and never bought it. In case you didn't already know, things can occur in the gameworld/server even if you are not playing. Some people like that feature, but it can also be frustrating. Some of my friends have the game. They'd spend days building a base and training dinosaurs. Then the next time they log on, their base would be completely destroyed and all their stuff is stolen. People can do that to you even if you are not online at the time. Again, some people like that feature. I personally do not like having my time wasted like that.

 
Digital Foundry video is up for Black Ops 2 BC: It's the best way to play the game performance wise on consoles. They said there was basically no frame rate drops in multiplayer.

NX Gamer also did a preview and had drops of 1-2 frames every 4+ minutes outside of when in the warthog/whatever the plane kill streak is called where it has a few drops. But either way runs better on the X1. You can almost says It's 60fps locked outside of the killstreaks.

There's also a texture filtering bug, but supposedly the game is getting a patch already today which might have fixed that.

Also no BC titles today, but that's to be expected when they released the most requested title on user voice and twitter this week.

MS also announced (?) on the wire that scorpio will be shown off at E3 (duh) which basically means no more Scorpio info (I'd assume?) till E3. So now we must wait close to 2 months before we hear more info. I was expecting a price announcement prior to E3 if it was going to be high so I'm assuming we are going to be pleasantly surprised by the price.

Also, to anyone that read my post regarding refunds yesterday: It's for select alpha members only ATM. So it is a feature that is going to roll out in the future is my guess. Be careful as to what you buy over the next few weeks.

I know you guys have been wondering, so here's an update on my Apex HQ for ME Andromeda.

Got 2 level 20 teams that both run gold missions with no problem, a level 18 that takes care of the silvers for now, and 2 level 9s that take care of the bronze. Each team has at least 3 positive traits and only one team has a single negative trait. Been away from home so haven't been able to collect my goods in game but have 144/200 items in my inventory now.
 
Holy hell I HATE Activision. I was going to complain how I only got one DLC with each MW game in the bundle, and noticed just now that it says (in the US):

That last part omits the "first DLC", it just says DLC.

They're also increasing the Gen cap to 100. WTF. For anyone who doesn't know, Gen is like Prestige in Call of Duty. You reach max level (level 50 in Titanfall 2), then have the option to regenerate your character, essentially resetting and leveling up again. Every time you reach max level, you can Gen up again. Gen 100 is insane and hardcore.

For reference, when the game launched, max Gen was 10. In Call of Duty Infinite Warfare, max prestige at launch was 10 (not sure if it got increased). In Titanfall 1, max Gen was 10.

Clustertruck: There is zero reason why this game should be so much fun but it is totally awesome!

Was going to buy the destiny collection because I finally tried and got hooked on destiny, but they gouged the price so I'm out. 

Thoughts on rwby, I watched the first 12 minute chapter on youtube of the anime and it seemed interesting but I've never really done any anime stuff at all.

Geeez... that campaign looks nice. I don't think I've ever played a COD campaign... always been straight to multiplayer. What are the best campaigns in the series?

the older ones like 2 3 and world at war

to me none of them were anything special but I've never been a cod fan I find them super generic as fps campaigns

the black op games are worth a play but I personally would rather play the old rainbow six vegas games any day of the week

Not totally true. Only the host can initiate a save but the stats/studs are saved for both players as long as both are signed in. Annoyingly there is stuff that only the host can do (like pilot the ship to chose a new planet), but it's been minor so far.
 
^ I love ALL of the CoD campaigns. They are fundamentally solid, fun shooters, with kickass set pieces. Yes ALL of them - even Ghosts. 

The CoD campaigns get overshadowed by the multiplayer discussion, usually.

 
So for this sale I am contemplating Just Cause 3 DLC, Blue Dragon, both Wolfenstein games and the Red Faction games.  At some point I would like to get Dead Island:  Definitive Edition, Overcooked and Call of Duty 3 to add to my backlog.  Thoughts on any of those latter three?  Overcooked seems like a good price.  I would like to see Dead Island's price come down a bit but I've seen that go for $16 before and I almost bit the last time it did.  The COD BC games don't seem to go past $10 for some reason...

I like the CoD campaigns but you can't lump Titanfall 2's campaign in the same bucket. T2 had some of the most refreshing and unique segments in a shooter campaign than I can think of in the last 5 years. Some of it wouldn't even really fit in a CoD campaign at all -- I'm not just talking about some of the gameplay mechanisms but things like the massive factory level were fantastic.

I won't say more for fear of spoiling it for others but it's one of the few campaigns that I absolutely intend to play over again (when my backlog dies down...which, admittedly, may be never.).

Not an insult to CoD which has had some excellent set pieces and situations within the campaigns but nothing prepared me for how cool Titanfall 2's campaign was.

Totally different games IMO. I havent played the last two COD games but the Titans and time/phase shift stuff in TF2 campaign is a lot of fun. Perhaps by Titanfall 10 it will get repetitive if they don't do something new.

I think based on achievement stats, something like less than 20% of the overall player base ever complete the campaigns, typically. It's one of the reasons Activision felt comfortable releasing BO3 on PS3/360 without a campaign - the majority of players never bother to finish it.

Similar logic for 343 excluding local co-op: percentage-wise, it wasn't a huge amount of players, but when you're selling ~1 million copies of a game, excluding a feature which 100,000 customers expect a game to have is still bad business.

Which is why I ruled it out. No way I'm paying $16 for a first-party title that should be BC at this point. I honestly doubt MS has any plans for Fable in the foreseeable future. Which makes even more baffling the fact that the game's still $39,99 when not on sale and not BC.
