I was finishing up a build deployment close to 3am last night when I remembered I needed to hop on Gears 4 for the daily reward and win bonus. When I got them out of the way, I saw the new Forzathon was going live in a couple minutes, so I figured I'd knock out one or two of the challenges. Got the 20 air skills one at 3:02, hopefully that's good enough for the first winners leaderboard on TA. I was up late last week when the weekend ones went live and thought I might've made the auction leaderboard at about 3:07, but a number of people got that just after it went live. Ah, to have no life or responsibilities to chase those leaderboards all the time. I have no life, but those damn responsibilities.

 
So Mike is online, Mike is downloading all his Ready to Install games, it's the winter of Mike! (sorry I'm watching Seinfeld right now). Phone is still going strong, used about 100GB since the beginning of the month and haven't been throttled -yet I live in Upstate NY so it's not a congested network. FH3 is updated so I can partake in blueprints and dat CAG club leaderboard.

Also, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is great, I really enjoyed it. I would say I enjoyed the first more - Human Revolution - but certainly the sequel is more impressive graphically at this point. Some people don't like Adam Jensen as a character, but I like him enough.

Anyone have a recommendation for Battleborn? Generally I liked Borderlands, but only played those solo. Wasn't a huge fan of the beta. I'm going to assume I'm only considering it since it's on sale.

Man...halfway through the month and I've only finished 2 games. Overwatch and (surprisingly) Fallout Shelter are to blame. Going to take an Overwatch break though after grinding out some last Rooster loot boxes.

Started playing Wheels of Aurelia. That game is weeeeeiiirrrd.

As for Battleborn, it's actually much better than the reputation it earned. I haven't played the VS at all, just the campaign stuff and it's actually been really fun, but each mission seems to be close to an hour. For some reason, even though Gearbox lost a ton of money on Battleborn they do a really good just of supporting it and just released a huge patch improving performance. If you do grab it let me know, I'm early in the campaign and would start over of you wanna go through it

Finished so far

1. Gat out of Hell

2. COD:IW campaign (on veteran)

3. Watch Dogs 1

4. Resident Evil 7 (normal)

Still on my "at least 1 achievement a day" journey. It's alot harder than it sounds. A couple of times I ran late getting home or watching something on tv and I picked off an achievement at around 11:58pm lol

 
I've only beaten 1 game, but figure to finish Dead Effect 2 and For Honor before Halo Wars 2 comes out.

Dead Effect 2 is really weird. It's oddly just what the title sounds like, a mash up of the powers of Mass Effect with the Zombies/Monsters in space of Dead Space. It's really weird and low budget, I'm pretty positive it's a port of a mobile game. It looks like Doom 3 on OG Xbox, and for some reason I'm actually kinda enjoying it. I think there's 20 single player missions and I'm on 14

Also @stranger, I'm sure we figure out a time to play, although you are right, I never see you online anymore

Got the gold edition this morning for $41 after Groupon giftcards,cartwheel, ad matching..etc. But I dont want to open it til I see some reviews. Been watching it on Twitch and looks kinda boring. Hit,block,parry, push off ledge, repeat. Maybe reading something in writing my help me understand it better

But yeah, you kinda nailed it. The appeal it having to anticipate where your enemies attack is coming from and counter from that direction

Gears 4 has been sending out Valentine's related bounties the last few days. I don't remember if today's bounty was "I'll Have What She's Having" (17,500 XP for killing 150 enemies with a Heavy weapon in Horde) or "My Heart Burns for You" (2,000 XP for 2 incendiary kills in Vs). There was also a heart emblem today.

Heh. Just played the Lego Batman 3 Green Arrow DLC. Super short BUT the voice over was pretty damn funny. More enjoyment than I've gotten from the show in the last two seasons.

Just looked up Dead Effect and yep, it's on iOS. I'm downloading both of them to try out lol
 
You know what grinds my gears? The xbone not auto dl dlc when they are released or bought. I noticed some dlc missing from watchdogs 2, I had to go under manage game and had to select install all before it would dl. This lead me to check all 236 games and found I was missing over 70 dlc ranging from minor costume, money, to full story dlc. Really Microsoft get better.

I can understand why they don't...but it really should be automatic if you have a season pass, at the very least.

That's my fear. The demo did nothing for me. Seemed like a worse version of Ryse, but who knows how much better the game is than the demo.

Or a simple notification, hey we see you have this DLC available, would you like us to download and apply it to your game. I'm with you, a lot of games have additional files I didn't know/forgot I had.

Yeah, I finally got Oblivion dled and I went to manage game. I noticed three different DLC; Shivering Isles, The Orrery, & Mehrunes' Razor. I had previously checked out the game files on my 360 and ahuh there's more than that (mage's house and so on), DLC I believe I got off the OXM discs many moons ago. Yet checking the exact same DLC in the store and trying to dl it, says this offer isn't available in your region. Dafuq

I have a lady in a nightgown who is working my radio room. The only survivors who come to my vault are all middle aged white guys lol. They hear this sexy voice on the radio. She's like why don't you come to our vault. I'm wearing a nighty. Then they get there and It's a sausage party.

I feel bad for the four ladies up in there. When the vaults a rocking don't come a Knocking. I had radiers break in and they were like......Ah nevermind. We are going to the vault over the mountain.

Just finished the For Honor campaign on easy. Took about 6 hours. Already sold it on eBay. Don't think I would play much multiplayer on it. Worth a rental but it does get repetitive and sometimes the controls don't always do what you tell them.
 
I didn't think id play much For Honor online, but played a few matches of 2v2 and also the 4v4 domination mode. Both were very fun, and I think I'll be playing more of it. I definitely enjoyed the 2v2 mode more, the Domination mode got pretty chaotic with all the AI fodder on the screen
 
Bought the Pinball F/X 2 tables on sale and all I've been playing is just the Aliens table. Holy fuck they nailed things on that one for me.

 
I'm glad I held off on FFXV.  BB Early Access President's Sale with GCU is $31.99 and I think I have a $5 gc waiting on me :D

Yeqh I took a break from FH3 and went way more arcadey. Now that I finally got to it, holy shit Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed is hella fun. The flying around part reminds me of Diddy Kong Racing and the track changing makes things interesting your first go around!

How did you like Gat of out Hell? i grabbed it on the 360 a few months back during a sale and keep meaning to go back to it but I needed a break after finishing SR4. Keep your streak going, I'm at 559 and counting.

Mine expires in a few days, and about a week ago it started showing me a 33% discount ($39.99) if I renew before the expiration.

 
Just finished the main story on Forza Horizon 3 yesterday morning.  I think it is the first driving game I have ever finished.  Probably going to grind out a few more achievements and trade it to Best Buy tomorrow or Friday.

I might want to pick this up digitally later.  Might be nice to fire it up whenever the mood strikes me.  Trying to figure out what I would need to buy.

Deluxe and Ultimate seem to add car packs but don't include the Expansion pass.  Which is $34.99 on Live.  

If I didn't really care that much about the car packs would buying the base version and the Expansion pass be the best way for me to go?  Is it likely there will be a GOTY edition later this year that would include the game and the playable DLC?  Blizzard Mountain is $19.99 and I guess there is only one more playable DLC coming out which I guess would also be $19.99.  So I would save $5 buying the expansion pass and I guess maybe get a few cars too.  

I will also have to check out Forza Horizon 2 since that was free with GWG recently.  

I usually don't care about skins and stuff like that.  Would be nice to have some of the cars but for $20+ I can pass on them.

BC has been good to me this last week. Fire up the box and see GTA4 and Hitman Absolution ready to install. Give me Max Payne 3 and I'll be set. Well...would like to see Tiger Woods 13 or NCAA Football 14 show up but I know that's not going to happen with all the licensing.
 
Am I an idiot or is there no way to pre-install Halo Wars 2 if you have it digitally pre-ordered? It's the first time I've ever pre-ordered digitally and assumed that was something you can do but I can't figure it out.
