There's no way anyone will pay $100 for that, but $20 is a really good deal. While some have been on PS+, looks like they did a good job of not including any GWG which is nice.

I've been tempted by FFXV a number of times but I know I'm not ready to play it just yet, so I've been patiently waiting on it, just like Dishonored 2, Watch Dogs 2, Dead Rising 4, and a handful of other big releases I don't feel like I have time for yet.

It offers free Priority Shipping. It says $0.00, but then it asks for a credit card, even though it says "No Payment Information Required". It won't let you proceed without a credit card. If you submit the order with a credit card it will say the order needs to be greater than zero.

The other shipping methods are ridiculous.

You can probably play Andromeda separately without watching the videos if you plan to play the original trilogy in the future. The story is not strictly tied to the other series.

Not sure if I saw it in this article or the Halo Wars 2 launch video but we are still getting more unannounced games shown at E3 that will release *this year*. He already stated first year with no Gears/Halo (by this I think he means the FPS lol) so I guess Halo 3 anniversary is out of the question. No doubt Forza to fill the gap this year, don't know if it will be mainline or something like Horizon. Probably another mainline is my guess.

You'll have to put a couple hundred hours into the original trilogy but it's worth it. I remember playing ME 1 and getting bored with it within the first hour. Came back to it 3 years later, got hooked, and ended up binge-playing the entire trilogy within a month+, all DLC for each game included.
 
Still have a bit over a month to complete Mass Effect 3 for the 187th time. Right now doing the Rachni mission where you encounter Grunt again. Then back to the Citadel to complete a couple of fetch side quests that otherwise cannot be completed after the Cerberus siege. THEN back to Tuchanka and deal with the genophage.

Shooting Mordin in the back in order to stop him from curing the genophage when Wreav is the krogan's leader instead of Wrex is definitely the best renegade moment in ME3. Had to be done. #NoRemorse.

YMMV. I pay no tax when purchasing the X-bucks but DO pay taxes when buying games/DLC using that balance.

But for whatever reason, I don't (think I) pay taxes when buying Steam wallet and also don't pay taxes when I buy games from Steam *shrug ASCII art*.

I'm bored at the start of 1. I liked multiplayer beta in 3. I'll force myself to finish 1 someday so I can play the rest.

I would play them (but I'm biased because I love the series) but the game takes place 500 years after Mass Effect 3, so you should be good. There may be little references here and there but it shouldn't be a problem.
 
I would also note that you can probably beat the ME trilogy in 90-100 hours, even if you do a fair amount of side missions. I think that makes it well worth it if you're so inclined. But as others pointed out, it's not essential to the new game, so if anything you could always start with Andromeda and then go back and play the first three if you feel like it.

Sorry, you're dead to me now. You can't get the same experience watching a game on YouTube, esp the Mass Effect trilogy.

FYI I got my Halo Wars 2 game from my BB preorder today, UPS just dropped it off! There's a 6 GB update already lol.

Battleborn would've been relevant had it been F2P. The Smite route would've worked so much better.

Speaking of that, one of the HiRez guys on Twitter mentioned that they were hoping Paladins would've been up on XBone this week. They are just waiting on Microsoft certification. Ive been playing it since the alpha on PC and it's a great game. It really flew under the radar with all of the Overwatch hype/love.
 
I disagree, a lot of people immediately disregard f2p games. The game is actually pretty good, I think their biggest mistake was releasing at the same time as Overwatch, and positioning itself against OW when they are very different games
 
Truth to that. Initially I played Battleborn first. Enjoyed it. Was like Cotton Candy. Then I played Overwatch. Blew the doors off of Battleborn's Barn. Overwatch was like a giant juicy Steak dinner with all the fixings compared to BB. Fast , Entertaining and more importantly Fun.

The Alpha build on XB isn't anywhere close to being ready for a rollout imo, they seemed to have introduced more bugs than fixes with the last update this past week or two. To their credit they did say the next update wouldn't take 2 months this time. Maybe the tweet is in reference to that.

Get it on whatever console makes most sense for you - what may be "looking good" for you may not be the same for me; and, as it stands, there is no known difference between the X1 and PS4 versions of the game.

All things being the same, I will always choose XBox over PS - that's my preference.

Same here. I was more thinking it just looks like a PC build in that promo. I am sure the PS4 and X1 will be similar. Not sure if this is getting a day 1 PS4 Pro upgrade or not. I am excited either way.

Side note: Logan is getting great reviews. Very hyped for that.
