If I didn't own some of these games it would probably be the most I've spent on a sale in over two years. MS really hit it out of the park with this one, at least in terms of XBLA games.

This year I've only bought ZAT, Devil May Cry HD collection ($4 and sadly not BC yet) and Shadow Warrior in terms of games on sale till now anyways.

Last year in August we had a really good Capcom sale. Bought Ultra SFIV, Darkstalkers , SF X Tekken for dirt cheap and none of those are still BC :( Also had Wolfenstein for $5 and Doom was half off that week as well.

The year before was also the big summer sale in July/August where I bought a shit ton of games. Vesperia $3.74... still waiting for that big one to go BC. Hoping that happens and someday square jumps on board with Nier, Star Ocean and the FF13 games. Lots of JRPGs still left to go BC.

With something like that I am VERY rabid when it comes to recording the 25-digit code and the expiration date down before I forget about them. It probably can't help you now, but a simple spreadsheet on Google Sheets or Excel Online will do wonders. Hopefully MS Support can help you with these codes.

Do the links happen to have the 25-digit code in them?

No, the links were very long and gibberish unfortunately. I guess I punished myself for believing the wording of their emails.

I prefer the 360 controller to the PS3 controller any day of the week. And a lot of the XBLA titles on this sale never appeared on PS3. Sad part is that I bought a $20 PSN card earlier today. Talk about betting on the wrong horse!
 
So many good games on sale. I have over 200 arcade titles and 150+ retail games, so its hard for me to snag one that I don't have. Dead Space Ignition is a def, will comb thru the entire list tomorrow morn

still deciding on Blue Dragon. tried it when it first came out and not a bad game but never played it much and got rid of it. now that is on sale for cheap, i am wondering if i should give it another shot?

As for myself, I'm just happy to see Arkanoid on sale. I'll wait for tomorrow to absorb the full official list to see if any other titles affect me.

MattOK, I see no shame in buying a game you already own on another console if you truly have a fun time playing it.

They didn't cancel backwards compatibility but they did cancel your movie rebates credit!
 
Hmmm...never played either Alice game. Is the first one necessary to enjoy the second? Also worry that it may hit the Vault being an EA game.

The first game comes with Madness Returns as DLC and even than I can say the first game has aged TERRIBLY. The controls, the camera and combat have aged terribly and enemies don't react at all to your attacks so I can say just skip it and go to the second game if you have any interest. Just be warned though, it drags.

 
And still I wait for the DLC for Enslaved to go on sale. It's been 7 years, so it should happen any week now.

Half-Minute Hero is confusing as hell. And Nin-2-Jump is extremely basic except for the graphics. I'd be pissed if I had paid more than $1.24 for it. Not what I was expecting from a Cave game.

Unless you have no other option (PSP or PC), this is easily the worst version of the game out there. They removed nearly all of the extra content and what is still there was significantly changed to play more like Hero 30, which removes a lot of the charm of the other modes.

If you have friends who also own the game, Left 4 Dead 2 is great. Otherwise if you're going to do it solo, skip it.

Rage is fun, don't go in expecting a solid story or writing, but in terms of solid FPS gameplay, I say it does that very well.

Kameo - Decent 3D platformer, part of Rare Replay is the only real point against it.

Rage - OK overall, big open world, decent gameplay, kind of jank driving. Looks pretty decent due to Id Tech, and runs really well on Xbone, 60 FPS. EDIT: Ending sucks hard, and no sequel is ever coming to continue the "story".

L4D2 - buy it unless you have a PC to play it on. Downside here is paid DLC that is all free on PC, but the DLC does add a lot including a couple new campaigns, one that was original a big fan-made map, and the ENTIRE first game.

Haven't played MoH.

Going to get Left 4 Dead 2 tomorrow when I get my Xbox out the storage bin just so I could have it in my collection.  You could do split screen right?  And good price on NBA Jam though I wish the DLC that unlocks everything was on sale too, I already have both though and I think it's better than Playgrounds at its current price.  Gonna go through the list and see what other games have couch co-op too.

Phantom Dust was the first time in forever I had planned to give Xbox some money. I almost feel guilted into spending 15-20 bucks on other stuff just because they're giving it to us for free.

Not bad. BTW the BC list is 378 so 73.8% of BC games are on sale which is pretty nice. Missing the big heavy sega hitters and some games on demand a bit high, but outside of that a amazing sale. Thanks for the hard work.

I remember putting like 300 Xbox 360 game demos on my history a couple months ago.  I went thru the list of games posted here that I don't remember and looks like I missed a few, so I added them.  There's a bunch of games that looks really fun to play but don't really want to commit to purchase, so I'll just stick with the demos for a rainy day and purchase the ones I think I'll most likely intend play the CAG way.

Nin2-Jump is one of the best kept secrets on Xbox Live. The deal is, it's got an Adventure Mode (which is a very simple platformer that may or may not be to your taste - I liked it for what it is), and a Score Attack Mode. The Score Attack Mode is more or less the "real" game you'll be coming back to replay, and it is very fun - it's an intense little blast of adrenaline when you're doing well, as you've got to survive by avoiding invincible bosses who increase in number while collecting score items. It must be noted, of course, that a play on this mode is maybe around 5 minutes usually. Although that's actually part of why I still come back to it every so often.

If that sounds like it miiiight strike your fancy, $1.24 isn't a bad price to take the chance at.
