I opened Neogaf a minute and had minute+price spoiler instantly, why don't they fucking stop that atleast in the titles. Then you get banned if you go against their dumb hivemind.

 
Neither new Forza will let me install. I'd appreciate a free Horizon.

I'm sad that Scorpio apparently didn't survive. Avoiding everything for the next few hours so I don't get spoiled.

Gotta hand it to them, I probably never would have logged into this app if they didn't do this thing with E3, it's a great way to get people using it.

I tried on the X1 and there is nothing to link to.

I tried on the laptop. Signed into my Xbox --> Community --> Mixer --> Start Watching --> Log In --> Log In Using MS Acct --> Enter Password --> Hit Sign In button --> and the circle comes up trying to log in and is stuck there

Am I missing something?

Try going to microsoft.com or xbox.com, log out and back in again.

I think it needs to be $449 or bust.

$199 One S, $249 PS4, or possibly $349 PS4 Pro.

People will have 3 options there. One a cheap 4K player/regular basic xbox one games. PS4 slim with a ton of fantastic exclusives, $100 more for a 4K experience that's "good enough", or they can pay a premium for Scorpio. $499 I think will be too much.

 
Thanks for the tips but no joy. Tried again on both Laptop and X1 and the same thing. Also no pop-up blocker. They could be getting slammed with it less than 2 hours away.

How can you tell if you're logged in from the X1? The only thing I see in the upper right corner on the Mixer is Lvll1 with a lightening bolt and 500 next to it?

Reading the GAF thread I'm thinking it's more and more of one of the following.

1) Two skus. One is $399 other is $499. One comes with something extra, like maybe the new elite controller that has been rumored for awhile now.

2) Geoff has been told to say $499 to get the mic drop moment at E3.

 
I think for 499 it needs to include a download token for a game that shows off scorpio, crackdown 3 or shadow of war would probably have me interested most

I'm liking Twitch better than Mixer because it's been having freezing issue. The IGN feed [currently showing EA's conference] freezes every 3-5 seconds. I tried watching a stream of Friday the 13th and it's slightly better.

Does the quality have to do with how many people are watching?

I'm at work so I just downloaded the mixer app on my phone and signed in that way.
 
Hmmm... I guess I am linked already. I just went up to Level 2 on my X1 and it finally signed me in on my laptop and has my Gamertag. I hope everyone who was having problems can get in before the live cast.

 
So just to know that i did my math correctly and converted the timezone correctly... the mixer thing will start in about 1 hour and 20 minutes right? I still wonder how those free game giveaway will work? use mixer and games appear in your ready to install list? hum

 
The FAQ for the Xbox E3 Mixpot is here and I'm sure it has been linked in the thread previously. Sounds like that is all you have to do is just sign up and watch the stream at 2 pm PST / 5 pm EST. I will be streaming the event just to make sure I get in on the freebies.

I had to reboot after holding the Xbox button down for 10 seconds and it went right in after that
 
Even if I have problems with the stream, I still get that XP credit.  The IGN channel on Mixer is giving me more problems than anyone else (their Youtube channel is giving me no problems whatsoever). 

If the Microsoft feed is this bad, then I can't participate and will watch via Youtube or Fuse instead.

 
I'm still unsure of how 4K will work. I have an Xbox S, i have a 4K TV, mixer app... So i should be set, but all the streams there in supposed HD, don't look that great.

The existence of the Mixer app, or maybe Twitch in general, astounds me. Scrolling through some of these channels while I'm waiting for the conference to start, and holy shit. People love to watch people play video games. They're passionate about it, and I can't even begin to grasp that concept. I can see watching a few minutes to see what the game is all about, but people spend time following and watching people play games instead of playing them themselves and just... what.

 
They are having all sorts of issues, the app on the xbox one was slowly loading a few minutes ago. Earlier an official channel got suspended (see spoiler for image).

Maybe it's like podcasts, esp video game podcasts. Listening to people talk about games while playing my own games.

But, listening to people talk about games while watching them play games...can you really multitask that and enjoy it?

Beam or Mixer still unreliable. Not sure why they can't either get this right or stop reinventing the wheel.

Wouldn't of worked. I was logged in and crashed. I had to log back in.
