  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.

I think those are normal prices. I bought a jersey when they originally came out, but I think MS lost the rights to have NFL avatar items. They got it back later, but my jersey still shows up as an error in games so I want one that shows up in games.

I had the same question and from what I've been able to gather, it's a strong rumor but we will know for sure later today (or at least, later today for me since where I am it is now the 31st).

 
I actually would not mind Dead Island I need a new coop game to play.I already beat Dead Island but I would not mind playing it with my friends all over again.
 
Wish it was Riptide, ah well. Already have Dead Island and I enjoyed duping items and selling them getting the best weapons and such. Not sure if they patched that. I let my nephew borrow it, now we can co-op I guess.
 
I am tired of zombie games, so I am hoping for a different offering. Still, I have enough other games to get through that I won't complain.

Oh I do have one other minor complaint about it, minor because of how minor of a role firearms play in the game... but targeting via sights on a game annoys me, I much prefer a targeting reticule which only shows up when you're in a corner or something that prevents you from extending your arms whilst hold a firearm.

If you are right, I wouldn't mind at all to get Blood Bowl for $5, though I already own the legendary edition on PC.

 
halo spartan ops does not have my cheaper price on 360 for buying on wp....

Halo: Spartan Assault will also be available for Windows 8 or Windows Phone 8 prior to Dec. 15, 2013, will be eligible to purchase the Xbox 360 version of the game at a discounted price of $4.99.

Ok I hope that is not the game. I would be ok with Riptide, but Dead Island is old. I played it a long time ago, Microsoft is really dropping the ball. PS3 is getting Metro last light and another game that I do not recall.

Dead Island > Metro Last Light.

Metro isn't bad, but I think it is less fun and has little replay value. Almost any co-op game is more fun than most single player games, even the "terrible" ones like rcoon city.

Ty but its not working and there guide is great only for new users only basic info how to buy but ty anyways. I hope they fix soon i took the day off to i am play super pumped.

btw playing wp8 ver again did not work. I hope it works sometime today the ac hd discount worked fine so i hope this works to.

This argument is getting old now. People for years paid for XBL without getting shit for free. Now M$ is giving away free games and people complain that they're not good enough. I'm convinced people on the internet will bitch about anything. If you subscribe to XBL for the free games then you should consider going month to month, so you can choose to pay for it when you see free games you like, problem solved.

 
^Totally, I just found it yesterday while haphazardly clicking different icons on my old windows 3.1 personal computer at work. Thought it would be a charming and wonderful place for an old soul like myself but much to my dismay it is filled with entitled people much like the real world.

On a more serious note. This sort of behavior is "relatively" new on CAG. A community that for a long time focused solely on gaming deals and news.

Since so many people are talking about dead island being the game it wouldnt be so badd honestly its alot better then most people on here are saying its fun as hell single player or co op

Hopefully some dlc goes on sale

even though i would have prefered Resident evil for sale instead but still no complaints here

 
Actually I'd be pretty pleased with King Kong. It's supposed to be pretty decent, for a game so early in the gen. Plus easy achievements. Frankly I'd rather play King Kong than Dead Island.

Good suggestion really. Because the internet;it is expected I will read "ps plus is getting... and MS is dropping the ball". Guaranteed. Nothing wrong with that, but maybe a thread for just that topic would be better. I like the difference with games with gold you keep the game when your gold expires. Of course there are games I would rather have for free but I don't see why I should waste the effort complaining about something free. It is rather new for MS and I think it is positive they started this promotion.
Also the sales for games have been great. KoA for $9.99 was what I wanted, and the price for Shank 2 is boss, boss.

It requires a little work if you don't put in the cheats for the game. You also need to play on the hardest difficulty.

Even if you sign up specifically for GwG

$60(reg price)/24 games = $2.50/game even if they're old is an awesome deal especially if you just recently got a 360.

Taking into account we're CAGs:

$40(current low price)/24 = $1.67/game.

If Kong is really the GwG, then I'll be glad I'm not renewing my Gold subscription. I played it again last Spring and it has aged so badly that it's ridiculous. It's almost like one of those TDK games that were on the Gamecube and were terrible.

 
The thing that gets me is just... If you didn't think Gold was a good deal before, when it was just paying for online access, fine. Great.

But if you did think it was worth paying for before, and now they added an extra bonus, except the bonus isn't particularly great, that makes it a bad deal now? No. At worst, it's the exact same value as before. At best, it's a little bit better.

I remember when the rumors were Halo Wars, Just Cause 2 and so on, and every such rumor has been eventually proven wrong. The Dead Island rumor was originated from one source, yet many news sites picked it up, making it seem like a bigger rumor than it is (of course, it could be true, but it doesn't seem to have more proof than what Just Cause 2 and Halo Wars "believers" brought up). We still don't know what February's games will be, even though the first one should be available in as little as 8 hours. I don't see any reason to believe any rumor regarding March therefore, let alone from a non-gaming website. Just my 2 cents.
