• You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console. Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work. Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance.
• Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.
  On Xbox One, Gold trials of any length work for sales and Games with Gold. You must be an active Gold subscriber (paid or trial) to play Games with Gold purchases.

What is this?

Game prices in the Xbox store have a UTC end date associated with them. These dates generally fall into 5 categories :

1. The item is currently on sale. These are usually the weekly sale items that end Tuesday mornings at 09:59:59 UTC.
2. The item will go on sale, usually within 2-3 weeks. These are usually set to switch at 23:59:59 UTC, like the weekly sale on Monday evenings. Some of the major annual sales (Spring, Summer, Black Friday, Holiday) start on Thursday evening UTC, and some times appear to be random.
3. The item is on Game Pass and is not currently or going to be on sale in the next few weeks. Third party games generally cluster around 09:59:59 UTC on the 1st and 16th of each month. Currently, at least one game is associated with every 1st and 16th through January 2026. The dates then spread out, ending with Human Fall Flat on July 1, 2028.
4. First party and EA Play titles are farther out, starting in 2049, with many in 2799 and 9998.
5. No date - some items do not have a price and so don't have a date. If the item is part of a bundle that has a price, the date from the bundle is used.

The list below uses the dates associated with games on Game Pass and EA Play. Time stamps in red are the regular Game Pass departure times and titles in red are confirmed to be leaving, either from Microsoft's regular news postings or by devs / publishers. Items available through Game Pass Core, currently on sale or not available for purchase are also color coded.

The date associated with a Game Pass game is not a guarantee it will leave on that date, but since March 2023 when the price data started getting analyzed, every game that's left Game Pass had been flagged as leaving on that date. It's given a number of people an extra heads up on the generally 2 week notice Microsoft provides.

Looks like you might lose 10 days, the only thing not to do is redeem 12 months of anything, stick to at least 6 months or 3 months. They did some weird maths on the 12 month codes.

Seems like the exchange rate on lower increments of Gold reflect the higher MSRP of those codes.
1 month of Gold = $10 MSRP
3 months of Gold = $25 MSRP

So the math on that makes sense. However, since there's no MSRP for buying 12/24 months of GPU, the exchange on that is a little weird.

I recently got a refund for Thronebreaker, which I just found to be kinda boring and not what I was expecting. I had to provide a reason to request a refund, so I just said I got mixed up and thought it was the regular Gwent game. I'm not sure you really need a good reason for a refund if you've only played a short time. Maybe just saying you didn't like it is enough. Nothing to lose by asking them.

For me, it was being unemployed that killed my joy of video games. I felt like I was gaming on borrowed time and couldn't spend more then 30 mins a week playing games. Most were multiplayer focused so I could enjoy interacting with other people.

Now, that I have a job, I've been doing a deep dive into all of my single-player focused games and loving it. I think taking the break away from it to work on myself and have real world results helped me feel better about spending time deep in stories that increase my Gamer Score

Can't wait to try and start 'The Witcher 3' again.

Need some feedback from you wonderful xbox people.

Do you ever get into that slump where you just dont enjoy any games? You turn on any console or pc and you get that overwhelming feeling of you just cant give a crap, you cant play anything for more than 10 minutes cause it doesn't elicit any sort of response from you.

If you do get that, what draws you back out of it? Something new? Something old? Stepping away from gaming entirely for awhile? What do you do when its not fun anymore?

Personally I'd recommend a couple of different things. Taking a step away and doing something else you enjoy tends to be a safe bet for myself. I'll shift over and catch up on some TV, anime, movies, comics, books, or whatever else is on the backburner from time to time. If you're really feeling that you aren't enjoying ANY games, a break is probably a good idea. If you don't already have hobbies, or you're already participating in them now, try some new stuff. Learn how to cook (at all or better), pick up an instrument, go check out tabletop stuff at the comic shop, anything really.

Another thing I'll do if I'm not feeling the drive to play current stuff is go back to old favorites. Sometimes it's old stuff from 20 years ago, sometimes it's more recent games that I just really enjoyed. Hell, I'm kind of doing this now. I got a shitload of games during the holidays but after finishing Code Vein I decided to play through the Mass Effect trilogy, which I haven't really touched since the ME3 ending disaster. Aside from playing stuff that's new (at least to me), I tend to pick one or two multiplayer games to stick with for the most part and if those start to get stale I might spend a few days playing something that used to be in the rotation.

One other thought is to try and branch out of your comfort zone. Tired of climbing the 500th Ubisoft radio tower in an open world? Maybe check out a genre you're not as familiar with or a game that's considered an all time classic that you missed. I know I get this urge sometimes as I play a LOT of FPS and RPG games.

Really the bottom line is if you're not having fun doing what you're doing then it's a good idea to mix it up in some way. It's hard to say when to "come back" to your old rhythm, or if you'd want to come back in the same way as before, but I'd wager you'll at least find a way to continue to enjoy the medium if your the type of person that is checking sites like CAG, and posting in forums.

For me the stuff the had the most negative impact on my enjoyment of games were usually getting too focused on ancillary stuff. Really grinding Achievements a lot burned me out, and later it was trying too hard to play as much new stuff as possible to "stay in the loop" of current discussions.

I get that every once in a while and the only thing that works for me is beating games. Specifically, beating short games. Backlog is too big and games can be 100+ hours, it's so overwhelming. I guess beating a few games makes me feel like i'm making progress and get back into it.

Try games like The Gardens Between on game pass or Unravel 2 on EA Access. I think Gardens was like 2 hours and everyone should play it.

When I get game fatigue, I switch to something else for a bit. Right now I'm watching stand up specials and Big Fat Quiz when I need breaks, especially when my neck needs me to rest. I look like I survived the neck slashing I "suffered" in our horror movie

So I don't know if it's been mentioned yet. I decided to play Lonely Mountains Downhill on some folks recommendation here. Just as someone had said I popped 3 cheevos in under 20 minutes for the ID@Xbox quest. Oddly enough it also checked off the Game Pass on PC achievement as well.

Has anyone else had this happen when playing a Xbox GP game that is listed for GP on PC as well?

I'm currently out of work, having been let go from my last job in November. For a month plus, Football Manager 20 has held my attention. I got FM19 with GPU, liked it, and bought FM20 shortly after release. Started watching a YouTube channel (which I hadn't done before) with a guy who does daily FM videos, found a podcast within the last couple weeks I like, and even bought FIFA 20 and while I play on pretty easy difficulty settings... I've enjoyed taking control of a team, making transfers, and winning games.

That said, in the past week I've had to go on-site to Worksource for unemployment related activities, I've had to do job searches around my Mom's schedule, as she's older and has needed help from time to time. And I haven't been sleeping well the last two weeks... but my plantar fasciitis acting up the last 4 days before I take a trip is annoying, and my stress is elevated even if it really doesn't need to be. So the last couple days I've played through 4-6 more FIFA matches, trying to get through the first full season of the game. But I'm really NOT enjoying it atm. Hoping I can calm down, enjoy my trip, and come back refreshed. I'll need to go grocery shopping when I get home, and clean up some things that came up in the last couple days. Hopefully with the trip behind me I can get back into a regular schedule. Right now, I feel like I'm on pins and needles and don't even know why. :/

I'm in this exact position right now. I'll turn on console, look at my installed games, and browse through the list of GP games, hoping that something will inspire me to play something, but I just end up turning off the console and watching youtube videos instead. The thing that really started me down this path was the announcement of Cyberpunk's delay. That was literally the only game I was looking forward to in the foreseeable future. Now I have to wait until at least September. That's such a long time.

In the past, what's got me off this funk is the release of a new game. Hopefully when they announce the new GP games for February there'll be something new or something good that I haven't already played...

Yes, this happened to me when I did Subnautica. I was surprised when I saw the checkmark for that quest cuz I don't PC game.

I’m in the opposite right now. I have a ton of games I want to play but I have small kids so I don’t want to miss out on life with them. A lot of nights by the time we read books and they get into bed, I’m so tired that we just end up watching a show on Netflix or Hulu and I fall asleep.

If I play Overwatch or Apex Legends it will keep me awake but I have legit fallen asleep playing Forza or TellTale games. I get up by 6:30 every morning though to get breakfast started for the kids and help get everything ready because I do school drop off on my way to work. I always figure I’ll have time to catch up on games once they are in high school and want less to do with there goofy old man.

My suggestion would be, find things you enjoy in real life, then gaming might become more enjoyable if you have less time to game.

It happened with Sea of Thieves a couple of months ago and with FH4 when PC GP first started.

I know the feeling of the itch not getting scratched. The Gamepass random button isn't bad if you commit to it. Agree with get out of your normal comfort zone. Not something you wouldn't touch. But try something you have nov idea about.

It happens to me on occasion for different reasons. Sometimes it happens after I finish an engaging long game. There’s a sense of “well, what now?” Other times, I lose interest or just can’t get to a game no matter how many I try. Dwelling on not caring/wanting to play games makes it worse. I’ll typically step back and watch tv more often, find a project around the house or increase my reading. After a bit, I’ll try a game I’ve been meaning to play from my backlog or decide to finish a game I was halfway through months ago.
This happened to me around Christmas. I decided to pick Outer Worlds back up. I didn’t play many other games and just focused on it. The story kept me interested and I finished it. After that I found a shorter story based game to finish.
This may not happen to everyone but getting burnt out from things is normal for me whether it’s games, sports, books or tv. Thankfully I have enough interests that I have something to fill the void.

Only showing 90 points instead of 150 for Bing searches and only getting 3 points per search.

Only showing 60 points instead of 100 for mobile searches and only getting 3 points per search.

Did you let your account slip back to level one from level two? Level one gets less points from searches each day.

Well, I'm gonna give the CDKeys cards a try.  The 3 Month Game Pass were down to under $10 each today.  I bought 6 of them, buying two at a time as suggested.  I figure I'll activate the 14-day code from my 5 cent/day plan, getting me on GPU, then add the 3-month Game Pass cards one at a time, till all 18 months have been added / converted.  That will get me back in the GPU plan for what... about a year?  And if I'm not using it like I have occasionally, I'll let it go when I'm done.

I've been thinking of becoming an Insider again so I can try Console Streaming, but I didn't have a good experience the last time I was in the program. After having a very unresponsive dash for too long, I opted out and it gave me a new stable dash to download as expected. When I was back up, it had wiped everything besides games from my internal drive. I had to download all my saves from the cloud, and all the pictures I took in Fallout 76 were gone (they are separate from screenshots and therefore not stored on my external drive). Is that expected behavior, and will I lose my stuff again? It didn't wipe anything when i joined, so I didn't expect it to do it when I left. Was that my punishment for leaving? :shock:

That sounds right. I don't consider it a punishment since that's the point of cloud saves and all. Standard practice of back up or put on an external anything really important like the pictures. Stay on the furthest from alpha ring you can.

If it’s truly gone, I’m somewhat sorry to see it go. It was great to get extra rewards points if you had something to easily pop an achievement in each day. Though it did disrupt playing other games too. It was a nice run.

It only worked half the time and what it ended up highlighting is how many games do not track the progress correctly.

It was fun when 50 points worked, while it didnt matter a whole lot.

I have been working on getting 2 achievements for the past 4 days where I have to score 100 goals and win 50 games (soccer) - I have easily won 25 games scoring at least 1 goal and often 6 goals and yet, I'm stuck on 89% & 24% respectively for 4 days now.

What's the dif in the uncut version and the simudub? I been getting the uncut version but it's 2 seasons behind the simu.

Simuldub is the TV version of a show that premiers in English at the same time as the original Japanese version. Sometimes they dim fast-paced scenes so viewers won't have seizures, for example. And uncut is just the true anime, without any editing or censoring.
