Xbox One Console Thread (Console is currently in stock as of 12/3 at Amazon)

Wonder when they are going to change the ship dates on us folks who are stuck with the standard console option. Trying to debate on getting it from Amazon or Best Buy since I can just monitor our inventory status at BB while working.
 
After discussing with the wife, we decided today to cancel the xbox one preorder, and use the 600+ in Amazon credit that freed up towards xmas this year, instead.  I think I'm going to hold off until bundles on the X1 next holiday season.

Makes a lot of sense. If my xbox was amazon and not gamestop, I'd probably do the same.

That's what I'm at with my Xbox One pre-order from Amazon. I'm hoping it gets moved up, which it has once already. Placed June 10th.

 
Change it to two day fool. It comes out on the 22nd, 5 days from that is the 27th. You wont get moved up anymore because that would be release date shipping plus 5 days. You silly.

Usually with prime I have an option for One Day shipping (I guess it depends on location of the item) and it's there the next day. Nothing over the top, it's been a while since I've actively checked any Amazon pre-orders or shopped through them. I have both CoD: Ghost pre-ordered for XB360 and Xbox One. Xbox 360 version is $60+ and my Xbox One is $53. I was going to do the upgrade method, but debating how I should handle this. Any ideas?

Isnt this wrong? I traded up for madden and got the xbone versipn preordered. Although they did have to promo me the $25. Maybe thats why they had to.

Also Underoath, two day shipping is release date shipping so one day basically. You'll have it the day it releases.

i was going to trade in my 360 version to gamestop and was told it had to be done once game is released on nov 19th. i hope gamestop accepts ghost with just disc seeing im getting prestige edition i hope they don't need everything that comes hard edition or i might have to pass on the deal.

 
Just put my last $100 on my pre-order. Still has the date thing, but i assume its from the huge $280 gift card I put on it the other day.

All paid off, ready to play. Now to send in my 2k14 in the next few weeks to get NBA on release

Id suggest sending it in sooner then later. The closer it gets to launch the more people will be sending it in and the TIV will keep dropping.

Yeah thats what I did. Madden 25 tanked so bad. I traded Fifa 14 and Nba 2k14 already. Fifa is trading in for $30 so Ill be paying around $8 for it which was a plus. I have a feeling the TIV will start tanking soon though with systems getting closer a lot of people will be trying to upgrade copies.

I was able to get a Madden coupon from GS from my friend. If you want to do this with FIFA, you could do a trade 2 for FIFA at GS and then return it. The coupon still stays on your account.

Just incase you want to keep FIFA longer.

I would but, Id most likely get into trouble for doing that. I work at gamestop lol, I wish I had a coupon for Madden 25.

I will be going HANDS ON with the Xbox One this weekend.  I'll take pictures unless they don't allow it.  It's just a "Test Drive" event so nothing special besides getting to hold the controller and maybe do a lap in Forza or something.

 
I am not sure if this is been mentioned yet but the game stops in my area(Roanoke, va) are having the xbone pre orders open up again. Just for For two Systems today per store just for today, so this might be extream YMMV?
 
I'm in New York, and my Gamestop also opened up pre orders for the Xbox One. He said each store should get two consoles for preorder, and corporate expected them to sell out by noon. I jumped on it and preordered one. It might be dead by now, but if anyone still wanted to preorder, it might be worth it to call.

Awesome! Awaiting for the new updated shipping date now. Cancelled my CoD: Ghost for Xbox One to apply my $10 to the Xbox 360 version that I have now on order Will be doing the upgrade to the Xbox One version once it's time to do so. Awesome help you've been.

Yep, I was on the pre-order wait list and mine just called me up, thankfully he told me I can reserve it when I get off work, can't wait.

 
is best buy doing upgrade program for games? im getting ghost from best buy. i might be in trouble with getting madden for 10 bucks seeing i got anv edition from amazon. 

 
Can't believe we are basically 4 weeks out from X1!!  Going to be sick.  Got Saints Row 4 and Batman: Origins to hold me over till that time.  Can't wait to play DR3 and Forza 5!!

 
I'd say what we should all be hoping for is that neither of the systems has any major problems at launch, and while it is very possible that they will I think it's just better for everything if we can all just sit back and enjoy our games without any hitches.

I had a quick question, how long after I buy the console do I have to purchase a Square Trade warranty on Amazon? I figured if I'm going to spend $500 in credit I might as well insure it.

 
Oh and just a FYI

If you preordered COD Ghosts through Amazon for the X1 and did not pay it off with credit already you will be getting Charged the 3rd or the 4th of Nov since it is getting released for the X1 on Nov 5th. I just talked to Amazon support and they confirmed to me that as far as they know the X1 version will be released the 5th and not the 22nd with the X1.

 
You have 30 days from the day you receive the console.
