Yet More Craigslist Stupidity!

Not Craigslist but Offer Up which is the same thing. I bought a Wii with 6 games, 3 remotes and 2 nunchuks for $35. I needed a couple of the games for my collection and for that cheap of a price I figured I'd get at least double that amount in trade credit for everything else. For $35 I wasn't expecting it to be in perfect condition and I didn't even ask the guy about condition I just handed him the money and he handed me the box. He then goes "my daughter only played it like 1 or 2 times it was just sitting in her closet. It's in practically new condition" I get it home and everything is filthy and has tons of wear. Nothing that couldn't be cleaned up or was broken so no big deal. I'm testing out the Wii and I'm looking through the data and there is saves for like 100 games going back years. 

No idea why the guy felt the need to try and bullshit me when I had already made the purchase and getting a Wii with stuff for that cheap I wasn't too concerned with the condition it was in. 

 
So this guy had a Wii for sale for $40 or best offer. I send him an offer for $25, he replies "Evrything working. I have better offers sorry". I reply "do you not want to counter offer?". He says "$40 what I asking for" so I agree since it's a bundle that goes for $90+ used everywhere else. (New Super Mario Bros + Music CD Bundle).

I ask him questions about the console since his post was vague and his pictures are blurry. Just ask him if he comes with a numchuck since I couldn't see it in the pictures. He says "no, it's in the pics". His pics aren't taken straight either so was annoyed by that.

We agree on a location and I ask him to meet me about 1 minute from where he wanted b/c we can meet inside instead of outside. He says he can't meet there b/c he doesn't want to walk with the Wii outside. Understandable, until I realize he has a car and could just drive to the building I want to meet at.

Anyways, met up with him and got it for $40. He was super sketch the whole time. Barely talked and seemed annoyed he had to brave the cold. It didn't come with a black motion plus controller but a standard white one. Either way, good score.

Same listing is continually be posted here in Louisville and I always flag it. You email the guy and he says I sold it already but he has a way to get you another for the same price if you send him the money.

I thought it was a scam, but good grief. Sounds like this guy is spamming CL in every city. Someone did flag the Albuquerque posting and it has been removed.

I like how the title says $170 but the listing says $175...So firm means firm...but slightly soft on $5.

While their $50 price is high I don't see why Amazon having it for $33 means they should match it. I think $40 is fair if theirs is brand new. You get it 2 days faster with them for a $7 fee. There is a difference between stupid people and people looking to make a little money/not lose money.

 
It's $39.99 MSRP any where retail. You're stupid if you pay MSRP price in a private sale with no warranty.

You're savings is literally your states sale tax.

Least at store you can return unopened or exchange defective.

What you are looking at is a rare misprint taco shell from Taco Bell. As you can see, the one end appears to be broken off- but that's not the case. The end, during the crafting process, was folded over causing a factory defect. Truley one in a million. I have never seen one like it. Includes taco holder and wrapper. $25 obo. Will trade for an Xbox 360 with Dead Island and Halo 3.
