One of those looks sealed, the one on the left. Two copies of Polarium as well.
Pics? Well, I posted a pic in the OTT a while back, but I think it's still saved on imageshack.

...Or Photobucket.

:D. My handheld collection (I have more GBA games than that, but those are the only boxes I have) and systems. Voila.

In easy, clickable, thumbnail form!
GODDAMN! Where did you get that storage case man? That shizzle is perfect! Even the DS games fit so snuggly.
Ordered. fuckin' thanks!

yeah. i manage to start my collection for my ds lite. from zero to 20+ in less than a month.

so far, i've tried playing half of them. yeah starting with the clearance titles first.

with the Wii on the way, i've started gathering GC titles. :bouncy:

Holy fucking shit. Explain where you got that awesome case on the left...NOW. :bouncy: Ironically enough, I was uber impressed with those ALS cases on the right side, but after seeing the left...ZOMG!

i just moved into a new house, so all my DS games are kinda sitting in a stack at the moment... so i took the time to take decent updated pictures of the big collection, before it gets all neatly shelved away...

here

and dyreschlock's case, if i'm not mistaken, is a japanese one, offered in a few different styles on the front... there was one available through club nintendo with that logo, there's a pokemon one, a warioware one... more too, i think, but i can't remember them all off the top of my head.

yeah, it's the club nintendo version.. were there really that many variants?

the case looked beautiful in the pictures i saw of it, so i tracked it down on ebay eventually. When i got it in the mail i was stunned to see how cheap it was, jesus.. i actually feel pretty ripped off by it..

hopes and dreams shattered and all.. i felt like i actually found a great DS case finally, and then it was something a 9 year old could've crafted in their metal shop class. not good strong metal though.. i could probably snap it with enough force.

sigh... though, it is pretty difficult to track down and super crazy rare, so i guess i feel good about it :shrugs:

anyways... i filled it up pretty fast, so i need another big case to hold my games.. i like the case in the middle of this page: http://club.nintendo.jp/new_present/index.html

it holds several DS Lite stylus, 9 games, and looks rather presentable compared to this 8 game case. probably just as cheaply made though.

my mistake... i just looked to find all of the variants, and it turns out that they only hold 2 games... never knew that until i looked into it, i had just assumed from seeing the outside of them that they were the same as the 8 game club nintendo case. it's the same style, just smaller i guess. but the 2 game cases come with pokemon, nintendogs, kirby, or warioware on the front...
Just got Viewtiful Joe and Phoenix Wright in the mail today :applause:

Click for fullsize!
tell me how VJ is on the ds i was thinking of getting it, but i need more people to tell me (compare it with the gc version in terms of awesomeness)

Jesus, I've never even heard of some of those games. And where the hell did you get a DS of that color?

systems-full.jpg

Anyway, my shitty, unimpressive collection only consists of:

Mario Kart DS, Feel the Magic, Resident Evil DS, and Pac'n'roll. I really need to get more.

I've never played the GC version... played a few minutes of the PS2 version though.

I received a DS Lite over the weekend from my sis, and right now I only have NSMB, but I'm probably going to pick up Madden 07 and Final Fantasy III.

I own for DS/GBA:
Mario Kart
Metroid Prime Hunters
Trauma Center
Meteos
Advance Wars DS
2006 Fifa World Cup
Final Fantasy IV Advance, LoZ Link to the Past Four Swords, and Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga

I want for DS/GBA:
Warioware
Electroplankton
Rayman
Sonic Rush
Brain Age
Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan (I don't want Elite Beat Agents)
Street Fighter Alpha 3 and Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts

And future release DS games: Final Fantasy 3
Zelda
Clubhouse Games
Yoshi's Island 2

I recently sold my fat DS in hopes that new color DS lites would be on the way. And low and behold, I may be getting a black lite soon.
Games I own (and have played through)
Phoenix Wright
Trauma Center
Polarium

There are plenty more that I am dying to play though.

How did you get the GB covers to look so professionally done though? Do you need an ultra high quality color printer and special paper for the cover?

You have to have some serious dough to import the Black DS Lite, have the phat DS, have the GBA sp, all those games, and get all the cases and print out all the cases for all those games.
You have to have some serious dough to import the Black DS Lite ...
I believe it's navy (just like mine ), but your point stands. Cheapass my ass.

EDIT: I think the other DS is imported as well. Looks like graphite grey.
How did you get the GB covers to look so professionally done though? Do you need an ultra high quality color printer and special paper for the cover?
Most of them were done at an Office Max on their Color Laser equipment, and just on whatever paper they were using. A few others (Drill Dozer, Mario Tennis) were done on my school's color laser. Not of exactly the same quality, but it got the jop done. Those are printed on just plain old laser printer paper. The plastic sleeve of the DS cases really help to give it a professional, glossy look without having to spend a fortune in materials.

Well, the phat DS is an import as well, but I sold a silver DS to a friend of mine (that I had bought used from a fellow CAGer anyway) and ended up only paying like $20 for the graphite DS. It matches the (non-import) graphite GBA SP perfectly. The cases weren't all done over night. It's been a slow trickle over a year or so. Everything I have is done now, and they probably were expensive, but spread out and done slowly, it was managable. The Navy (yeah, it's Navy, can't tell from that pic though) was stupidly expensive. Got it in March when no one could even get one in Japan, so it's got a nice story with it. The DS encourages non-cheapass behavior for em. Between release-day purchases and importing hardware, Nintendo's taken much of my money through that little gizmo.
