Your Wii Sensor Bar: On top or below your TV?

at my wii party, they set them up under the tv.
 
Mine is below, mainly because my Wii, VCR and DVD player are all on top of my TV so there's no room for it up there.

No... not a stupid poll at all. But I have a stupid question. Is there any slight advantage to one over the other? Anybody notice a difference between the two?
 
I like the bottom - the way my TV is situated, I have to actually bend my wrist slightly upwards when I'm playing with the sensor on top. Leaving it on the bottom helps with that, and it makes playing seem way more responsive.
 
Top. My TV is too low to put it below (coffee table and ever-present laptop would be much more intrusive). And it disappears when sitting on top of my black center channel speaker that's already on top of the TV.

Yes... it sure seems that is the case (for me). Cosmetically, it's better on top. But I have much better response low. So low wins.
 
Mine is below because my TV hangs on the wall. The wire from the sensor bar would look stupid just hanging down and there's no way I can fish it through the hole in the wall behind the TV without taking the TV down.

Question: Even though the sensor bar is below my TV does it need to be upsidedown (like the sticky tape facing up to be secured beneath the TV)? There's really no good solution for this stupid thing. A picture would probably help but right now I have the center speaker from my 5.1 setup below the TV and the sensor bar is on top of that. I have no other place for it.
 
Bottom. It's actually ON my TV, immediately below my screen (I attached it using removeable velcro-esque tabs) - so it works pretty well. I never use the pointer features when standing up, so bottom is best for me.
 
Top.

I tried below first, but it didn't work well while sitting on the couch as the coffee table is in the way.

Works like a charm sitting or standing with it on top.
 
Mine is on the bottom but I have to arc my wrists a little too much for comfort. I'm going to try moving it up top to see if that works better.
 
Higher is better since there is a marginally less chance for something to get in the way. Its not like you have to aim higher, since the settings account for it being there.

Same here. I have a 14 month old that loves to pull on any exposed wires she can get her hands on. I would actually rather have it on the bottom, but I think it will be much safer on top for now.
 
question, i have about a 36 inch tv but usually when i play games i like to lay on the ground in front of it, if I had the bar sitting on top of my tv while laying down would it work or should i set it on the bottom?
 
Question for anyone:

When you aim the cursor on the wii menu at eye level, does it match up? My cursor is off either half a foot higher or lower depending on where I place the bar (Horizontal is ok) I have to hold it in my lap and use it like a mouse or something. Is this normal or am I the only one?
