I'd want it in Grey Code, binary flashes too much. In Grey Code only one bit changes for each count.

Though honestly, I stopped wearing my watch and started pocketing it by the late 90s. Then my Palm III, iPod, cell phone took over my time keeping needs.
I think a lot of people have, but I can't abandon my watch. I have this reflexive habit of glancing at my left wrist when I want to know the time that is too hard to shake. On the plus side, it's not an expensive habit, as I've been wearing $20-30 Timexes for the last 30 years.

Haven't checked this thread in a while, but a few pages back Nation Red was mentioned. Has it been in a bundle? I'm always trying to find entertaining local co-op games. I don't even recall seeing it for sale on the steam buy/sell thread.

Well, Howler is definitely in it. I saw someone mention the rain drops being Drip Drip, and the car/cart in the middle being Rawbots, not too sure on those though.

EDIT: Also, the planet might be referencing OddPlanet.

I got most of those guesses from Momo1991 over on the GOG forums, so credit goes to her.

You both get likes because you tied for delivering the news.

Ocean City Racing  - Maybe

BrokenEarth - Not sure yet. Leaning towards no right now.

The Howler - the clip in the video doesn't look too enticing. I'll probably pass.

Drip Drip - Not interested

Residue - I'll have to do some more research. Can't figure out what it is. Some hilariously bad animations in the clip though.

Paradigm Shift - What the hell is this?

Overlight - Call me crazy, but this seems like the most appealing game in the video to me. Kinda tetris-y, but that's OK with me.

Rawbots - Not enough to go on from the clip in the video. I'll have to do some research.

Rooks Keep - Another Maybe.

Ill buy them all because....I have a problem

The Howler
Ocean City Racing
Drip Drip
Residue
Rooks Keep
BrokenEarth
Overlight
Rawbots
Paradigm Shift

I'll probably pick up Rawbots, OverLight, and Rooks Keep. I'll have to think more about Residue and Paradigm Shift. Ocean City Racing, The Howler, and BrokenEarth are probably nots. Drip Drip is a an almost-definite no.
Thanks for the links, so far I'm thinking:

The Howler - Looks really weird, but since I got a free headset maybe it would be interesting.

Ocean City Racing - Pass, I'm not a big enough racing fan to bother.

Drip Drip - Not afraid to admit this actually looks like fun, so I will probably get it if it since I love casual games (yeah, keep laughing)

Residue - Can't say either way, hoping to hear from someone about this.

Rooks Keep - No thanks

Broken Earth - Unclear if this is multiplayer only or not, if so another pass.

Overlight - Really liking the look of this, will almost certainly get it.

Rawbots - Genre: Massively Multiplayer, Simulation = Instant pass

Paradigm Shift - No clue WTF this is, so probably a pass.

Overall seems like a decent bunch of games, though I can't say I have high hopes of any of them getting through greenlight.

Video just posted: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0Mpy_me8PU

I'll update the OP with links and what not
just a heads up, if you select the link and click unlink it embeds the video :)

The Howler: Hilarious. You make noise in a microphone to make your hot air balloon fly, so if you wanna play, you'll be sitting at your computer going "Whooooooooo... oooooo.... OOOOOOOO". fucking hilarious, I can't decide if I want it or not.

Ocean City Racing: Doesn't look terrible, but it looks like a sandbox game with weak graphics and no real point to doing anything. You walk around, find cars to just get in and drive, and there are some races too. Doesn't look very good at all.

Drip Drip: Described as a drip catching RTS? People seem to be amused by it, but I don't think I'd ever play it.

Residue: Tried watching the trailer, and as soon as it got going it ended. fuck-up on the dev's part? I dunno, the voiceovers were crappy and the animation was horrible. Doesn't look like something I'd play.

Rooks Keep: This actually looks fun. ARPG style deathmatch game, just running around killing shit. The graphics look really good, and the gameplay looks solid. Afraid it may be more of a multiplayer game (with nobody playing, probably), but it says you can play with bots too. There's also a chess mode, and a combat chess mode... Not sure about that. I'll grab this one though. The dev also said they're at around the 45% mark in the top 100 Greenlight games, so this may have a better chance of getting greenlit.

BrokenEarth: This looks pretty cool. Top down shooter with crazy fast paced combat, tons of movement, multiplayer or singleplayer. Looks solid and fun, I'd down for this one.

Overlight: I'm gonna stay away from this one. I'm thinking I don't want epilepsy.

Rawbots: Looks like a charming robot building/battling/exploring sandbox game. It has local co-op, so I'll grab it and play it with my younger cousin.

Paradigm Shift: Yuck. Looks like an ancient point and click, back when there was little to no animation. All the videos I've watched of it have NO animation. Looks really bad. Cheesy same old story too, lab explodes, everyone turns into zombies. No thanks.

Well that certainly make the research easier. I could have gone to all the Greenlight pages myself I suppose, but lets face it, I'm a lazy fuck.

Thanks.

Only checked out the Howler so far. Looks like my initial instinct was correct. Not interested.
With the amount of linking/work you did for the GOG sale, I wouldn't be surprised. ;)

Think the casual games in this one appeal to me the most (Drip Drip looks kind of fun). Will likely go for that, Residue (just to try it looks kind of not so hot), and maybe Paradigm shift....sucker for adventure games even horrible ones. An OK set of games though.

There are a lot of awesome-looking games on Greenlight, and none of 'em are in this bundle. Rawbots looks ok and could conceivably get Greenlit, but the rest look like crap and have virtually no chance imo.  :???:

Rooks Keep, BrokenEarth, and Rawbots all look excellent. Not sure why people are interested in Residue and Paradigm Shift... They look terrible, lol.

I actually watched videos for each game and did reading... perhaps that's swaying my opinion.

Bundle is live, and first bonus goal is the Paradigm Shift soundtrack. Just thought you guys should know, since it's an amazing bonus.

You guys are going to regret passing on Ocean City Racing when I come back here to brag about how awesome it is.

But in all seriousness, I'll probably grab a couple of the games eventually.  Maybe Rawbots and Drip Drip.

Agree about Rooks and Rawbots, but I'm not sold on Broken Earth--doesn't look like my kind of game at all. I'm interested in Residue mainly for the story--gameplay looks mediocre. Paradigm Shift looks dubious but I grabbed Ocean City Racing because it looks like it has potential?

Bought in, we'll see if I like any of these.  I read something about zombies somewhere so I am sure one of these games is a surefire, well crafted gem.

I prefer worthless F2P packs :(

I mean music isn't bad and others here have said they enjoy it.  I just have very narrow tastes in music so monocledeer doesn't entice me.

Played Rooks Keep last night (just against bots). Awesome little game, lots of options for setting up the game, super easy to pick up and start chopping away. I thought it was gonna be good, and it is indeed good. Excellent graphics too.

Seriously, everyone needs to buy it so we can have a big ol' CAG slaughterfest.

Deal!

As for BrokenEarth... just fired it up and it wants me to make an account. Okay, so I fill out the fields, put in the game key, and continue. It gives me a popup saying something like "Some of the fields were filled out incorrectly.", and then another popup that says "Registration complete!". Okay... so I try to log in. It tells me my username and password don't match. Awesome. I try to register again... and it tells me that email was already registered.

So yeah, pretty lame. All the while I've never received an email notice for signing up, so I'm clueless of what to do. It's not like I can make another account, since I used the game key on first account. I looked up the problem on Google, and the only thing I found was a comment from the dev saying that a problem of newly registered users not being to log in was fixed, and the comment was rather old.

Anyone else have any luck? Otherwise, I'd steer clear of the game.
