Anyone else having issues downloading with origin? My Dead space 3 download keeps resseting itself. It will get to like 60% then drop back down to 15%. Rinse and repeat.
I was having the same issue and typed in my error code in google and found this solution that worked over at the answers.ea.com website:
There should be a new beta version of Origin that's supposed to address the issue

Try if it works with that.

- Launch Origin and log in with your account
- Click Origin in the top left (main menu)
- Select Application Settings
- From General tab, scroll down to "Update to the beta version if available" and tick the checkbox
- Restart Origin
Just downloaded the Mass Effect 3 (Not in bundle) Extended Cut without a problem with this method and will go back to downloading Dead Space 3 that would keep restarting like yours. They say it is an issue with unstable internet connections which I have at only 50KB/sec download speed yeah you read that right, can't wait to get back to my home internet.

So beating the average on Day One actually against CAG programming.
not at all, there is still plenty of reason to BTA on day one (original BTA games, giving to charity, to support Humble, etc.) and I usually do so assuming I'm not strapped for cash and have at least a mild interest in the games offered :)

No the bonus games are almost always to my knowledge for those that beat the average. You can increase your donation to get above the average to get the bonus games. But even if your original payment was at that time above the average and the average later increases you still get everything added.
Actually, everyone that gets the bundle gets the bonus games as long as they bought the bundle before the bonus games were added.

So if you buy the bundle before the bonus games are added do you get them?

Also, no bonus games?

Ill ask the same questions in tebowese just to cover all bases

If buy cllction now bons gams added then ea or u get bta for all games?

Wheere bonses games I say wat happn

Drabes you pot stirrer  you been around long enough to know the drill.

*Edit: We should petition Google to add a Tebowdragonese to English translator.

Not until Steam Winter Sale.

You need to unlock them with Origin Card Dollars which you get from being in the Origin Card Dollar Super Alpha. I'll trade you an invite for five copies of Derp Space 2, Uplay version only.
[H] Derp Space 2 card dollars [W] Derp Space 2 holographic card dollars... 5:1 trade only plz.

Know who is making a killing off this bundle? Amazon, Paypal, and Google. At $0.30 + 1.9% (volume discount) per transaction, of the total of $8.1 million brought in, $659,000 is being paid in payment processing alone. A company that has as many transactions as Humble probably has negotiated a better deal than that percentage, but that's an insane figure.

Tried this, and the dead space 3 download get up to about 50% now and then drops to 40% and then to 20%. This just keeps occuring, and I might just give up on it and write off the origin games as a loss.

I got an update yesterday on KoA and ME2 on Origin. I don't know what was updated, I don't even have ME2 installed, but seems to be a DLC or something

This happened to me with Battlefield 3, kept dropping over and over, try to just keep it going man, that's what I did and it eventually downloaded. I had the download window open as well, dunno if that mattered.

Hi,

Know who is making a killing off this bundle? Amazon, Paypal, and Google. At $0.30 + 1.9% (volume discount) per transaction, of the total of $8.1 million brought in, $659,000 is being paid in payment processing alone. A company that has as many transactions as Humble probably has negotiated a better deal than that percentage, but that's an insane figure.
Well, the lion's share of those transaction fees is going to go from the companies you mentioned to Mastercard and Visa. The processors will have made $100k-$300k.

Depending on whether the Humble Bundle guys spend the transaction fees out of their cut or not, the killing will have been made by Humble Bundle instead. The default slider is 15% Humble Tip, which would come out to $1.2 million so far (assuming nobody changed the defaults, though on the whole that is what I expect will have happened on average). Even if they pay the transaction fees out of their cut (which, let's face it, is unlikely -- they'll likely apply the percentages after-fee), according to your math they'd be sitting at about half a million dollars.

I don't begrudge them for it, but it is interesting numbers :)

You will also have to take into account chargebacks, cancellations, etc.; there are enough sleazeballs out there that some will have used carded cc numbers to buy keys to resell, plus regular joe sleazeballs who just don't really feel like letting Humble keep the money. I don't know what the rate will be on Humble Bundles, but that probably takes a bite out of the transaction fee profits, too

just wait it out,  after the humble bundle  is over or lose some steam, origin  servers will blaze downloads an games will work fine. happens on steam too every major sale .

Just had a thought, perhaps EA is really trying to be generous for PR, that the bonus games unlock at the end so everyone gets it. It would be a huge boost in being liked, and would be interesting to see, no?

No. The reason they add bonus games in the middle of the two-week campaign is to goose sales when they've naturally slowed down. They blew past 1 million sold in 25-1/2 hours (IIRC) and will be at *just* another 700K (which would be the 2nd best-selling bundle itself) after another WEEK. If the idea is to move as many bundles as possible, then you want to sweeten the pot sooner than later because it will force the fence sitters to buy in at the BTA price.

Battlefield 3 MP sucks donkey balls.  It's just like BF Bad Company 2, which was great for its time, but now outdated.  Plus the terrain destruction compared to Bad Company 2 is minimal.

Don't think they'll be attracting too many new buyers with these bonuses.

Haven't played Populous since the mid-'90s... but not sure if I'm feeling THAT nostalgic.

Yeah, my only idea now is that they plan to add another set of bonuses later.
Either that, or they decided that the bundle has sold plenty and they didn't need to add the extra games. It's raised over 8 million, which is about 3 million more than the previous record for a Humble Bundle.

Even launching DOSBOX still forces Origin on Populus. Eh, if I want to pay that version I just boot up the SNES game.

I thought they might have modernized Populus - I remember playing it back in 1990 or so! - but it looks like the same 24-year-old game. WTF? What's next, Crush, Crumble and Chomp and Sim City (the original one!)?

I love populous, I think is a nice addition. Would be better if it was populous 2, but still. And just completed my steam C&C collection. Great bundle

Aww, really wanted Bulletstorm.  Or jeez they could have thrown in The Saboteur since it's origin exclusive.  I would have liked that too.

BUT, RICK FLAIR!  WHOOO!

Correct me if im wrong, THQ humble bundle didn't got a second round of bonus games? maybe with EA bundle is the same?

Probably will be. These bonuses are probably weak for a reason.. the bundle is still selling pretty well. Makes sense to add the crappier bonuses first, then add the good ones later once sales reach their peak.
