F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

Those Luigi's mansions always go super fast, still trying to grab one.
I bought mine on the 18th, it shipped on the 28th and should get here tomorrow. I don't know what AWD is with taking so long to ship when I had the other 3 games from my orders, including a later order, already ship.

Because I wanted to buy it? I dunno. Why do people buy games they enjoy?
No, that is no where near the question what I meant. I meant why buy a game you already own on PS+? If you like physical copies AND digital copies, then I guess be my guest. I was merely saying that you could have used that $18 on something more useful--maybe a different game.

You're missing his point. Why do people buy blu rays of movies they've already seen? Or CDs they've heard but want to listen to anytime anywhere? So they can physically own some sort of media which they enjoy. Some people also like to collect different things. Ive had my fair share of games that have been given away but I CHOSE to still buy it and own it physically cause I like the game that much. Small reason for others may be to save hard drive space for those 15GB plus games on PS3 or 3GB plus on VITA.

Picked up a G 3dsXL Dream Gear for 12.xx.  Said the package may be damaged, and I don't give two flips about the packaging for something like that.  Heard good things about it.  Have also heard bad things, (like it wont stay on the system) so fingers crossed.

Nothing exceeds like excess.

Got Luigi's Mansion and NSMB2 in today...  Freaking love Luigi's Mansion so far! Tho I don't know why, but I absolutely hate NSMB2. It feels like the same crap as all the other classic Mario Games. Am I missing something? Any amazing twists to the formula that's later? I haven't played a Mario game in years and it feels stale.

Also, how is 3D land?

I feel the same about the NSMB franchise in general. They've all felt like remixes of the previous game. Which stinks because I'd be fine with the old school formula if they took a few chances in level design here and there.

3D Land is great, play it.

Any word on the Xbox Ones that were ordered a few days ago?

I might be throwing the hat in the ring for one of these.

Preferably in the "Good" condition to get a better price.

Joking, right?

fuck that mother fuck ing sh!t.

I got free expedited shipping with Elite Plus at Best Buy and I can get Netflix if I decide I need content to stream (I haven't used Amazon prime for streaming).

I wonder how much it will be if you are a college student... or have access to a .edu email.

Amazon doesn't think it will lose customers?!?!?

My amazon shopping dropped considerably once they started taxing. Amazons pricing is not always the best anymore, especially with stores price matching. Nowadays I shop amazon when I know I won't make it to a store or no one else has the item. There is no way in hell I would pay that much for prime and if I don't have prime, my shopping at amazon will be extremely limited

You're right about the price matching - meanwhile, it's so hard to get amazon to match other offers. Amazon Prime is definitely not worth it for $120 - I'm not even sure if it's worth it for me to renew Prime for $39 in March since I just finished school in December (though I can still get the student rate one more year). Really shady of them to remove the 'turn off auto-renewal' button too - now you have to contact customer service.

The prime model was always a loser, it created a disparity between regular shopper and primers.  And they've been slipping with even their prime customers more and more lately in terms of getting things out right, using cheaper methods, etc.

They should have employed a tiered free shipping model, or at least required a minimum purchase instead of people expediting toothpaste to their front door.  The add on item thing may have helped deal with some of that, but as the price increases, and restrictions do also, what's the point.  Their free super shipping is the most annoying shipping online.

I honestly don't think it's overpriced at $120, and I haven't had a problem at $79. To help with cost all you have to do is let 4 other people join your account and have them pay 1/5 of the share......not that mindblowing.

You act like everyone has 4 friends or family members that use amazon.

Picked up a copy of Dead Rising 3 for $29.69 just now. Just FYI in case anyone wanted to know how much, they go to. Last week they had LN copies for $37 or so if I recall. This was G or A, but for $30, I'll take it.

The thing being lost in the discussion of the possible Prime price increase is that one of Amazon's executives clearly states in the article that it will only rise $20-$40 over current prices. I imagine $99 a year is the tipping point for most consumers, myself included. I doubt Amazon would push Prime above that threshold.
