New Thread:

This thread has been replaced by TSDT v11

Daily Deal:
Please check the Steam homepage.

Weeklong Deals:
Steam usually has week-long deals that change on Mondays at 6PM UTC. They mostly feature indie games, and may not run every week.

Sale summary lists:

Key:
⤷ indicates DLC, — specifies part of a pack, + shows alternative versions, ⚠ highlights things worth knowing, ♫ is obvious, and ... denotes a multi-pack.

Holiday Sale 2013 | 19/12/13 through 3/1/14:
Days 1-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12, 13-14.

Spring/Autumn Sale 2013 | 27/11/13 through 3/12/13:
All days.

Steam deals on other stores: (Related threads on CAG.)

Indie* bundle threads: (*Not always indie, nor always a bundle.)

Free stuff:
There are quite a few free games (mostly Free to Play) and mods available via the Steam platform, a comprehensive list of which can be found in this thread on the SPUF.
(NOTE: free games are not permanently attached to your Steam account like actual purchases would be. You'll need to manually download a game again from the website if you uninstall it.)

10,000,000 will be bundled right after everybody else has received a free copy of the sequel. And we'll all remind you of that, Mooby. Yes we will.

I have a request. I've been watching the Sochi Winter Olympics and it's given me a MUSTPLAYNOW bug. What snowboarding/skiing games are there out there that are worth playing? (PC/PS3/360) I played SSX Tricky back in the day and loved that, something similar would be great.

I've seen Snow on Steam Early Access, but I'm not paying money for an alpha of an eventually-F2P game. I have enough Early Access shite already.
SSX 3 is still the best. The new SSX felt blah to me. Shaun White Snowboarding is okay, decent terrain, passable controls, not as good as SSX 3, but there is a PC version that occasionally be had for a couple bucks. Tricks aren't nearly as satisfying as SSX though. SNOW isn't even close to being good yet.

I keep a PS2 in somewhat working condition just to feed my biannual SSX urges.

Just to note, I've added Victory: The Age of Racing to my list of options which is being released today on Early Access.

You can check it out here: http://store.steampowered.com/app/264120 so let me know if you'd like that as a new favourite.
That does in fact look like it could turn out nice. I think I would prefer that over the other two I listed. I would be up for any of the three but I think that does top it for me now. Doubt I'll win in the stream though. I haven't won one yet.

Enjoyed your Sunday stream. I thought KAMI looked neat. Will definitely be watching today's stream of Secrets of Raetikon (I was voting for that one all week!) and now I'll be sure to check out Sunday's stream for Victory (thanks for pointing this out) and Probably Archery.

Keep up the good work!

Have made a preliminary stream schedule for this week, all starting at 7.30pm GMT on http://twitch.tv/carlmundo

Monday: CastleMiner Z, Secrets of Raetikon, Dead Sky
Tuesday: Steam Bandits: Outpost, Arcane Worlds, Jets'n'Guns Gold
Wednesday: Car Mechanic Simulator 2014, aerofly FS
Thursday: King of Fighters XIII

Also, I was thinking of doing another stream on Sunday (to better suit those in NA) at a similar time as the turnout was pretty good yesterday.

Would you guys be interested in any of these as prizes?
the last one yes the other not so much but lasst one for me only heh :p

I'm assuming you have no Wii or Wii U? If you did:

Otherwise, this is what you want:

So the weeklong deals actually look pretty decent for a change.  I'm tempted to pick up Disciples II Rise of the Elves with card money (yes I missed it when it was bundled), but when I tried Gallean's Return I couldn't get it to launch on my Win7 system.  Only Steam game I ever bought that I couldn't get to run at all (admittedly, I didn't try that hard).  Anyone have experience running these games on 64-bit systems?

Rats! I will be sitting in a dentist chair during today's broadcast and of course those giveaways are my primary interest for the week. Stupid teeth upkeep!

Thanks for streaming Carl! I enjoy watching/listening to you guys while I work.

Dan and Ben double pack on sale again, ha.

IT'S STILL TOO DAMN EXPENSIVE. Ten dollars? Are you serious?

This huge discount makes me think it'll be pulled soon... I better try to grab it from a friendly Russian.
The psychological games are working for Activision...lol

Maybe this will be a new strategy. License a game, get all the sales from fan boys upon release, then get more sales when you inform hoarders you are not renewing the license and the game is getting pulled.

I have yet to find a game that won't play at all on Win7 64-bit pro. I may have to run it as admin, or in one of the many compatibility modes, or find some sort of tweak, but they all work eventually. I have not tried the above game though.

It's not so much "hoarders", I just want the game because it's garbage. :p

I need to find a friendly Aussie to get the game for me.

Whoops, forgot to pick up 10,000,000.  Curse whomever said to wait to see if it would see a bundle.  >.<

(Guess I didn't really want it that much, huh?)

Did it include the UKIP weather forecast too? That's always entertaining.

p.s. Radio 4? Are you in your forties or something?
LOL, no, thanks I hadn't seen that one. They remixed UKIP with gay marriage and rain/flooding, suggesting buying plane tickets for to-be-married gay couple to Africa where the rain would do some good (and of course, implicitly, to get rid of them).

Nah, but BBC programs have such awfully bland names that it helps to add in a bit extra when searching for them. I consume all my radio programs by podcast (when I want, and with a pause button).

But what's the verdict on the game? Is it as bad as they say? I love me some Walking Dead, but I keep looking at that $10 pricetag.
From what I've played, it's neither as bad as they say, but not very good either. It's a pretty generic FPS and it doesn't take full advantage of the license. It's one of those games you are supposed to be able to stealth through but in reality it's just not possible, but it's also not very fun/easy to just run and gun through it. Story is pretty generic. Objectives are not obvious at all times. Basically its like a sloppily done game. Still playable and I'll still finish it eventually.

Spankers Mcgee just won Dead Sky. I think you all know who I mean. Congrats.
