No worries, it's no biggie.  I probably would have played it about as much as I did on the free weekend anyway

No. But I'm hosting a group buy for Skullgirls if you want in. It's $2.82 a person.
Thanks, but I think I'll just keep holding out for a bundle. For me, it's that level of want where I'd like to play it someday, but if it never appears in a bundle and I don't get it because of that, I won't be too broken up over it.

You can't activate any DLC on steam if you don't own the base game, so no.
That's weird. I could've sworn I grabbed some free SR4 DLC in the past, and I certainly don't own that yet.

Apperantly Blackwell Deception has recieved card in some time near past. It was free sometime somewhere, so you probably might have it.

Wait, this is what it took to shatter your faith in Greenlight?! Not the Snotman game or the myriad pixel-art roguelike clones, inexplicable Japanese things and items that don't even really qualify as games by most meaningful standards?
Ahem.

Not only is this a terrible game as evidenced by the clear lack of much work put into it (the building scenario is extremely crude and the train isn't much better--hell, there aren't even any cross-ties on the tracks) it's a monstrous premise for a game. At least things like this actually take mental illness seriously. This is an ill-conceived venture and I hope it dies a horrible death.

No. And next time it goes on sale the individual dlcs will actually double in price to screw early purchasers of the game. Even those that got the base game for free.
Well, the Season Pass is $10 and comes with everything except for the RPK (which is $1 and not even worth it), and the Ranger Mode (which is $5, and still bullshit that it was sold separately, but only worth it for people who want to bang their head against the wall in frustration). I don't think it'll be that bad.

Works for me seeing as I own none of it. :bouncy:

Still not low enough for me to double dip. Praying for bundle.. someday.

Really? I have it on 3DS and I really enjoy it. What didn't you like about it?
Everything. It was pretty linear, the mining didn't feel satisfying, required a ton of backtracking and time traveling if you die. All you did was collect different color stones, trade them in for money, and buy upgrades. That's all there is to the game. The boss fight at the very end was fun, but then it ended and I didn't really have any interest in replaying it.

Do you mean the sale is non-US based? Does it mention that somewhere?
They don't mention it as far as I can see. I remember posting a GetGames Ubisoft sale in the past and someone (Fox maybe?) mentioned that the Ubi sales from GGG were restricted to non-US customers. Just to check, I added all the games to cart and went through the checkout process and most games were removed due to my US based address.

Interesting, I never realized that. Good to know. Thanks.

Beware Planet Earth steam keys are up for people that bought it from IGS and Groupees Build a Bundle.

Is CoJ: BiB one of those games? I'd rather not sign up for an account just to find out it's not. Thanks.

Also, is it Uplay or Steam?

No key for IR's Debut Bundle 4, though... seems I chose poorly how to spend my pennies.

Hope they'll add for that one too, along with a key for Bollywood Wannabe :)

GetGames lists the DRM on the item page. Also, #TrueCAGs have accounts in place at all major (and some minor) online retailers. Nothing is worse than an awesome glitch popping up and you're fumbling to set up an account.

CoJ: BiB will get removed from cart. I listed the ones that don't get removed in the deals post, but just be wary of buying them if the sale is generally regional.

It's not uPlay or Steam, its a keycode. From GetGames FAQ:

Keycode: This game has an unspecified DRM and install files must be unlocked with the keycode provided. These are not Steam/Uplay/Origin/Tages/GFWL keycodes!

I think there is still the issue that if you got Rising Storm before RO2, you are unable to purchase RO2 due to it thinking you already own it when all RS includes is the RO2:MP and RO2:HoS Beta.
That's possible, but also RO2 was in a couple of bundles.

It seems so. I have RO2:MP and RO2:HoS Beta in my library and it tells me that I own RO2.

Six bundles up at Indie Gala, each one crappier than the last.

Good point. I have an account at most of the big ones except for GameFly because blacklist.

Of course it is. Thanks, not even worth it then.

I had looked but it just said "key" and I wasn't sure if that meant Steam key or Uplay key.

Daily Deal
Skullgirls - $14.99 $7.49 [customspoiler=DLC]

[/customspoiler]
I'm sorry, but that sale is a joke. I expected at least $5 like they had it at the GMG sale the other day. Considering they just had a sale on it yesterday for $3.75 at Gamersgate of all places, this sale at double that price is just no. No. They've really been skimping with the sales on this game.

Looking like getting it for $2.82 last night was the smart move after all, am I right fellow groupbuyers?

I'm especially disappointed because I really wanted Squiggles and the Color Palette bundle since I got Big Band. At $1.25 each (75% vs 50% off), I easily would have bit to complete the main game I bought last night. But I'm not paying more than I paid for the game for a character and some different colours. Especially when that character was free for three months prior.

For any people who are part-console peasant like me, Squiggles and Big Band are both free on 360 right now and you can "buy" them before owning the game. I'd recommend grabbing them for when the eventual sale on Encore happens (at this rate, a million years from now).

Wait, people actually buy stuff from the Gala store?

...that said, now I am regretting buying Sacred Gold from GOG for $2 earlier this year.

Ooh, thanks for the heads up. I'll just hoard Bing points till the next XBL sale on the base game and get it there. Tired of waiting for a bundle on this.

And as a special bonus, I'll be able to play it with an awesome d-pad on my 360!

I think Sacred Gold is the only Sacred I don't have on Steam (got Sacred 2 Gold and Citadel from that Deep Silver Humble). I have it retail, but at this price, I don't know if I can say no to a Steam version.

Skullgirls has yet to be on sale on 360, but I assume a 50% off sale will happen sometime within the next year. But even if it doesn't, better to grab the DLC characters now before they end up costing $5 each.

The only annoying thing is they promised the color palette DLCs would be free upon re-release and went back on that. Possibly because they offered Big Band for free instead. This wouldn't be so annoying if they sold them in 1 $5 pack like they do on Steam, but they sell 8 of them separately for $1 each with no package available. This works out better for people who only want the extra colours for one character, but is annoying to people like me who would prefer the packaged deal also.

with kof xiii (finally), mk9, and  sf4 on steam it's hard to recommend skullgirls at any price outside a bundle imo

I disagree, Skullgirls has a really unique artstyle going for it and pretty awesome character designs. Gameplay may not be quite as good as those two but it's still pretty solid.
Isn't gameplay what fighting games are all about? I don't know because I only own them I don't play them....
