Some of those card prices are pretty tempting, too. Maybe I should get in before the inevitable bundling.

Come to think of it, I think I own it on DS. I haven't even touched that thing in years, though :/

 
Dementium 2 was already 75% off on GG wasn't it? So it's only an extra 5% off for the flash sale. Still a nice deal, but I don't know if I'll bite cuz of it being bundle fodder.

I think the MSRP has since dropped. I could be wrong, though. Bundle material yes, but at the current rate of repeats in bundles...seems a bit risky. I'm biased, however, as I generally dislike DT stuff.

Edit: Maybe not, I thought it was $19.99 originally. So yeah, I guess the lowest previously was $3.75.

I know I'm a broken record about this, but Tremorgames.com has alleviated some of the bundle issue repeats. They are a rewards site like swagbucks but you can redeem your coins for games and they get most bundles and divide them up so you can buy games from a bundle and usually for a very reasonable price.

 
After Amazon W2 Glitch I'm a little disappointed... I don't think GG can beat that even on purpose.. oh well let's see what they bring us today.

 
Stupidly awesome price on the ME Trilogy.  ME3 multiplayer is still active and fun as anything I have played in the past few years.

I'm considering buying the Trilogy just for the Pinnacle Station DLC. <insert MysterD rant about wasting game keys from bundles here>

 
So, was the DLC never available on Steam for any of the ME games? It's obvious the Trilogy was never available there as the third game isn't listed, but I'm curious.

Also, feel free to judge, but I've been holding out for the Trilogy on 360 for $20 for ages, as I've never owned/played any of the ME games, but with the recent questionable leak of the Xbone/PS4 port, I may give up on that in the hopes that the Xbone/PS4 version comes with all available DLC. Which means PC could get a collection with everything included as well, simultaneously.

Hope is futile. DLC is unavailable on Steam because the only way to get it is via Bioware Points. But any purchased DLC will be activated through your Bioware account and be available in your Steam versions.

Bought the Trilogy. Would feel very #fakeCAGly if not for Neuro's previous 74 Mass Effect purchases. Thanks for setting a bad example for the rest of us.

Wait for 75%. They've already been 75% off. I forget where I got mine from but I believe Newegg and GMG have both had them 75% off before, minus the recently released one of course.

For the uninitiated PC gamer newbs who are recent console refugees, newer EA games are not on Steam because Steam changed their terms of service some time ago to require that if you sell the base game then you must sell the DLC as well or else you can't sell the game on Steam. EA refused to comply and some games like Dragon Age 2 got yanked while others after that point just didn't get added at all, like ME3. Certain games already on Steam before the change in terms, like Sims 3 and older Bioware stuff, are grandfathered in and can still sell the base without selling the DLC on Steam but going forward it's not going to happen. So far EA and Valve have been playing chicken for almost 3 years now and neither is willing to blink.

Edited to add: The sucky thing about EA monopolizing the DLC is that there's no competition and it almost never goes on sale. Seems to be part of their strategy to get you in the door with a cheap base game and then once you're hooked you're paying full price for DLC. For Bioware stuff there really hasn't been a complete re-release with all DLC since Dragon Age Origins: Ultimate Edition AFAIK. That ME triology is not complete with all DLC, though which DLC you get varies from platform to platform.

FWIW, the way the Bioware DLC works is if you own it on one platform you own it on all of them, so if you buy DLC on PS3 you also own it for 360 and PC and vice versa. It all connects through your Bioware account in the game itself, even for the games on Steam.

I already knew the bolded stuff (which is why Origin exists is the only option for most newer EA games, etc), but thank you. The ME Trilogy not coming with everything is why I'm on the fence about it.

Did not know that the DLC is crossbuy. That's cool.

Well not exactly. Origin could exist and they could still sell their games on Steam if EA were willing to sell the DLC on Steam. Ubisoft does this. People bitch to high heaven about their games on Steam requiring UPlay but it's doable. EA is just insistent that they be the sole source for DLC and Valve's take is you won't sell those games here then.

Plus Origin existed before that all went down anyway.

That might have been what got them to pack up and switch to Origin, but I think at this point even if Valve lifted that restriction they wouldn't go back to Steam. Origin has enough of a foot in the market and EA games will sell anywhere, that it makes much more sense for them to stick with Origin and not have to give anyone else a cut.

I knew EA and Valve had a squabble over EA wanting exclusive rights to distribute DLC. I did not know what game it was over, as previous EA games have had DLC available on Steam. I've never gotten into ME, so I didn't know if ME was one of the games that they refused to sell DLC on Steam for.

By exists, I mean what they turned it into, but you're right, they could have done a Uplay thing anyways.

So I can buy the trilogy which activates on Origin and get the DLC for my ME steam games?

Dragon Age 2 + Crysis 2 were what got kicked off Steam - b/c of Steam's new DLC rule that "ALL DLC of new games must appear also on Steam."

Also, C2: Max Ed got its re-release on Steam later, since Crytek's a EA Partners program member - and Crytek wanted it back on Steam...since game companies w/ the EA Partners program had some leeway in how and where the game can be distributed (i.e. also see 38 Studios and BHG with having KOA: Reckoning also on Steam).

Let's also keep in mind - EA has been trying to buy-out Valve for years...and Valve every time just will NOT comply...
