Freaking console peasants...

If you're going to post the deal, at least do me a solid and format it correctly.

Ok, so what's the best deal on Watch Dogs Deluxe? I'm even considering buying a non-Steam version. :headache:

I toyed with getting it on PS4 but when I heard it will be 1080p/60 I knew the fps would be dropping a lot. PS4 can't handle that game at 60.

Hmm, regular edition Nvidia code for $30 or deluxe from GetGamesGo for $52.49. Yowch, can't justify that price increase for 2 hrs of additional content.

I knew you were saying it jokingly, but I actually hadn't updated the CN thread in awhile so there was some truth to your comment.

Anyway, everything is up to date now, for all of the three people who read the OPs.
The CN Rewards OP looks really good now. Well done.

Wait, you're honest about the limitations of the PS4?? You're a terrible fanboy. :p

I feel Watch Dogs is unproven and I also was uncomfortable about pre-ordering it, but at $22 it's not that big of a risk... it looks good from what I've seen and I know someone who worked on the game and she has good things to say about it, she's played through it

Good sig Motoki!

Y U no git frend 2 giv 4 free?

congratulations to Man City for winning the EPL. Now when can i see a 75% off discount for FIFA 14 on gmg or amazon?
Congrats to Liverpool for crushing my dreams once again. Neither FIFA nor PES has really cracked the $20 barrier yet, which means I actually got a game I wanted out of PS+ that I hadn't previously purchased for cheap on PC! :D/

In Pitchfork News: Uprising44 (Flying New Year and Groupees Capsule 2 bundles) keys still aren't out and looks like the dev has gone into hiding. Not sure if it's even worth complaining about since the game looks like ass, but if a few certain somebodies feel like crapping on some white knights...

personally i want to see how watch dogs turns out...i have some doubts.
I have it on uh... good authority... that it's pretty solid.

Looks nice, hacking the environment to work to your advantage is nice and free flowing with the gameplay, driving mechanics are great, and the various multiplayer modes are pretty unique and interesting.

I've said too much... *gets shot*

That would be taking advantage and make me a scumbag asshole. I said I know her but we aren't exactly friends. Just friendly, just had some conversations online. Not sexual!
Well there's your first problem.

Seconded although if you have to FAKECAG a game then it might as well be an Ubisoft game. It's not like they do deep discounts any time remotely soon after release.
Ironically, Ubisoft games are some of the quickest to do deep discounts in regards to their console versions. Just got ACIV for $14 for my little brother the other day.

Oh, so THAT was one of the games. Neat. :p

I think it's finally time. :bouncy:

On 2nd thought I'll be kicking myself when it's 75% off on Steam within the next 1-2 weeks. I'll wait.

I just bought Watch Dogs UPLAY EDITION fuuuu- but the price is so goooood :whee:
Definitely wanna know what you think of Watch Dogs PC (Uplay Edition), once you play it.

Finished Bioshock Infinite, half of Clash in the Clouds and both Burial at Sea episodes. BS:I base is fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed the gameplay and the story; I'll be playing it again. Clash in the Clouds is more fun than I expected. Like Dunwall City Trials with Dishonored, it allows you to play around with different loadouts/playstyles pretty easily. I'm not a survival mode type person, but I found it fun. Then there's the other DLCs... BaSE1 was enjoyable to revisit Rapture and the story was OK, but it was pretty short. I wouldn't have minded it so much, but just when things were getting interesting it was over. Then came BaSE2, which story-wise was good, but the gameplay was so drastically different than how I was playing previously it was like a bucket of ice cold water thrown in my face. I was not expecting such a shift in style that it really hampered my enjoyment of the content. Have to say, I'm disappointed.

Yeah, Bs:I was absolutely fantastic - loved it.

You had the same complaint I did about BaSE1 - it just stops, once it's getting really going. The narrative and exploring in the beginning was cool, then the game goes hogwild w/ action....and then suddenly and abruptly stops. I do wish it was longer.

I actually really liked BaSE2 b/c the gameplay felt like a cross b/t old-school Thief gameplay and modern Bioshock series gameplay. Since I read a good deal of previews, knew they planned for Liz to play much different, and about 1998 Mode (didn't try it, BTW), and its Thief-like box-art/cover, I was pretty much expecting a mix of Thief + Bioshock gameplay - and that's what I got.

BaSE1 I had heard was short before going into it, but it still managed to surprise me with its brevity. BaSE2 I had sheltered myself from all information about it, so it was a real big shock when I got there. The gameplay wasn't bad per se, it's just not what I was looking for. I'm not big on stealth action person (though I do love Dishonored) and just felt the game was either too easy or too hard. Stealthing through I never needed to use any Plasmids other than Peeping Tom and no weapons other than melee with the Air Grabber. However, when trying to play more aggressively you'll almost assuredly run out of ammo for any lethal weapons due to the aware-reduced damage status, so stealth is really the only option.

Sooo tempting. I did notice, however, that there's DLC and possibly more planned. It'd be nice to hear opinions on that. I may hold out for a more complete version -- or for at least the DLC to be on sale so I can get it all at once.

Oh, see... I really dug the gameplay in BaS 2. It was so awesome seeing the Big Daddies and Splicers again... foes that can actually strike a bit of fear in your heart, as opposed to the paper tigers that fill the main game. The world felt a lot more dangerous and foreboding. In other words... more like BioShock.

No point to buying the DLC until after you've beaten the game, which will take awhile. Breakdown adds a sandbox campaign that is somewhat of a survival mode. You don't need it on your first play through the story.

Yeah, Breakdown is largely just for people who want more of the base game but without the story. Originally, in order to make the game last longer, you'd have to stop playing the story at the final mission. The DLC was made in response to that, so people who enjoyed playing could keep playing without doing the story missions over and over.

The new DLC "Lifeline" however, is supposed to be a story from the point of view of the military, making it a more traditional DLC.

Though it sounds like it's gonna be a new campaign as well, so there's no need to have the DLC now.

Personally I just wish they half-assed some DLC. I'm not even kidding. Give us some chintzy a la carte stuff like new vehicles, new weapons, expanded maps, a character creation station, etc. Full new campaigns and games modes are great DLC, tons of work put into them, but I kinda just wish I could expand what I'm already playing.

Bought State of Decay and Stick it to The Man.

Humble is putting on a decent sale.  And it comes right after a sale that had me buying stuff from GamersGate.

I don't know what the fuck is going on anymore.
