If I didn't have it on 360 already and have spent so much on games already this weekend, I'd have caved, but I'm gonna hold out for a purchase somewhere I can either use credit or get a discount with a voucher, or use Steambux. Hopefully this is indicative of future 75% off sales on it.

im debating both of these. trying to hold off, though. then again...my backlog is getting a bit skimpy. only about 15 years deep or so.

I convinced myself that 75% off was still a good deal these days and I could save my steambux for exclusive Early Access garbage.

I played at least 45 mins of Stick it to the Man on PS4... Normally I wouldn't bother trying some free indie game with a bizarre and off-putting art style but there is literally nothing to play on PS4... and it was really good! The writing is great, really funny.

Yeah I knew I made the right decision getting it at the Humble Store for $3.74 when it was on sale. The art style is pretty good, and the gameplay looks cool. Plus it being DRM Free was icing on the cake!

Yeah, Breakdown is largely just for people who want more of the base game but without the story. Originally, in order to make the game last longer, you'd have to stop playing the story at the final mission. The DLC was made in response to that, so people who enjoyed playing could keep playing without doing the story missions over and over.

The new DLC "Lifeline" however, is supposed to be a story from the point of view of the military, making it a more traditional DLC.

You know, I kinda wish they actually had added these stealth mechanics as an option (tonic) in BS1. Being that the wrench was my favorite weapon, I think it would have been fun. And the AoE of the Old Man Winter was something Winter Blast just always seemed lacking. That being said, I never felt anything other than like I was cheezing the game in BaSE2. Hide, sneak, melee, repeat. If I got spotted, throw up Peeping Tom until the alert status dropped and then melee, even when I was point black in front of enemies this worked. I guess I just didn't appreciate being forced to deviate from how I wanted to play the game and didn't really enjoy the options presented to me. Regarding the ease of enemies in the main game, that was a bit of a complaint of mine as well. That's why I'd recommend everyone starting on Hard difficulty. I'm hoping 1999 mode on my second playthrough will help the challenge.

Oh, and playing around in Clash in the Clouds...a fully upgraded Devil's Kiss with the Storm Hat and Overkill Boots is just ricockulously fun. Definitely going the caster (Adept) route next. For reference, my first playthrough by end game I relied almost entirely on Charge, the shotgun, the Burning Halo hat, Blood to Salt shirt, Brittle-Skinned pants and Overkill boots. This would be the Novaguard equivalent. 2K clearly had some fans of ME2/3 Vanguards when designing.

Next up, DX:HR-DC. Not sure if I'm going lethal or non-lethal.
 
Oh man I am so bored, I think Im gonna give Marvel Heroes and Path of Exile a try and see how they are. Dat feel when u got both next gen consoles and got nothin to play on them.

 
Thanks for the reply... I fired the game up since it's been awhile since I played it and it has the Lifeline DLC listed with a big bold coming in June lol. I loved this game and I think the Lifeline storyline looks pretty interesting so if any CAGs are curious I'll let you guys know how decent it is after I snag it.

I really enjoyed my 400 plus hours in Marvel Heroes... and, truthfully, its seems like its a much better game now. (I haven't really played it in a long time just because for me to get back into it I would need to organize a bunch of crap and read up on the game so I can just unload the stuff that has been rendered useless or near worthless. (And that just sounds like work.)

Path of Exile, its on my machine, Its kept up to date, but the two or three times I fired it up I never make it past the character selection screen... Every name I think to try has long ago been chosen.

Lucky Spankhole! I have wierd dreams evil dreams and so on! Once in while it is good dream.

 
I just noticed that Steam says I own 198 games.. that's close to 200 which is really cool, but then I thought about how the Uplay version of Watch Dogs I just bought will never be added to that total. I've made a huge mistake.
