How do so many of you have Blade Symphony already? Surely you didn't kickstart it at $20.
I do. I got it for $3 the last time it was on sale I think. Or $2, I don't remember.

Not that I've played it. I was actually regretting buying it and trying to sell it out of my inventory, but no one here was really interested in it for $4 or $5, so I just activated it to get the "Play for the first time" reward for it on Playfire right now.

So, no DIII Ultimate for PC? I either A) spend $40 for the Ultimate PS3 version and be comfortably lonely, but suffer the normal console drawbacks or B) spend $60+ on DIII+RoS for PC and I become that guy who never groups, but get the PC Master Race seal of approval. Or C) spend a carpton of money and get a PS4 and that version so I can remote play on the Vita. Decisions, decisions...
Will it really be *that* Ultimate?

I still wanna know if there'll be another D3 Expansion, since Blizz been wondering if we want one...

http://www.gamespot.com/articles/blizzard-gauging-players-interest-in-another-diablo-3-expansion/1100-6419243/

And, oh yeah - consoles got offline mode, when the hell us PC'ers getting that?

That $3 tier looks okay. Three games I might want to try sometime and not comics or ebooks or DOSbox stuff I already didn't care about twenty years ago. I wouldn't buy it, but it's not humble poop diaper (yet)

tebow is dat u? ;o

So I played some of Marvel Heroes and its alright, sucks that they lock the best heroes behind a paywall but watevs.

Im gonna try out Path of Exile next, but how can people play these f2p games and not get bored. Warframe has some nice graphics on PS4 but man it gets so boring.

Oddly enough, I have actually put some time in playing it. Only in the solo training room mind you, but it's kind of interesting. If I had to describe it, I'd say it's a slow paced tactical fighter. The different swords have different attributes and you can actually chain together fast, balanced, heavy and air attacks. It helps that it looks fairly pretty as well.

Best heroes behind a paywall... Not truly. Its been a long, long, time ago since I played and they mess with the heroes constantly but I had more fun playing with Daredevil than Wolverine. Granted, I couldn't even tell you who the free heroes are now... (When I played it was Thing, Daredevil, Scarlet Witch, Storm, and Hawkeye.)

Also with their free currency (Infinity Splinters, or something close to it) you can (or could save) fairly easily for the character you want.

As for playing F2P games and not getting bored... Its pretty much like any other game, love of mechanics, IP, and in two of those examples you listed the quest for better loot can all drive you to keep playing... To answer your question on in the steam trading thread... I haven't seen anyone list marvel heroes currency in a really long time. (I did find one on eBay... (link) Its a little higher priced than when they where common... But not by much.)

I've played Blade Symphony for a couple of hours and agree that it is interesting and I think it's pretty fun. It reminds me of Bushido Blade, but with slightly slower kills. I would only recommend playing duel mode though, FFA or 2v2 were just a mess.

PoE, I made it through the story once and most of the way through the second time, before I realized the game is just grinding for gear or grinding for funds to buy gear off of other players in order to min/max your character to do higher level stuff . . . to do more min/maxing to grind higher level stuff . . .

So I guess if the quest for better loot drives you that much, you can get a shit ton of playtime out of PoE without spending a dime.

What the fuck are you doing Groupees? Two craptastic bundles back to back? :wall:

Potatoman's been in a number of bundles, most recent was the Friday bundle at IndieGala.

Dino Run looks interesting (it helps that it's already greenlit), but not $3 interesting. And the $5-tier is just music.. so I ask again "What the fuck are you doing Groupees?"

Yup, but not bad considering that's Diablo in a nutshell and its a retail game with an expansion...

Pretty sure I've beat Marvel Heroes original campaign ten complete times... Truth be told, still one of the better campaigns in a Diablo clone.

Every time I come back to Marvel Heroes when I get one of those weekly emails about the "super free stuff you can get for playing this weekend," it looks like an epileptic's worst nightmare with an overly-confusing interface, so I spend a couple of minutes piddling around trying to remember what person or thing I have to find to get to a place where I'm supposed to be questing, can't find it, and quit and do something else.

But, yes, PoE does seem a lot like Diablo with an excessively-arcane skill tree.

Wait, what? Diablo unlocks it's skills as you level up, COD style. You can mix and match skills whenever you want to without having to "respec" or reallocate skill points. Unless you're talking about DII.

Yes, I meant that the skill-tree in PoE is weird and hard-to-understand. You pretty much need a manual just to understand how to level up in a way that makes sense. Or at least that's what I took away from it. I've only played it for a few hours.

this is not bad for the whole collection which is the same as SimBin Mega Bundle.
Unless you know something I don't, that's not true.

Okay, so for anyone confused as fuck as to what comes with what, this bundle from BundleStars comes with everything here except for the free DLC for Race 07 (Andy Raceway) and STCC - The Game 1. (an expansion pack for Race 07).

Basically, buying this and getting the free DLC gets you everything related to this franchise except for STCC - The Game 1.
Edit: Derp. After looking at the descriptions, BundleStars is including the Race On BUNDLE, which comes with Race On, some other stuff and STCC - The Game 1. :wall:

Yes. It looks interesting. Time will tell if it's crap or not. It seems weird that Selina Kyle is apparently much older than Bruce Wayne in this series. It reminds me of the Gotham Central comic.
I just hope it doesn't end up like Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Batman can save Gotham but can Batman save Fox's declining TV ratings? :whistle2:k

Ooo, good timing. Got Race Injection from Gala and was wondering when I could finish the set. Thanks for the heads-up.

Any Batman fans looking forward to this?
I really want it to be good, but I feel like it's going to be another cash-in after the amazing Nolan trilogy and the games. Smallville was decent for the first few seasons, but then it went to shit. Arrow is poorly acted and shitty. And Agents of SHIELD, albeit a Marvel franchise, is lacking in just about every way. It's like they don't even try with these superhero TV shows. I'll stick with Doctor Who.

I liked what I've seen of Arrow, but I don't get a CW station after switching to satellite. Queen certainly comes off as more of a badass than in Smallville or most other treatments of the character. Green Arrow really is only slightly ahead of Aquaman in terms of being a target of ridicule amongst the members of the JLA roster because he's just a guy who shoots goofy trick arrows at villains. A darker spin on the character is refreshing, in my book.

I'm still watching Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but it has degenerated somewhat into just something to keep people mildly entertained until the next theatrical release. It doesn't really help that several of the lead characters (Ward and Skye) are fairly unappealing.

Space Corp Tycoon released this statement:

Due to Questions/Emails related to the game just being greenlit and as to when it will be on steam, I thought it would be wise to give a small update.

Development Update: I will be putting out a new update over the next few days, As per the 2 week update schedule.

I have added some new suggestions and tweaked a few things, added support for steam achievements, and done other steamworks related stuff.

Progress is slow but steady, My artist has very recently had some personal issues affect her and her family and thus I'm giving her some time to recover, so art is coming slowly I'm afraid.

But as usual every update adds more to the game, on a more steam related question, I have had a few people ask me when it will be on steam.

To which i reply: I'm expecting around Christmas to go on steam as early access. And that is only if the game is ready as an early access state, I see too many devs releasing on steam early and selling crap, I WILL NOT BE THAT KIND OF DEVELOPER.

if you have any question's feel free to ask in the comment section below.

It's been that way from the start.. I think I lost interest 3 episodes into it. Not a good show.

I like/watch arrow. I enjoyed the first season a bit more than the second, but only because he was more of a morally gray vigilante in that one. I still enjoy the show though. As for missing it - I know it's on hulu plus - if you don't use that service you can easily find places to watch them online (PM me if you can't/want). I am also looking forward (tentatively) to the Flash "spinoff".

S.H.I.E.L.D - I watch it, it's alright. Some episodes are better than others. All in all, I think it's gotten progressively better & have hopes the second season will raise the ante a bit more. A lot of Whedon shows start out slow - I have no idea why he hasn't learned not to do this yet from past history (IE: Firefly cancellation), so I stuck with it. I think that the fact that there are no Mutants in the S.H.I.E.L.D./Capt America/Thor/Iron Man/Avengers universe limits a show like this a lot more than the movies. It's too bad that the marvel properties are in two different production houses.

I AM excited for the new Constantine (Hellblazer) show premiering this Fall. I always liked Hellblazer (and the keanu film adaption) so this is right up my alley.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPE2oBnzROY

ETA: regarding Gotham - I will check it out, I think the idea behind it is pretty decent, but touting it as a show NOT about Batman is silly to me - it's TOTALLY a Batman show. Also, on the dude playing Gordon - I've seen some internet flak based on the fact that he was on the OC (a show I've never seen ANY of), but I don't see mentioned the fact that he did a damn good job as a cop on Southland (a show I can't believe they cancelled).

Not very Steam related, but I just scored a copy of the Reaper of Souls Diablo expansion for $10 thanks to my local Wal-Mart's ineptitude. They had a standing display with RoS listed at $9.96. Didn't even have to argue or start crying.

Now I guess I need Diablo 3.

I don't think I knew anything about this one; I still don't know much about the Flash show. Frankly, I didn't care for the Keanu Reeves film, although that has a little to do with my general loathing of Keanu Reeves as an "actor." I also didn't think the story made too much sense.

I still haven't gotten over the fact that not only did they remake The Day The Earth Stood Still, but it actually "starred" Mr. Wooden Monologue.

He also didn't have any business being in Branagh's Much Ado About Nothing. What the hell, Kenneth?!

Nice. I'm never in Wal-Mart to even see this kind of thing, but I'd definitely grab it at $10. Good luck finding the base game at that price, post-TRU sale, though.

I'll give you $9.97 if you go back and buy me a copy.

Did you grab any extras? I'd buy one from you ;)

I booted up bad rats to idle it for cards, and decided to just give it a shot to see what it's all about...it's the perfect definition of a mediocre game. Not horrid, but far from good.

No extras, guy who rang me up was the manager, and he physically taped down the little flip book price thingy before we were done.

Probably just got some minimum wage part-timer fired.
