I played it, it's one of the worst racing games I've tried.. I really don't know how you managed to get so much enjoyment out of it.

It looks cool, but then you play it.
Maybe the update they did on the 12th improved things, cos I like the shit outta it.

I wish they'd ripped Wipeout off more and made the ships cooler looking though

Flashout 2 felt like a shitty port of an already terrible mobile game.

I played with the controller, and the default "accelerate" button is pushing "up" on the joystick. Seriously?

Do you mean normal acceleration or using a turbo powerup? I remapped using the turbo powerup to R1, otherwise it didn't seem possible to use turbo powerups.

Alright, I got it. Thanks Honeybaked Ham!

Diving back into the backlog now. Least the majority of these games have been good. Giana Sisters was great.

Im looking for some help with the aliens "I feel safer already" achievement too but I think I just missed the party.  Anyone have it installed and have an extra min. or need to unlock it also?

*Got it Thanks Bobby.  If anyone needs help with it let me know before I uninstall tonight

Of course they dump the credit I was owed the day after their sales end. Sigh.
I lucked out and they added my credit TWICE yesterday (from around $3 to $4 and change, then again to a little under $6). I was pretty pissed until way late in the afternoon, because I was trying to bust my ass getting the credit so I could get Max Payne 3. Lucked out, and now I gots it!

Also, I had no effing clue people could cheat the system using SAM, as well as having NO IDEA what that was until about 5 minutes ago. So THAT's what everyone was on about calling each other pirates?

...You were excited to buy Max Payne 3? Jeez, you should go check out the Amazon PC thread.

We just like to go on adventures and things. Some people don't agree with that.

Having paid zero dollars and zero cents to play the game with proper mouse aiming (already played the ps3 version) is exactly what I wanted to do, so what exactly is the problem with that?

Also not going to wade into the muddy waters that are sinking the Amazon PC thread.

Rockstar junk is on sale so often (especially on amazon) that it's something of a running joke. Finding someone who doesn't own it is or is unaware of the sheer number of sales on it is like finding a bobbyfly unicorn.

Dude, chill. It looks like the guy just got into PC gaming, so he's probably not aware of how often games go on sale for us.

And hey, Rockstar stuff will never be on sale as often as Magicka is.

Any recommendations of which of these games' rewards are easiest to unlock (or require less time than other games)?

Killing Floor
Stealth Bastard
Driftmoon
Explodemon
Megabyte Punch
Swords and Soldiers
Crusader Kings II
Grimind
Master Reboot
Magicka
March of War
Smooth Operators

Couldn't find much in the guides on Steam. Saw a post earlier in this thread for Magicka, though, so I'll probably do that. So many rewards, so little time to achieve them!

I never meant to sound hostile or poke fun, really. Just an observation. We all started somewhere. My beginning was with Portal 2 from the Ps3 edition, and that was the first time I ever even looked at Steam or PC gaming. I even bought most of my early games from amazon before I knew about other deal sites or bundles beyond Humble. I still have not played most of those games

My PC gaming began w/ Quake + Duke Nukem 3D in 1995.

I was probably around 14-15 at the time.

God - makes me feel old and stuff. ;)

I just played a bit of Grimind, and it's a weird little game... I guess you can call it a horror-themed platformer (with an emphasis on horror, platforming is mediocre at best), and the rewards aren't too hard to get, there's a guide that shows you where to get each one (ch2, ch8, ch4 respectively).

I've had all the GTA games on PC for a few months, was just missing the other Rockstar games until this recent GMG sale.
Given all the R* sales that Amazon DVG especially and what other digital stores have had - easy to play catch-up on getting R* PC games. ;)
