It was also in HIB #1 and appeared a few more times. Played better with a Wacom tablet.
I could see that. I used a mouse and think a drawing tablet may have been easier.

Humble Bundle Android #3 was my second Humble Bundle and, at the time, I was majorly excited to pay almost $7 to get that package of games, as I was really wanting World of Goo. I played it right away, too.

World of Goo was one of my first Steam games and I absolutely loved it to death. Shame on you for skipping it for one flipping dollar.
It's been bundled a bunch of times, so I just hoped I could grab a Steam key from a CAG eventually or on Tremor or that it'd be rebundled. I haven't heard much about the game tbh, I know it was on WiiWare though.

I didn't remember I owned World of Goo on Steam. Remember playing it, but think it was non-steam, someone probably gifted it to me I guess. Works out, can get the max of free money!

  • Awesomenauts - unlock Riding my robotic steed - £0.25
Get first blood. Easy in practice mode against AI.

  • Awesomenauts - unlock Thunder, thunder, thunder! 1 - £0.50
Probably easiest in 3 vs 3 multiplayer. I think it would require 6 doers for ach, Teams kill each other until everyone has then switch sides. Any doers? :D
Thunder Thunder Thunder can also be done solo in a practice match, FYI.

Looks like the Can't Stop Laughing pack is practically paying for itself :D

I also skipped World of Goo and feel shame now.

New rewards including the new GRID game ...

Anyone have a good (read: easy) tip on getting the 300 axe kills for Brutal Legends "I've never touched an axe before" achievement? The controls are pretty unpleasant w/ keyboard + mouse, and I keep running into missions where I'm either forced to use the car to kill minions or I'm trying to run into the fray during a Concert battle and I just get annihilated too damn quick.

To help others out:

"Silence Ground Walkers" can be done near the NW corner of the map, by just driving off the cliff overlooking the beach.

"Master of the Flame" can be done solo in a "custom match" in MP. Just start up a game by yourself, and summon each of the units and "join up" with them (making sure to upgrade the stage when needed).

METAL SLUG 3 Unlock achievement GRENADE LOVER £ 0.25

Very easy. You get 10 grenades per live. throw everything and you have this after 5 deaths :D

METAL SLUG 3 Unlock achievement SNOWMAN £ 0.50

Very easy. Enter iceman cave in Mission 2 and get attacked by enemy.
Thanks, those two were very easy to get just like you said. I did have to redo Mission 2, however, because I bypassed the Iceman Cave. You have to turn around and shoot it, then enter it, in order to reach that sub-level. Progressing through the level straight-forward will not work.

So this is quite funny. At the beginning of the month I sent support a list of all the rewards I was missing, it totaled to about $4. Today I check my email and see that they've replied. They added $6.81. I'm not complaining :D Seriously though, where do you find support agents that can't add up a couple of numbers?

And yesterday some of my rewards tracked twice. 'Tis a good time for free money.

You can get this one right at the start of the first chapter of the game, "Welcome to the Age of Metal". Once the game teaches you the Earthshaker move, druids will continue to respawn in groups of four until you use the move a certain number of times. Instead, just keep killing them off with your axe until you hit 300. Repetitive but it gets the job done.

BRILLIANT! The game has issues running on this toaster, and I had already started playing it on 360 a year or two ago, so I wasn't really wanting to actually "play" the game this time through.

Thanks!

NP, just wanted to add that I edited my post a bit. One achievement guide I read mentioned using the guitar to get it, but it looks like any kind of melee attack should be fine. So it would be easier to just hack away with your axe instead.

Yeah, the guides i read were unclear on the method of attack. I just assumed "axe only" and not the metaphorical "axe"/guitar, which was causing me headaches in the sections I was trying to beat. All in all, good info to have.

Ugh those World of Goo achievements are going to be a massive pain to get. The .50 one sounds the easiest, but still requires getting to that point (which is enough of a pain already, the OCD one or even finishing? ugh..)

I assume (hope) Sniper Elite 3 special coming.

I think it's the first time for Borderlands 2 rewards.

Well, I think they finally got me.  For the last three days the Playfire site comes up as a 500 server error, and my GMG credit has been zeroed out.  It was good while it lasted.  Now I guess I can stop buying shitty Greenlight games for the rewards.

If you picked up BL2 GOTY from Steam like I did, I'd recommend grabbing Ultimate Vault Hunter Pack 2 from GMG, as it's not included in the GOTY and it's 75% off at GMG (as opposed to 66% off on Steam).

Nothing else not included in the GOTY is on sale, as I don't believe they're avaliable on Mac.

Bummer man, so... what were you doing if you don't mind me asking? SAM'ing? How do you think they "got" you?

Or maybe you'd be better off not saying anything and just contacting CS to see why before you go into full confession mode?

Playfire has enough errors and issues with scraping that I'd much rather they focus on fixing their service than chasing pirates.

I've been working on the OCD one, and holy crap is it frustrating. I'm about half way complete with it and ready to throw in the towel. It always seems I'm off by one for so many tries.

You do realize that the rewards are in £ right? Because £4 is approximately $6.81 USD.
I've had some rewards tracked twice after I had to get it manually credited by support. They were the good ones too :)

I did all the Fez rewards back in April. It was totally worth it and I actually enjoyed the game (first play through).

Oh I was SAMming like a madman. Sometimes I tried to cover my tracks, but other times I couldn't be bothered. I think their system is getting better at finding discrepancies. I knew it was just a matter of time.

Oh well, back to idling games for cards only!

UVH pack 1 is included in the GOTY version???

For those with more Playfire rewards experience, have they cycled new achievements for the same game before? If they do, I'd rather not unlock extra achievements for a game unless I'm actually going to thoroughly play it.

I feel kind of bad for buying UHV Pack 2 and the Headhunter 1-5 from Steam at 67%, but I technically only paid $14 for everything so I guess I can live with it. Good catch for those who were waiting. Just out of curiousity, does the current 25% code stack with it?

I am stupid, it's a good thing Playfire didn't hire me :)

In the couple of months I've been using Playfire I've honestly never noticed that. The lure of money has obviously hampered my vision. Then again I'm used to seeing Rands, not Pounds or Dollars.

yay for £0.15 extra :D

Yay more EU IV rewards, and they don't require DLC this time. Sadly I have the easy one and the other ones sound like they'll take some luck/work/finding the right scenario (one, reading comments, apparently isn't but dunno seems it will be a pain to me.)

Though don't people have any sense? July 4th is coming up and pick the game about Japan or whatever instead of the one about colonization?

The older, cheaper game will always win the vote because it's the game more people have.
