Ugh, more Last of Us multiplayer DLC coming, so that PS4 version won't have everything after all.  At least it will be crossbuy between PS3 and PS4.

No, they didnt review it yet. This is just a preview of the graphics alone. At least thats what I read it as. The review will come out and slam it again. Unless Sony really did pay them.

Controls should take a jump with the move to 60fps.

 
or it was a different person who reviewed it then who previewed the new one?  Some people just don't like certain games or are looking for certain things in games.  it is why when looking at reviews I trust specific people in the industry.  The guy who reviewed it originally didn't like it and gave it a 7.5 even though it almost swept getting really good reviews... I think polygon figured out that a biased review was bad for their image when it was consistently scoring well.

Well I've previously stated my adoration of Borderlands and this game looks to channel it a bit. I'm also a former MMO head so I'm hoping for this to scratch that long time itch I've had but avoided sating.

It really has nothing to do with Bungie other than some confidence in them to deliver a sweet final product due to experience and resources. I'm actually not a Halo fan at all. I was 360 exclusive until last year and dont own any of them.

Not a joke. It's an expansion to a a very good coop board game, but it's fire fighting not sniping.

Same with me. Its impressive but I dont know why its posted other than its a woman. Which makes no sense since clearly having less weight to move around is part of her advantage, but is also a disadvantage somewhat since she theoretically has less strength than a typical man on that show.

 
Now I'm eagerly awaiting polygons review of TLoU remastered. If it gets anything more than a slight bump because it looks prettier, then I'm calling BS. If it gets a huge bump, them they either fucked up on their PS3 review, or consider graphics to be the most important part of the game.

What?! Less weight makes it easier?! Ok in that mean every anorexic chick out there shouldn't have a hard time. There's no doubt she doesn't have the strength of a man on the show. Some men in the world, do doubt. But on the show, most of those dudes are bigger and stronger. She is crazy athletic, resourceful, has finesse. Everything she did on that course was insane. You guy are just jealous.

Yoshi has always been boring to me, so I wasn't surprised to see recent reviews. NSMB series is terribly bland and uninspired. But I enjoyed 3DLand. You've heard it before but don't judge 3DLand/3Dworld without playing post-game levels. Couldn't finish Skyward Sword. Enjoyed ALBW. If you're looking for mature things have you tried Kid Icarus? I think the controls are dumb but people who get past them say it's a good game. And Fire Emblem. Best RPG I've played in years. Quite "non-kiddie", lol.

It's the combination of out-growing them and a love\hate relationship. Kid Icarus sucked donkey nuts. Never should have been on the handheld with that abortion of a control scheme. The game itself wasn't even that great. My problem also lies in the fact that looking at the 3DS list of games on sale it looks almost exactly the same as the GBA list, or the DS list, that came before it. The franchises are getting watered down. Games like Metroid and Starfox which I'd be interested in, get the shaft. I know all about the history of things, doesn't really change anything. At this point though I'm pretty much done with them so I'll stop posting about them.

Come on breakStotch, you knew what we meant. Don't skip over the words "impressive". Chick was 5 foot even and a buck on the dot. And didn't falter a bit. Very nice. I was just expecting something crazy or funny to happen, that's all.

Not jealous of the athletic feat, jealous of the dude getting to hug her. She is clearly awesomely athletic. I just didnt understand why it would be shocking that a woman could do that. She is less strong than a man obviously, but being a woman that weighs less and has less mass to move means she doesnt have to be as strong. The strongest men in the world cant do what she did because they arent as athletic and svelte enough to move the way you need to on that course.

But just so it isnt twisted here. PROPS TO HER, SHE IS AWESOME.

Thanks for this. I asked in the thread a day or two ago if anyone here played tabletop games and had any recommendations but got no replies. Just looking for some new experiences. I'm backing this now for the exclusive extra board and will pick up the game.

What else do you play?

 
I still can't believe that Spelunky speed run from yesterday. I'm surprised (maybe I miss it) Crunchewy didn't say anything about it. I didn't even know you could get that good with the teleporter...I just always teleport into walls. Pretty lucky to have gotten the jetpack and teleporter that quickly.

I wonder how these Destiny keys work.  I am currently set for PS4.

If I get another code and then select PS3 will I get both or whatever I requested last?  I will probably just wait till I am in on PS4 and then ask my friend to send me an invite for PS3.  

Not a big deal if I can't play the beta on PS3 but would like to if possible since some of my friends haven't upgraded to PS4.  Would also be interesting to see the differences in graphics.

Does Bungie send them out? Because I got one from Amazon a while back (2 actually) and set up the accounts. But I think it said Bungie would send them out later? I dont remember exactly, I just know the codes had to be put in on Bungie's site, not just a PS system.

Just got Mice and Mystics in the mail about a week ago. Haven't had a chance to play it.
