And in the IGN comments section on this story, everyone is glossing over the lack of cross-buy because IGN mentioned the game will be 1080p and 60fps. People are freaking out and accusing IGN of trying to start console wars with that comment, despite the fact the 1080/60 was mentioned right in the Major Nelson blog post.

So mother fucking stupid I can't even comprehend, fuck ing christ people are the worst sometimes. I am vowing right now to keep IGN comments blocked and just stop reading them. They depress me with their stupidity.

I hadn't even heard this game was confirmed for the West, and now we're getting it in just a couple weeks.  This was one of the very few games that I never was able to get on my 360 before I got banned.  So this is really great news.  I'm not sure the game will be quite as awesome as Scott Pilgrim, but I think the art style looks sweet and I usually enjoy beat'em ups!!!

 
I'm depressed by how Sony has fucking forgotten to mail the beta codes for those who pre-ordered Destiny digital. Can't it be that hard, Sony? fuck.

Haha, you're being facetious but, yes, I'm aware. Unfortunately missed the boat on that since I only played what was already bought (didn't start gaming on my own until genesis).

I think they're giving it away now as a monthly reward but I hear it's hard as fuck so I'll probably stay away.

And hey wren, did you know Super Mario Bro. 2 wasn't actually a Mario game? Didja know??! Have a seat, casual.

The original Kid Icarus is so good. Hard, yes. But that's from the era when we didn't even realize it was hard. We bought a game, and if we wanted to progress further in it we just had to get better.

Did anyone know someone that tried saying the nes as a word instead of letters? Like nes wasnt an acronym for Nintendo Entertainment System but an actual word like Genesis? I called those people fucktards.

Rayman Origins was great and I think Rayman Legends comes with the Origins levels, although I remember there being something weird about it at launch. I think they had to patch in the Origins levels or something, but it should be good by now. There is a ton of content in those games. Also Lumines is pretty good and you can get it pretty cheap from Amazon most of the time.


Man Destiny comes out September 9th...had no idea it was so far away. It would be nice if we can preinstall Destiny.

I did a lot today so far. I walked 8.4 miles, bought Angry Birds Star Wars PS4 from Gamestop $9.80 after tax (trades into best buy for $14 right now, but I actually plan on playing.) Also got $20 PSN from Best Buy for Outlast DLC and the Sacred / Narco terror bundle. All this before 5PM! Now to finish Season 8 of Deadliest Catch on Netflix and play some video juegos. The day is young.

Now Cap liked and un-liked my same post a bunch of times.  When rpg did it I just thought it was because he is weird, but now I think maybe there's some weird issue with the Like button.  Hopefully all those likes padded my total at least.

I like Carcassonne, and Dominion lately. I recently played Splendor and I see it was nominated on that link you posted. Its a fun 30 minute card aquirimg game.

Cards against humanity is fun at first. But you have to keep getting new card expansions to keep it fresh, or it loses its charm quickly I think.

Curious about that Camel Up game. Thanks for mentioning it.

No I did it on purpose to try and get my point across on how much I liked what you said. Something sbout the no games thing needs to die out already.
 
Little bit of NPD data early, Xbone "more than doubled" their sales in June compared to May with the price cut.  GAF is putting them at ~155K units for June based on May's numbers.  Comparatively, PS4 did 197K in May.  

MS also wasn't touting Xbone as the best selling console in June which they are always very happy to do when it is actually the best selling console.  PS4 will probably end up taking June NPD, we'll find out tomorrow for sure.

Well, I personally don't mind it popping up occasionally. As long as Vita detractors want to keep bringing up such a ridiculous statement that we all know is untrue, the joke is a sort of knowing head nod of sorts. Or when motorcyclists passing each other feel the absurd need to raise their hand to acknowledge each other.

And I can't believe I felt the need to explain all that.

I finally finished (with the help of my daughter) all those Resonance of Fate arena battles.

Now just to beat the game, and then beat it again. woot. already 90+ hours...

also I know this was an old topic in the psn thread, but I just started destiny of spirits on vita, anyone wanna friend/trade in that game? thanks. also I wasted 30 destiny orbs on a common patapon, doh! I missed those 2 months of free orbs, but finally got this month's orbs...

I'm super annoyed that I started playing last of us on ps3 now. I'd like to play the shiny ps4 version, but I'll be forever irked by the 0% on the ps3 version.
 
Crunchewy is streaming Pinball but no commentary.  Start calling him snakey.

I guess there's a ton of terribly annoying sound effects though, so that helps a bit.
