All Steam Origin Uplay DRM Free

[There are currently no known available vouchers, credits, promos, codes, etc. that can be manually applied to purchases.]

Note: Be sure to check DRM prior to purchase. It will typically be listed to the right of the description, just above the System Requirements. There are several instances where games may vary in DRM type even within the same bundle. You have been warned.

I don't know where to post this, but since GG is a very quiet thread and I love it, I would put it here.

There are two deals right now in the ubistore from European countries.

- Fallout 3 non-goty
- Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition.

Now, the good thing is that in Germany it is cheaper. It is 2.50€ ~ $3.37 (It will be a little more if you add paypal currency conversion).

it is a steamworks game so you will get a steam key 100% for sure.

Bad thing, you can only buy there when starting at 11pm in Germany (I think they have GTM +2  right now)

I think the game they sell is the uncut version. I'm not sure 100% but should be.

Also if you don't have any uplay account you can use one time only the coupon 10thanks for a 10% off.

In any case you will need to use a VPN/proxy like Hola, clean cookies etc..

I don't take any responsability for what I have written, in any case you should get some information before doing this.

Bobby's and Tommy's Dispenser.

Fallout 3 is NOT always a Steamworks game.

You'd have to check if the version you are buying is actually a Steam-version (where that version requires Steam).

FO3 requires G4WL everywhere currently - yes, even if you buy that game on Steam.

It would be nice if Bethesda did switch FO3 over to Steamworks + did drop G4WL (like some others did - i.e. Bioshock 2, Batman: AA + AC, Dawn of War 1, etc) - but, that hasn't even been announced (Lord knows if that'll ever happen); and it just hasn't happened yet.

Though b/c some of the DLC is pretty good + is pretty meaty (The Pitt, Point Lookout, Mothership Zeta) - I would recommend buying Fallout 3: GOTY.

Fallout: New Vegas is a Steamworks game, though.

B/c of the way Zenimax + Bethesda often sells DLC at weaker percent prices than base-games (see Dishonored, FO:NV + Skyrim) + Complete Editions wind-up normally cheaper than buying all of the DLC altogether at once - it's usually best to buy their games when it's a Complete Edition, once they're finally done w/ actually putting DLC out.

If you actually feel so inclined - I think a lot of us have learned the hard way that if you're going to buy a Base-Game from them, do NOT buy any DLC from them piece-by-piece - just wait + buy the Complete Edition later, when you feel it's cheap enough. See, their games normally give plenty of bang for the buck per one play-through (i.e. Fallout 3 was around 50 hours for base-game; add at least another 20-30 for ALL of the DLC's), so you can decide when that time's right yourself - especially since Bethesda's main major titles (Skyrim, FO:NV, Dishonored etc) suck at getting 75% off sales these days. They seem to often be aiming at 66% off + 50% off range.

Dam, I knew I should have explained I was referring to New Vegas Ultimate Edition only when I said Steamworks.

My fault for not explaining things correctly. Good that MysterD is my back-up xD.

Oh and the Fallout New Vegas ultimate Edition is 75% off a little more in Germany though.

Nice @ FO:NV Ultimate at 75% off in Germany.

Do you know if the German's version's a worldwide key?

Or if that verson's uncensored?

If a Bethesda game's Complete Edition ever hits 75% off anywhere - especially for their recent main titles that they suck at discounting to the CAG-way (examples: Fallout 3; FO: NV; Skyrim; Dishonored) - for those who own none of the content period or only the base-game or own, that should be an instant buy!

If you own a base-game + some DLC from Bethesda - well, then you might be screwed...and you'd have to decide which route's better for you...if it's cheaper just to buy what DLC's you're missing or taking the plunge on the Complete Edition.

Bethesda Week: Up to 75% off Rage (Ends 7/23)
75% off Rage (Steam) - $5.00
50% off Rage: The Scorchers (Steam) - $2.50
Oh, wow - Scorchers DLC has been $1.24 before on Steam + GameStop PC App, GameFly PC Digital according to ITAD:

http://isthereanydeal.com/#/search:rage%20scorchers;/scroll:%23gamelist

According to ITAD, looks like RAGE (base game) at its cheapest is only a few pennies off from GG's price at a few places in the past:

http://isthereanydeal.com/#/page:game/info?plain=rage

And I'm guessing some of us still got those nice 20% off coupons from GG lingering...

It is 75% off in a lot of countries from Europe, but for some strange mystery it is cheaper in Germany because the base price is lower.

So, as I said I don't think is a region locked key. I have checked and Only RU + CIS are locked so I assume it is region free.

Uncensored or not, well I'm not sure. I would say it should be uncut version, but I cannot promise something I don't know as a fact 100%.

Edit.

After reading steamcommunity of germans about Fallout 3 GOTY, Uplay sells the uncut version. So I'm almost sure the same for New Vegas Ultimamte Ed

Austria's got the same price :D/ But I've to wait 'till 11pm, because kids are apparently asleep at that time and can't buy it. :wall:

I've read that the Ultimate Edition of NV is always uncensored/uncut in Germany.

Yep, I wrote that, need to wait till 11pm Germany local time. But didn't know about Austria, so thank you.

I didn't want to interrupt the flow of the Dr's giveaways in the Steam thread (even though he gave me the OK to do so), so I figured I'd drop my leftovers in this thread.

Requirements: Be a Steam thread regular. (If you have to ask, you're not one.) And just to have some sort of line in the sand, let's say a minimum of 300 posts.

Quote the list below with only the game(s) you would like and I'll respond via PM. You can ask for more than one, but do try and think of others. If you quote the entire list, I will ignore that post.  I will also ignore any direct PMs requesting games.

(Warning: If for some reason a game has already been used, just let me know and I'll make it right. I had to rebuild my database, but everything should be correctly listed.)

This should probably go to someone who hasn't already taken advantage of your generosity so many times, but if no one else asks for it I would be very much obliged.
