I beat Far Cry 4 last night.  Did some trophy mop up today.  Got 50% of the trophies and I think I am done.  Not sure why but I didn't like it nearly as much as Far Cry 3.  I almost gave up on it a couple of times.  Might be my most disappointing game for 2014.  Maybe I was just expecting too much.

I am going to trade it in a day or two to Best Buy and probably preorder 1886.

It came with the Key to Kyrat thing and I have 8 keys left.  It unlocks 2 hours of co-op play.  If anyone is interested let me know and I will send you one.  I think it works for PS4 and PS3.  I have the PS4 version.

I've come to terms that we're probably going to get Krinkle Krusher on Plus, but that Paparazzi game looks even worse.  Really hope we aren't stuck with both of them...

So far I've been compulsively exploring every new area and ignoring main missions, but I might need to mix it up and actually advance the plot so I get back into it more.

Yeah, today was the first day I played it in a while. I'm somewhere around 25 hours in, maybe the 5th or 6th main mission?

 
Looks like I'm playing through the Dooms and Wolfenstein 3D yet again.  I love those fucking games.  I'm getting the Classic instead of the BFG, because Classic is apparently the definitive version of the older games, while BFG doesn't include all the expansions.

A bit more hit and miss with their TV shows, although I did like Highschool USA (an Archie spoof). It's not like it could ever replace Clone High but it's still pretty good

I wasn't able to completely solve the Japanese Tales of Hearts R cart situation at GS tonight, but the manager called the store where I bought it and asked them to send over another used copy (hopefully the English version this time). He'll call me when it gets there; when I stop by at the same time he's working, he said he'll try to work out a switch by calling the store again and explaining the situation.

Gator, I'll let you know if this doesn't pan out. I won't be able to get to that store again until Sunday.

She's pretty. You know how the other day I mentioned since someone brought it up about staring at females chests sometimes? I accidentally did that with her . When they introduced me to her her chest was immediately in my face in my defense, so I didn't mean to --;;

Don't Die, Mr. Robot! is getting really hard now that I've passed Remix 30. I was getting Platinums for awhile, but starting at 20 or so I decided to just settle for Golds.

Cool. I wouldn't mind revisiting that game, I just don't know if I should take the time to do it at this point. I had fun with it, it just ended too soon.

So remember how I said my kids Cub Scout pack is run by a bunch of idiots?  Didn't think so.  Anyway, tonight was his pinewood derby race.  First, it started 20 minutes after when it was supposed to.  Once it started, they raced all the cars in each den and going by the fastest times after three heats to determine the places.  Six cars in my kids den and he goes only against one other car in his heat.  Slaughters it every time w/ a 3.4 second time.  After watching the other heat with the other 3 cars, it looked like a clear 2nd place for him

Then they announce the winners and he didn't get 2nd.  I'm like OK maybe I missed a time.  Then they announce 3rd and its the kid that he beat in every race.  My kid was disappointed and cried a little but came around quickly and got a good lesson on how to lose.  But I was confused on what the standings were so I went to look at the sheets.  They wrote done my kid's time under the guy he raced against, and that kids shitty times for my kid.  On top of that, my kids times were better than the times for the kid they gave 2nd place too.

So my kid, who on the sheet was last place, should have actually been 2nd if they weren't incompetent bozos.  Then they asked if the kid they gave 3rd to was still there, and I'm like no dumbasses you don't take away his trophy because that makes an even bigger mess.  I just wanted to see the times for our own piece of mind.  They said they'd get him a medal or something to make up for it, but they took away his moment and that pisses me off the most.  I mean, how hard is it to write down times in a notebook and then figure out which numbers are bigger than the others.  Ugh.  I'd pull him out if he didn't enjoy it so much.

End rant.  Gah.

That sucks Zimm.  Good chance for him to learn that life isn't always fair as well.  And at least he'll always know that he kicked most those kid's asses!

You can access it pretty early in the story if I remember correctly. The only trophy I had left was the one for playing it on Ultra Nightmare, which required another playthrough. Might go back to it soon.

 
Trivia Crack is like...baby trivia, but fuckin A. These questions on Trivia Pursuit are insane. Must be made for a different audience because the entertainment ones are mostly shit I've never heard of.
