Release date for Apotheon is being announced tomorrow, and is supposed to be released in February.

Maybe a good sign this will be one of our PS4 Plus games?  Hopefully, the game looks awesome.

So this is all speculation, but right now I'm guessing Apotheon and Paparazzi for PS4, Thief for PS3, Kringle Kruncher for Vita, and 2 more games in there.

What am I supposed to be looking at in the guide? The Modfather trophy I assume?

Do I have to do all the things it lists for each category or just 1 of the items underneath it? Like can I just drive 200 miles and unlock them all? I assume no. Plus, I assume I can be in MP mode without other people to do this part or no?

Sorry for all the questions, but I dont want to be a hold up tonight.

How you Dying Light people enjoying it? Can't imagine I'll be getting it soon since all of the crazy promos and glitches are done, but I am legitimately curious if it is good and a big step up from Dead Island. 

 
I played it *Dying Light* all day yesterday and have yet to encounter a single glitch. So far it's very fun. Better than Dead Island up to this point.

First unlocked muscle car is probably BMW M3 coupe. Otherwise I think they give you an everyday cars like a Ford Focus at the start.

But it's the PS3 version. I don't really care about any of the PS3 plus games. I've already picked up anything I was planning to play on that system.

This is one of the times to be thankful we're probably not getting a retail game for PS4.

Holy crap.

CD Projekt RED is still working on the possible "Insanity" difficulty, and is considering ideas like the game automatically deleting your save data upon death.

There are some other tidbits. You can still play the game and roam around the world after beating the game. Your choices from past Witcher games will be recounted towards the beginning and you can amend them how you like (if you're changing platforms). And you can meditate anywhere you start a fire, but not at a fire in a stranger's home. How respectful.

Not far into it (finished first day), but seems like a better Dead Island game. Only complaints I have so far are the expressionless character models and the inability to change controls.

Why the hell do I want to jump using R1 instead of X...

Speed lvl progression which you get from doing all manner of stuff like participating in multiplayer or hitting various milestones. Or playing single player. Unlocks at lvl 5 speed level. If you haven't played the game at all yet it would probably be less time consuming to just drive the ford focus the 50 miles. But if you're already at least speed level 5 then start with the BMW. Once you change into the car it will tell you what class it is on the information in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Haven't even downloaded it, so the Focus it is. Assuming, I do not need a muscle car for some other reason like cars of a common class race trophy or some other BS?

Well Gator.  I had the other two beers.  I have to say the Don De Dieu may be may favorite slightly ahead of the La Fin.  The apple wasnt bad and the others were good too.  But I will stick with the high alcohol content ones for sure.

Nope, how multplayer mods work is driving a certain mileage unlocks the basic version of 60% of the mods. Depending on the car class, that changes how many miles it takes to unlock each of basic mods that are unlocked by distance. The other 40% of the basic mods are unlocked by doing something else with certain other basic mods equipped. Then once you've unlocked the basic mod, you equip it and then during a multiplayer event playlist you can get credit toward the pro version of that mod. The long gears (which are unlocked by drifting 5000 yards with track tires), the burn nitrous (which is unlocked from the start) and the reinflates are the easiest 3 to level up to pro mod and the milelage to unlock the reinflates and the track tires is the shortest on the muscle car class. That's the only reason we were recommending it.

We would each need to create our own custom Speedlist, then play it, to get that trophy right?  Or if we all play through pharm's, does that count?

play a speedlist. Dont need to do your own, although you can create your own if you were playing with other people, its quick.

 
I know everybody shits on Thief, but I'd much rather play that than the two games it looks like we're getting. They look much worse. If we do get Thief, I'm hoping it's one of the rare occasions where they make the game cross-buy temporarily because I'm sure it looks tons better on PS4.

Never would have guessed that would be your favorite. This is why I love mixed 6 packs for people getting into better beers.

I thought for sure it would be Maudite or Trois Pistoles. If you like Belgian Strong Pales there are a TON of good ones. Duvel being the one that is probably the best. I saw it in that picture you sent. If you go to Total you could possibly get a 4 pack that comes with one of their tulip glasses. I have a set of 4 because they are so awesome. The bottom of the glass has a laser etched D in it for a nucleation point so that there is constantly carbonation being released to keep the head there for the whole time you are drinking the beer.

psst: you realize that is also the hoppiest one from that pack Mr. I don't like hops

well there is something else in IPAs that I dont like then. But I also didnt say I liked it a lot more than La Fin. I really liked the Maudite and Trois as well. The only ones I wouldnt ever drink again are the apple and blanche because they dont taste any better than a Blue Moon or other apple beers I have had and neither are over 5% so whats the point really? I definitiley dont have the taste buds you do.

I also tried them all in a wine glass and let them warm up a bit first. Not sure I could tell a difference, i would probably need to try one side by side with a freezing cold drink to tell.

It's play a custom speed list you have created. Unfortunately they don't list out the events, you have to drag the cursor over the map to select events. Great scott (the event they recommend) is located in the upper portion of the map, left of the center. You have to play through all 5 events for it to count. That means each person boosting has to create a custom speedlist and host a game for each person to get the trophy.

I may have just assumed. The guide doesnt really say it either way. Either way this custom list is quick to create and then complete. I am not worried about it. But its also why i want to do it tonight. I can do it whenever and as long as it takes with no one here still until tomorrow.

Ramming a person on your friends list and playing a custom speed list (since you can't create a public lobby like you could in Burnout Paradise for some dumb fuck ing reason) are pretty much the only one that require boosting, the rest you can do in public games without too much trouble, it's just easier when boosting.

It sounds an awful lot like Burnout reading through the guide.  I wish it was the full DLC pack that was on sale this week for the PS3.  If tonight is fun like I expect, I would probably go ahead and buy the PS3 one too if it was an Ultimate Edition like Burnout was.

So with our plan, it seems like the only one that could possibly be an issue is the "In Your Face" one that Zimm was having problems with before? 

As soon as I finish dinner I'll start driving the miles I need to unlock the stuff to go for Mod Master.  Is it just wren, Zimm, and I tonight?  I thought Pete wanted to do the online as well.  Maybe Papi too?  Vig even mentioned it when I asked to wait until this week.

Yeah I'm in, sounds like we definitely have enough for two groups.

In your face isn't bad, owl had a good location for it (basically any board on the southeast corner of the map, no one seems to play over there). Just don't try to beat the distance the first time you hit the billboard, otherwise it won't count and you can't use it again. Someone's face has to be on it.

Maybe--I want to make some progress in Dying Light, and I don't have Most Wanted downloaded yet. Dumb question: I can use the Golds while on the Vita to communicate with you guys, right?

 
Most Wanted UE was on sale a couple of weeks ago, but it was still $40, I imagine it will go lower eventually. You certainly wouldn't want to pay full price for the DLC. The Terminal Velocity pack adds 3 new mods and a new area, the airport, but the others just add cars and extra races.

I also was tempted to rebuy the PS3 version since I never did the online stuff. But I would have to redo all the SP for nothing since I didnt keep the save.

It sounds like 2 groups is right from what Pete said since only 4 at a time.

I don't have it downloaded either. Granted I don't care about progress on another game tonight.

Yes, you can use the golds, you just need the audio cable that should have come with the golds. It does not work via wireless with the Vita.
