Humble Bundle Thread

I'm only interested in Monster Loves You (I missed the other bundle it was in). I'll wait for this to bottom out and see what gets unlocked next week.

Feels like it's been a while since they offered an Android bundle with actual Steam keys. Neverending Nightmares and Fotonica are on my wishlist, so bought. All the BTA games are Mac too, which is nice enough for me to go ahead at $2.83.

*checks* Oh, of course I bought Fotonica in March for $2 and totally forgot about it, rad

Yeah, this is why 3rd tiers are terrible for BTAs.

Anyways, not a bad price especially with more games coming next week (probably at least 2). Not a bad selection of games either.

So who do I have to blame for the jinx/mess that is this bundle?  I only want Neverending Nightmares but not sure if I $1 want it.  For $1 I could get two composition books, a pack of pens, and then just recreate the game.

Tiny Keep and Crowntakers are the only two I'm interested in but yeah, at this price, worth it.
rly? I guess I'll do your job for you this time then.

Tiny Keep is Digital Tribe so it'll likely be in an Indie Gala for cheaper. I don't know if it's worth buying for Crowntakers alone, I already had Monster Loves you (long before it got bundled).

The $1 tier is solid though, most people are missing Neverending Nightmares and Fotonica. Neverending Nightmares isn't all that great though.. but it has uh.. artistic appeal.

Anyone played Crowtankers and Tiny Keep?
Tiny Keep appealed to me by the way it looked and how I thought it would play.

Gameplay is pretty shallow and I felt I'd had enough of it after 20 minutes. It's fun, but I didn't feel there was much to it at all. It's fundle bodder, and now is as good a time as there is to deal with any curiosity you might have.

New Humble Bundle - PC & Android 13:
  • Crimsonland
  • Neverending Nightmares
  • Beatbuddy: Tale of the Guardians
  • FOTONICA
Beat the Average for the above and:
  • TinyKeep
  • Crowntakers
  • Monster Loves You!
That's almost as good as a main Humble Indie Bundle. +5, with four on my wishlist. At least a couple will be really nice to have on Android, too.

Completely miss the launch due to taking my son out for his birthday lunch, and end up with a BTA well lower than what people were bragging about a half hour ago? Nice.

Sure. At least if accounting for price. Outlast may be a better draw than Monster Loves You, but the rest of the BTA tier is pretty close. Unepic and Super Splatters are better than Fotonica and Neverending Nightmares, but not amazingly so.

That said, that most recent Humble Indie Bundle was not their strongest.

Yeah, probably not best to compare it to one of the worst main HBs, although I prefer Outlast and Mirrormoon EP to anything in this bundle.

Thanks for this... sort of looking for something to fill the Diablo-clone vibe but if it gets old fast I might as well put the $3 towards a D3 sale purchase.

One of those days when I am glad I was busy having a life during a HIB switch. Saved me the time refreshing the page for a cheaper price and just getting the cheaper price right when I get home.

I don't care if that's the top contributors list where everyone dropped $25, except the top contributor dropping $35 to screw things up for us consumers.

With a name like 2.74, it would've been more entertaining to me if that person dropped $2.74.
It defaults to $25, so I assume he put in 2.74 trying to pay the minimum, but put it in the name spot and left the amount at $25.
