I am glad I decided to start New Little King's Story when I was bored as hell yesterday.  I know I have said it before, but anyone who liked Pikmin should definitely check it out.  I do not think there is another game that is as similar to the feel of Pikmin as this one is.

I didnt wake up until 8am, so missed out on some stuff that would have been nice to get, mainly some movies for the child.

Need to pay better attention next year to the early access for elite, most likely could have got the movies then but didnt even think about it.

Did manage to get shrek complete for 20 from bby, 4 movies for 20 aint bad.

I noticed they had given me the vanilla Shadow of Mordor instead of the GOTY edition, and they hadn't put Saints Row IV PS4 in the stack (one of the workers came out before they opened and basically took your order and gave you a ticket so it was ready when you got to the register.) so I had to go back and wait in line. Then, just now when I got home, my nephew got Saints Row 2 for 360 and the case is empty. I'll probably just eat the cost and order it for him on Amazon.

Do what again? Whats wrong with saying the Packers suck?! We dont have Packers fans in here right? I never see anyone talk about any team other than the Seahawks. The greatest team that ever lived.

All I know if the Bucs are going to finish with a better record than the Packers and Seahawks. Bucs HHYYYPPPPEEE!!!!

I randomly woke up at 6 AM after going to bed at 2:30 so I dragged myself over to Gamestop for the Witcher 3 plus steelbook. Ended up getting the Vault Boy bobblehead as well. My store had like 20 of those Funko boxes and I just couldn't find the appeal in it.

Stopped into Walmart afterwards since its on the way home and they must have had 3 dozen 3 month PS+ cards. Picked up a year's worth for $40.

What's the steelbook's design? I'm considering heading over to GS today if it's a different steelbook than the one Best Buy gave with preorders (Geralt on front, Wild Hunt on back).

 
Only store I'm going to today is Fred Meyers.  (all socks and rainboots 50% off! HYPEEE)

Gotta pick up our thanksgiving meal anyway.

Most of the BF deals this year seemed really underwhelming.

 
I kept thinking the banner on the front page advertising the Stone Age Gamer sale actually said something about Stoned Gamers.

Since I don't have any DLC for RB on PSN, starting over with GHL isn't a terrible proposition. I do like that they seem to have tried to make something new rather then just rehashing the old game like RB4 seems to have done. The 2-row button layout looks potentially fun.

But I'm done spending money on me for now.

It's completely refreshing to kind of suck at one of these games again. And the difficulty is scaling pretty naturally as I keep playing.

 
Picked up GTA V from walmart! Spent tons today. Ended up with a 4k tv, a wii u, and a bunch of other shit for the kids for xmas. Pharm, what soundbar did you end up getting?

I went with the cheaper LG that is on sale for $200. It sounds very good but I am planning on stopping at Best Buy tonight after work to check out another one that is 4.1 and a little longer (so its more in line with the width of my TV) and highly rated as well. I like the looks of these LG bars so thats really the main reason I am going with them over a Sony or another well rated brand. Along with the fact these are rated highly by consumers and some web sites I have looked at.

Honestly, the 2.1 simulates surround pretty well. Well enough that I have heard sounds coming from my right or behind me and thought something was going on outside but it was just the TV. So that sound bar is pretty damn impressive for $200.

Dang, missed all the SE game price mistakes on amazon this morning, and I was up with the dog and everything. Oh well. Grabbed until dawn for shipping though. Should be done with BF shopping unless anything else pops up with weird pricing. Gonna look into getting Nova 111, Capsule Force, and Yugioh for the flash sale. 

 
This is kind of a long-shot question to ask, but does anyone here know of a good paper shredder in terms of brand and pricing? My dad asked me to be on the lookout for one. I know they get more expensive depending on how much you want to shred at a time, but I don't think he needs a really fancy one.

I don't think they ever actually stocked it in-store. Now I wish I hadn't passed on it when I posted it was live on the website, but I didn't think it would be that hard to find.

 
I don't know what the fuck I'm doing in this GHTV mode.  And I'll get 100% on a song but people still beat me with 86% and shit.  I think there's some pay to win stuff that can go on for the lower levels.

There isn't. Either theyre playing on a mich higher difficulty than you or they have some of the upgrades that let you get more points per note/higher multiplier, which cant even be purchased until level 9 or something.

But if I'm level 2, why would I be playing with level 9+ people? And I can't even figure out how to change the difficulty in GHTV, so I thought it was preset until I leveled or something.

I guess I need to read up online.

I figured it was pay to win because it looked like you can unlock those multipliers and things early if you pay for them with PSN bucks.

Pretty sure the only thing you can buy with real money are plays for on demand songs, the 24 hour party pass and instant access to a premium playlist
 
Finally got my hands on the hottest item this Black Friday, Simpsons Season 17. Brickseek said my Target had 3 but couldn't find them anywhere, took about 15 mins before I stumbled upon them in a super obscure area.

Also picked up one of those Funko Mystery Boxes from Gamestop. By far my biggest mistake of Black Friday. But besides that I'm pretty happy with my haul. Might return some of the Gamestop toys I bought online if they're not as cool as I'm hoping they will be.

Don't get Capsule Force unless you have local people to play it with. The single player is really blah.
