Still want a white PS4 though, but I guess I'll buy some sticker from Amazon for $10 and just decorate my console with that.

My 2TB came yesterday, but I have to wait to January to install it so that I have unlimited internet to redownload everything.

Does the PS4 have a bandwidth tracker like the X1 does?

Techland announced the free stuff they're adding to Dying Light as a part of the #DrinkForDLC campaign they held earlier this year:

Earlier this year Techland started a health-oriented campaign on social media under the hashtag #DrinkForDLC, encouraging people to drink water and stay hydrated. The fan response exceeded all expectations: the hashtag reached more than 15 million people and resulted in over 15 000 creative photos and videos of fans drinking water, not counting other expressions of support. As a thank you to the fans for their involvement, the development team designed additional free content for the game. Today Techland has detailed the contents of a three-part DLC pack that all Dying Light players will receive free of charge.

The #DrinkForDLC content pack will include:

  • The Fountain of Youth – all-new exploration-based quest available in the Old Town area.
  • Water 2.0 – blueprint for a new throwable weapon that intensifies the electrocution effect of all other weapons.
  • Water Challenges – two brand-new parkour challenges designed around the theme of water.
The #DrinkForDLC content pack will be included in Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition, the complete and immensely improved version of the game to be released on February 9th, 2016. Owners of the original version of the game will receive the pack as part of the free improvements update, which will be made available on the same day.

What 2tb HDD do you guys put in your PS4s? I had picked up the batman LE bundle a while back to set up in my bedroom and planned on putting a 1tb HDD in it. PIcked up the samsung spinpoint i think. Now that im thinking about it it may be a better bet to use a 2tb if theyre stable and dont really run any hotter.  I remember i was on the fence between a 7200 and 5400 rpm model. PS4s run a tad hot and i didn't want to put a 7200 in there and make it worse

 
How long of a game is Bastion? All the times it has been on sale I have not purchased yet but it looks interesting. Going to pick it up and Tales of the Borderlands as my first TTG experience.

If you just want to play the game for the story, then it's fairly short.

If you wanna look in for everything then it''ll take some time, not that long at all honestly. Could be 10-15, played it a couple of years ago on 360 so i can't remember. Great price tho.

PSA for anyone who bought or is considering buying Grow Home, or who (like me) got it for free through PS+ and hasn't played it yet. There is a bug that causes the game to crash and then when you restart, your save game is gone and you restart from the beginning. This happened to me at 99% completion (found all 100 crystals, had 1 star seed left). I googled and it looks like this has affected a few people on PS4 and there is no fix. I really liked the game but no way am I replaying it from the beginning.

Use this one, or if you are willing to void the warranty to save some money, you can pop open this external drive, it's the same model.

I got that external and installed the drive okay but when I put the old ps4 drive into the external exclosure it doesn't appear to get any power to it. The light that's supposed to come on when its plugged up doesn't and the pc doesn't register anything. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

this happened to me too. the hdd still works (i'm using it with my xbone), but the light doesn't come on.

the pc doesn't register it most likely because it has to be reformatted.

Wouldn't it still show up though? I was going to right click on it from my computer and format it that way. I guess I'll have to research and see how you do it otherwise.

 
Just did the chat about tales from the borderlands. I inquired as if their would be anyway to get the 3.75 credited back to my account (knowing full well what happened to most of you on here). Instead they are removing the license from my account and refunding me the 7.50. I'd honestly rather have just gotten 5 bucks like many of you, but I already beat the game so I suppose it doesn't matter. Any idea if this will affect my trophies for the game?
Edit: nvm, apparently the rep's supervisor apparently just told her to give me a 5 dollar voucher :p

I bought the external drive in the link, pried it open and installed the 2TB drive in my PS4 and have had no issues.
 
can someone explain dlc on the PS4?

Specifically, i'm trying to get the ps+ free packages for Gems of war (and guns up). 

I tried buying it in the store, and got a receipt for it... but how do i add it to the game?  How do i download? If i go to the store it's no longer visible, and if i go to my library i don't see any dlc...

Go to the game and scroll down. There should be an add-ons section with all the ones and the ones that are available if it needs to be downloaded. Some stuff just activates in game though if it doesn't need to be downloaded.

Yeah, it's no longer visible in addons, and there's no sign of it library, but when i reopened the game it unlocked the dlc stuff. so it worked.

game has crashed twice now, both during reward selection after winning a (very early) mission.

it's a match 3 combat game clone. fun enough, but definitely glitchy with crashing at least so far.
