Do all GameStops take older games? My brother's old roommate gave him a box of old NES games he didn't want anymore. They've been in a that box for years now. But when I looked on the site for trade-in values nothing seems to show up.

I'm debating getting rid of MGS5: PP and GTA5 since I can 40% more than I paid for them on trade in, and I am pretty sure I'll be able to get them for the sub $30 price again later this year.

That's kind of common knowledge, and the reason I almost never buy their "gutted" copies.
My local store claims they don't let employees try out new released, but I call BS.

We've already gone over the copy of Final Fantasy Type-0 where the redemption code for FF15 trial/demo was already used last year.....

I do remember that my friends would deduct 10% for "Customer Satisfaction" back in MI if I got stuck with the store/gutted copy but that is the exception not the rule.

I'd take that back immediately if I were you.

Yep! I have an open order for a new Professor Layton Azran Legacy from November for example.

Maybe not fired, but they still get results. Last year I stopped into my closest store (the old manager had quit the week before) and the place was an utter shit hole. Shelves in disarray, nothing where it belonged, stuff strewn about the floor. I had cases for four games I was going to buy, and they could only find one of the discs.

I did the survey that night (Friday) and blasted them on it. I stopped up Monday afternoon to pick up a game and they had the shelves stripped. Apparently, the DM stopped up that morning and ripped them apart because of the survey they received from "someone" on Friday. He told them to reorganize the entire store.

Store has been more or less tip-top ever since.

There's a few I was planning on picking up just because they were cheap (Mindjack, Quantum Theory, Last Rebellion which was $3.99) and wasn't sure if it's a mistake since I don't think I've seen a price end in a 6 there before.

Yeah. I notice that too since last Thursday. Quantum Theory was the one I was going for PS3 $1.99 until the wtf price of $4.96. Maybe wait until maybe a week after the 50% tiv. They did this around holiday season too. (picked up Driller DS and Teenage Zombies DS, but now $5 vs $2 when picked up last week)

yes, it will be whatever the .99 price is.

I am debating selling "The Force Unleashed" 1 and 2 since they went up in value and I have only the shitty "Gamestop" cases to both.

Well one last go today and took $29 and made $70 from it. So not too bad, not great but good enough.

So question. I'm not seeing the extra PUR on any of my trade in's. It is just the Trade in Base times .50.

So say...$15.00 x. 50  = $7.50 + $15.00 = $22.50.

Should I be getting the PUR?

it is opened. right now just trying to clear up some space. debating on keeping a few of the amiibos but more likely will get rid of them. I don't have too many "rares" as I just collected my favorites.

Do you have the paid version? If you don't have PUR Pro, then you're not supposed to get the extra 10%. It's only worth it if you plan to trade and/or buy $150 worth of stuff within a year. Getting the B2G1 is also a good thing.
