Pick up a set of these. I have some and they work great. It basically uses your power line as an Ethernet cord. The speeds are night and day compared to wi fi. Definitely worth checking out. There's also a version with two ports so you can hook up two different systems.

thanks I'll research this

There seems to be a lot of positive response to LEGO Marvel so I will get it. You guys thinking flash sale this weekend? It would be a good time for a $1 one.
Usually they are the 3rd or 4th friday of the month when it's not fixed on a specific holiday. It's entirely possible it's this weekend, but given we have 5 friday's this month... I think it's more likely it'lll be the following weekend. The $1 sales are great... but last year's under a $1 sale was pretty exceptional for PS3/Vita gamers. Some of the old Sam & Max games were $0.80. Breath of Fire IV was $0.96. There weren't many PS4 games but for Vita/PS3 it was pretty awesome. I think if we have another one of them I'd go grab an extra psn card even though I'm not even playing games right now (as my kids use my library on their ps3 & ps4).

Shovel Knight cross buy on sale for $10.04. Searched and didn't see this mentioned. Found it via 3ds eshop thread posted by Thorbahn3 at the same price there.

Look more closely. Soul Hackers is $15 every time I load up the eshop.
It's not on sale right now, so maybe you should look more closely. The last sale for that game ended 3/14.

I was objecting to the "frequent sales = nobody wants it" logic, not the fact that they go on sale. Atlus games are very popular.

Ive been waiting for FFVII to go on sale for the PS4 since I missed it the opening week when it was last on sale. HOW MUCH LONGER???

Yea, that's not how it works. My local store puts stuff like seltzer water and english muffins on sale every other week. People buy them in droves. The constant sales are because some people are more likely to buy if it's on sale, nothing more.

They also [rarely] have real sales, like that time most of their psp catalog was like 2.50 or so [and never that good again, thankfully i scooped em all up].

I'm still waiting for Atlus to do another major sale on their PSP games, I need my $7 Persona 3 plus misc games of there's I'll buy at $2.50. It's a cruel reminder every time I see Persona games for $15.

Looks like I'll grab it too. I have it physical still sealed but I can trade it in at GS for $16 with division coupon. That's the type of game I want digital plus get $5.96 for doing that.

Yep. If you don't believe it, there's likely case studies of JCPenney's sales tanking when they took away sales and coupons.

Would this also work with PS4? I tried streaming via Twitch and my speed was too low to get it to broadcast. Would this device help?

Worked for me. I have both my Xbox One and my PS4 hooked up to one of the two port models. I have to reset them every now and then, but over all, they've made a massive improvement. I've heard stories about it not working for some people, but I'd say its definitely worth a shot. You just have to be sure to plug them directly into the wall, and not in to a surge protector or something.

With how often their games are on sale on the 3DS, I am surprised we never see anything decent anymore. I played through P3P during one of the better times of my life and fondly remember that game, would love to give it a go again.

Is this the first sale that Shovel Knight has had on PSN? I own it on the 3DS(cart & digital), is it worth my time to get it on Vita?

It had a 10% PS+ discount at launch last April, but that was it. If you haven't played it, it's a fantastic game that really pops on the Vita's screen. I believe they added Kratos as a wandering boss fight on the world map screen.

Yeah, I played about half way through the 3DS version, and then when they announced the physical, I decided to hold off playing until I got the cart version. Now I just haven't gone back. I really wish the Vita had gotten a physical version, but I guess they figured it would sale the least, but I think it would have done well enough to be worth their time, but oh well.

I may triple dip, as this game is rather good, and I like to show support to developers like this.

Thanks for the advice. Haven't played this on any platform so I decided to grab it for Vita.

I keep thinking the same thing. I have picked up tons of there games on my 3DS on good sales. I've been craving a Persona game since I beat P4G last summer and P5 keeps mocking us with no info. The sale this week makes me think they won't have one during Golden Week...

Bought Shovel Knight although I already had it on Xbox One and Wii U. I want Streets of Rage and Super Hang-on for PS3 although $4 each is still pretty steep since it's only $1 off of each game, so I'm debating those. Sega must be in dire financial straits.

So I'm guessing the reliability of these things has significantly improved over the years? I bought these things a while back. Worked perfectly for a day and then I couldn't get my devices to connect no matter what I tried so I returned them.

I think Sega/Atlus have essentially reset their sales strategy over the last few months including how many and how often their games are going on sale at a time along with the discounts (mostly for PSN since the eShop sales have been steady drops over long periods of time).

man  no game buying for me for awhile  just had a 700 car repair.. starting to think i should just take the money out of the bank and go buy a new  12,000 car i mean buying a  3000 buck car with repair  that only last  4 years i think  a new one last longer

I just bought another set of tires, second set in 4 months (winter and summer)

I have more in tires than the car is worth

you could look into leasing and see if that would work for your situation, I've heard decent things

if you have good credit or a good down payment one of those cheap new cars with no extras might be the way to go

if you treat them well you can usually run them for many years

In terms of the way they price their Mega Drive/Genesis titles on PSN, Steam and XBLA, I think they're being unrealistic since there are so many ways to play those games that don't cost $4-$5 a pop. But I'll say no more on that topic since I'd like to remain a CAG member!

That's a terrible comparison. You consume seltzer water until you run out and need more. You buy a game once. Keeping such a product on sale constantly implies that demand is low, and consistently putting it on sale implies that demand is consistently low. So either that's right or these guys don't understand supply/demand principles.

Frisky has Minecraft PS4 ever been on sale? The $5 upgrade deal doesn't count.

I was hoping when I would check on here a $1 flash sale would be announced.

when you realize there might not be a flash sale and your reason for living on fridays doesn't exist this week
