I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

You're not going to play the damned things anyway so who cares? They're made for girls so there's no porn it's just all romance stuff, sometimes it's optional and there's a route to not romance anyone.

Besides which, you have so many personalities brothers that one of them's bound to be gay. ;)

lol I've been in that "club" ever since they added the card idling restriction for refunds. The Drunk Wizards revocation doesn't affect my card idling, but I figured others should know

For performance per dollar, I've been very happy with my R9 290X I picked up last year for $250.  The only driver issues I've had with it was one of the MGS games (don't recall which) which was fixed next driver update and the JC2 multiplayer mod which I don't really count since it was a 3rd player mod.  That said, I've used both Nvidia and AMD cards, would happily use either again (still have fond memories of my GTX 9800+ that lasted forever) and base my GPU purchases on what's the best performance for my price range when I'm buying it.

Dead by Daylight was fun.  It was even fun to just spectate Fox's game with the bros via Steam although obviously watching strangers would be less entertaining.  I wouldn't pay $20 for it but I'll certainly be around for the second playing.  The problem with it as a paid product is that I can see the novelty wearing off before too long since the game is really pretty limited in scope.

I still don't have a SSD yet.  Further updates to follow.

In other news, people are apparently swiping FO4 PC mods and uploading them to the Xbox platform without crediting the creators.  Bethesda's response is to say that the creators can file a DCMA Takedown Request if they think their stuff's been stolen.  Which puts the burden on the creator to file documents rather than on Bethesda to have any sort of curation on their part.

Just to make it more click-baity, some guy who put up one of the most popular Xbox mods (not his, of course) defended it by saying that PC gamers were elitist  :lol:

 
is it true that nuuvem is now checking the pay pal address?  I was trying to buy something and it cancels after I pay with paypal, of course using VPN.  I havent bought much from them and cities skylines appears to be a key that I could activate from them if I could make the purchase.

Yes. Not for every game it seems, but for certainly for the majority of them and it pretty much killed Nuuvem as a source unless you want to go through second-hand people who live in S. America.

I thought Paradox eventually locked regions on Cities: Skylines (I bought mine from Nuuvem at launch before this all went down) but maybe they just locked RU/CIS. I haven't had reason to check.

About Nuuvem, when in doubt check Reddit and see what people are bitching about there. Though at this point I would just write them off as a source unless you hear otherwise from someone that a game is an exception and able to get there without much fuss.

Paradox has been region locking more though. Cities Skylines does have some "Latin America" locked versions in the Steamdb. Also like Syntax said most non-indie stuff (and some indie) is getting Paypal locked at Nuuvem as well.

I'm hoping this isn't the case. I got 2 cards in Absolute Drift last night after playing for about 80 minutes. If it is though, this dev is forever on my shitlist as I still have 560+ games to idle. This is what I get for being a slacker.

I don't think anyone including Valve knows what the hell they are doing with that list.There were some people in the Drunk Wizards threads that said they got theirs revoked and still get cards fast. Likewise there have been people who swear up and down they never refunded or had anything revoked or anything like that and still ended up on the list.

If you're still getting quick drops like that you're probably fine.

I like playing old games from GOG. Get an installer and bam it's just there and you can mod it easily or do whatever. I like it!

You really gonna take everything I say as serious? I mean for fuck sake I own Bully on multiple platforms and you can make high school boys kiss in that. If I had a problem with the whole too many dudes/gay thing like I joked about I wouldn't have Ouran High School Host Club or The Wallflower among my list of favorite anime.

After opening 1400 boosters, my inventory is finally clean of them!

Everything will be fine. You have a DRM-FREE copy on GOG, so you won't have to worry about DRM nonsense. Keep your installer files somewhere and you can always grab them to reinstall whenever + wherever; even offline if need be.

And you can also use their optional Galaxy client, if need be. :)

Plus, NWN2 ain't on Steam anymore, as you pointed out. So, you're good. :)
